Chapter 44: Night Exploring the Forbidden Forest

Looking at the sleeping Daphne, Brian's expression seemed solemn and puzzled.

"So, she just fell asleep?" Pansy Parkinson patted his chest and breathed a long sigh.

"Maybe, it's better to send her to the school hospital for a check-up." Brian stared at Pansy for a long time until she looked away in panic, and then said lightly.

Several little wizards rushed to assemble a simple stretcher. Bryan used a spell to levitate it, and Goll was responsible for dragging it.

"So, Pansy, why would she drink your potion?" Draco said on the way.

"She's willing to give me a try," Pansy muttered, "I did it according to her command anyway..."

"So... Daphne was so stupid?" Draco said bluntly. He expressed disbelief at this act of dying.

"No, she actually made it successfully." Brian took a small bottle of potion and pondered, "It's just that the weight of the ecstasy is a little heavier, and it has an extra sleepy effect. But the potion has no problem with its effect. To some extent, this cannot be considered a failure."

"She just fell asleep?" Draco muttered, "Then we don't have to take her to the hospital..."

"But the problem is that she is not just asleep now..." Brian said meaningfully, taking a deep look at Pansy.

She turned her head away in a panic.

"It's not just falling asleep?" Draco repeated.

After looking at Daphne who was lying quietly on the stretcher, the corners of her mouth were slightly raised, as if she was having a beautiful dream, and Brian fell silent.

After Mrs. Pomfrey's inspection, the professors rushed over one after another, allowing several young wizards to notice the seriousness of the matter.

"So, Miss Parkinson, where is her amulet?" Dumbledore's blue eyes stared at Pansy seriously and said slowly.

"I...I don't know!" Pansy said in a panic.

"Parkinson, you should realize that this is a serious accident." Snape stared at her with a cold and empty look, "Continuing to hide will only deepen the blame... It is still time..."

Pansy lowered her head and said in a low voice: "I took it away at noon today... I just wanted Daphne to worry, but she didn't expect that she hadn't noticed..."

"You know that's not something that should be used as a joke..." Snape narrowed his eyes and his face turned ashen, making the air around him look cold.

"I will handle Parkinson's business." He nodded to everyone and left the place with the crying Pansy.

Mrs. Pomfrey arranged a bed for Daphne, and Professor McGonagall looked a little haggard and she hurriedly left.

"You go first, Draco." Brian said to Draco, who was somewhat frightened, "Catch up with Professor Snape."

"Okay, what about you?" he said.

"I want to figure out some of the problems," Brian whispered.

"Okay, then be careful." Draco pulled Gole away in a hurry. Obviously he had many questions to ask Snape.

After everyone left one by one, Dumbledore rubbed his eyebrows, looking a little tired.

"Professor Dumbledore, have you found the reason for leaving the soul?" Brian whispered.

"No connection, Brian." Dumbledore sighed, "I only know that they were in a state of unconsciousness before leaving the soul, but I don't have any clues about why it was them."

"Did you ever think about trying to make yourself unconscious?" Brian whispered, "Maybe you're in it too..."

"Ah, obviously this is a good way." Dumbledore narrowed his eyes slightly and smiled. "But when I wanted to do this, I suddenly realized that it was not a good idea to lose consciousness when the problem in the secret room was not solved."

Brian nodded slightly and said, "I understand. Goodbye, sir."

He left the school hospital, looked at the direction of the forbidden forest, and went straight back to the public lounge.

"Bryan, have you asked anything?" Draco rubbed his light blonde hair randomly, looking a little irritable, "The dean refused to tell me..."

"Obviously, it's the so-called epidemic, just like Crab." Brian blinked slightly.

"Haha, the disease..." Draco mocked, "Who would believe it was a disease... Maybe it was a black magic, or the monster in the secret room was out of control!"

"No, I'm going to write to my dad and ask him to take me out of Hogwarts." He walked back and forth in front of the fireplace. "We don't have to take that risk, wait until the danger passes before coming back, or transfer directly to Demstrong!"

Brian nodded helplessly and said, "Okay, let it go. I have to go out."

"Don't go out! Don't you know how dangerous it is outside?" Draco grabbed his robe and looked at him in confusion, "You look like a brainless Gryffindor!"

"Obviously, Draco, as long as he carries amulet, there will be no danger." Brian shook the brass coin in his hand and said.

"Okay, let it go!" Draco said angrily, walking straight towards the dormitory.

Brian shook his head slightly, turned around and walked out of the stone wall, put on his invisible clothes. He walked up the stairs, passed the dark foyer, passed through the venue, and once again came to the Forbidden Forest.

He walked along the dark forest path towards the depths of the forbidden forest and arrived at the most border shown by the castle model.

Brian walked along the border, carefully inspected several locations, and eventually found some gadgets in an inconspicuous cave.

They were some stones, and they were arranged in strange shapes.

Brian identified it carefully and showed a faint smile.

He walked out of the cave, crossed the border, entered deeper in the forbidden forest, and slowly walked in one direction.

The deeper forbidden forest gradually became dangerous, and Brian needed to use several spells from time to time to drive away the beasts that came out to find food at night.

After Brian waved his wand to drive away a few half-man-high rats, he heard a scream not far behind him.

Brian lowered his face slightly, and he turned around and knocked the mouse behind him unconscious, rushing towards the direction where the sound came.

In the dense grass, Draco was standing up in panic. He was wearing a one-sided glasses on his face. He was busy pulling the slippery invisible clothes onto his body. Seeing Brian's gaze, he smiled awkwardly and took off the funny glasses on his face.

"Why are you here, Draco?" Brian said unhappily.

"Ah, I'll come out to see the scenery..." Draco raised his chin and said proudly, "There is no rule here that no one is allowed..."

"Tell me, how did you follow me?" Brian rolled his eyes slightly and said with his head tilted.

Draco smirked and said, "I sprinkled some developer on you, and I carry this..." He shook the one-sided glasses in his hand and said, "Development."

Brian raised his eyebrows. He knew that this product was one of the products of the Magic Joke Store. The developer was colorless and odorless ink. Only with a special developer can the fluorescence it emitted could be seen. However, it is not confidential and not very practical. It is often used by young wizards to write secret texts and codes. Unexpectedly, Draco developed a new purpose.

"Then why do you have an invisible cloak?"

"Because I found the invisible clothing very useful, I asked my dad not long ago." Draco said proudly.

"Well, I'm really careless," Bryan muttered, "Go back, Draco. You shouldn't follow me, it's dangerous."

"No way! You must know something, but you never tell me!" Draco said in a low voice, "Did you discover the identity of that heir?"

"Anyway, Draco, what's going on next will be dangerous." Brian looked at him, "maybe he'll die."

"You didn't deny it!" Draco said with a slight smile, "You really came out to find that heir? You shouldn't have excluded me! You clearly know that I will help you!"

"It's not like that, now, go back, Draco!" Brian said seriously.

"You can't order me to do anything, Brian." Draco raised his face and said, "You can pretend I don't exist." He covered his invisible clothes on himself.

"Okay, then you have to hide, Draco." Brian said softly.

"Of course." Draco's voice came muffled.

"Stay away from me, and remember, don't ask why for anything that happened tonight." Brian said gently, "I will explain it to you after tonight."
