Chapter 17 The Chamber of Secrets

"Tom, I've been feeling a little drowsy lately, I don't know what's going on."

"Bryan, you must have a cold, have a good rest."

"But, I don't think this is a cold..."

"Just take a break."

"Well, I believe you, Tom."

Brian felt his virtual consciousness gradually fall into a deep sleep, and his body was occupied by a will that did not belong to him.

He could feel his body and everything around him, but he felt like he was being controlled by an unknown spell, and his body moved on his own.

Brian's will build a stronger wall deep in his mind, isolating that evil and cold will from the outermost layer.

He felt his body curl up and a cold smile appeared.

He took his diary and walked around the common room, then walked out the door.

He walked straight up the stairs and finally came to a girl's bathroom on the second floor. After carefully observing the absence of the ghost inside, he came to a pool and hissed at the copper dragon head with a small snake carved on the side.

Brian kept his mind running to the minimum, thinking that Tom really couldn't wait.

The faucet emits a dazzling white light, and it begins to rotate rapidly. Then the pool also moves, slowly disappearing from its sight, revealing a thick water pipe that can accommodate a person in.

He got in and slid down the wet pipe, as if passing through a winding and twisty slide. Finally, the pipe gradually became horizontal, his speed slowed down and slipped out from the other end of the pipe.

Next, he walked into the dark stone tunnel, passed by a huge green snake skin, turned one corner after another, and hissed again in front of a stone wall carved with two snakes entangled with each other, causing the stone wall to crack in the middle. He walked in without pause.

This was a long, dimly lit room with a huge statue in front of him. He walked among the towering stone pillars and stopped, hissing a long snake whispering.

The mouth of the huge stone statue cracked open, and Brian found his body closed his eyes.

The basilisk's eyes have extraordinary magic powers. Directly facing it will cause death, while if you see it indirectly, people will be petrified.

A rustling sound approached from the depths of the statue, which was the sound of a huge snake crawling. It fell on the stone ground, making the secret room tremble. One man and one snake communicated what Brian couldn't understand in a snake-like voice.

Brian heard a sharp and harsh laugh in his throat.

Next, he climbed onto the Basilisk's body, and Brian could feel the cold and slippery hard scales. The Basilisk carried his body through the pipe for a long time, and finally sent him back to the original bathroom.

The pool returned to its original position and covered the thick water pipe, but the snake monster did not come out.

Brian looked at his body and naturally returned to the common room, back to the dormitory, and lay down on the bed.

The cold and evil aura that was entrenched in his body disappeared, and Brian's consciousness returned to isolate Tom's influence. He opened his eyes, looked at the ceiling calmly, and said softly in his heart: "Very good, Tom."

He closed his eyes and recalled the few snake words Tom said. One sentence should be "Open", the other sentence should be "Open", the other sentence should be "Open", the other sentence should be "Open" and the other sentence should be "Send me out".

Because he was spoken through his own voice, he was deeply impressed.

Before today, he used a testimony point to make the [Language Rune] that he had never upgraded to the entry level.

Many languages and runes in this world require specific talents, such as the snake accent. It is difficult for human voices to make such sounds accurately, and it is difficult to distinguish the differences between different hissings. This obviously requires an innate talent. However, "linguistic runes" can allow him to avoid the limitations of talent to a certain extent.

Brian got up from the bed, put Tom's diary in his carry-on bag, put on his invisible clothes and ran out.

"Shit, hiss~"

Brian practiced in the House of Responsibility for a long time and finally mastered these words thoroughly.

"As for how to control the Basilisk?" Brian pondered, "No matter what, now I have the capital to talk to Tom about cooperation."

He put on his invisible clothes and came to the bathroom where the secret room was again.

That ghost Myrtle is not here.

Brian snapped his fingers and called softly: "Ika!"

A house elf appeared beside him with a "pop", bowed respectfully at him, and said in a sharp voice: "Young Master."

Although Hogwarts prohibits the phantom movement, it cannot stop the domestic elves. This is indeed a loophole worth exploiting.

"Ika, I need your help." Brian said softly, "If we are in danger, you will take my phantom and move back here."

Although he learned that snake language, he was not sure whether the snake monster would attack him. After all, he didn't know much snake language, and he was not born with snake accent. Bringing Ika with him can take him away at critical moments.

"As for orders, young master!" Ika said with honor, blinking her big glass bead-like eyes.

"Open." Brian's hissing sound came from his mouth, and he breathed a light sigh when he saw the water pipe appear again.

"Follow me," he said to Ika.

They slid down the water pipe, stepped on the bones of countless small animals on the ground, passed by the peeling skin of the snake monster, and came to the huge statue again. Around them were stone pillars coiled around the giant snake, casting strange black shadows in the room.

The Basil monster is not here, it seems to be back inside the statue.

Brian looked up and looked at the statue carefully. It was Slytherin himself, with an old and thin face, with a sparse beard dragging to the hem of the stone robe. His eyes were inlaid with emeralds, staring at him like life.

Brian checked it carefully and found a essay behind the statue, using words twisted and wrapped like a crawling snake.

"That's what this is?" Brian pondered.

"But what did Slytherin think?" He didn't understand Slytherin's thoughts. "Leave a secret room and a basilisk to get his heirs back to purify the school? That's stupid."

"If he really wants to purify the school, why don't he come by himself, but let his heirs complete it. Once that person doesn't want to purify the school?" Brian frowned and thought, "And what he left behind was a snake monster, which is very dangerous and can easily hurt other little wizards by chance. Even if he leaves a black magic item, it should be more reliable than a snake monster."

Whether from the secrets of the magic history textbook or the forbidden book area, Slytherin is not a villain. On the contrary, he can indeed be called a great man.

As one of the founders of Hogwarts, the secret records that he was a dark wizard, but in addition to opposing the entry of Muggle-born wizards into Hogwarts, he was a person responsible for students and was also highly praised at the time.

Before the disagreement occurred, Slytherin was Gryffindor's friend and could never be an evil person.

"Does Tom know?" Brian sighed, "Will Slytherin have any other considerations to leave this secret room?"

"Ika, let's confirm first, can you phantomize here?" Brian said softly at Ika who was looking around timidly.

"Okay, young master." Ika replied with a sharp voice, disappeared out of thin air, and returned to its original place. "Okay, young master!"

"Very good. Close your eyes, Ika, don't open it without my order." Brian praised, far away from the stone statue, hissing and saying the words like a parrot.

The statue's mouth opened again, and Brian closed his eyes and felt the big snake crawling out, lying around the foot of the stone statue and hissing.

Brian felt Ika grab his arm tightly, as if he was about to move the phantom away at any time. He lowered his head, opened his eyes slightly, and saw the huge snake body sliding and coiling on the ground. It had bright green scales, like beautiful jade.

Brian stood in the distance, his body straightened, alerting to the sudden attack of the snake monster.

Fortunately, things were not bad, and the snake monster was entrenched on his own, sliding gently on the ground, without any intention of attacking him.

After three minutes of stalemate, the snake monster swam out of the door, probably looking for food.

Brian breathed a sigh of relief and opened his eyes.

The mouth of the Slytherin statue was still wide open, and it was dark inside, like a huge mouth leading to the abyss.

Brian's heart moved and ordered the house elf who was still closed with his eyes tightly said, "Ika, open your eyes and send me into the hole."

Ika grabbed Brian's arm and whirled slightly, the figures of the two appeared out of thin air in the statue's mouth.

There was a long circular corridor inside. They continued to move down the inclined corridor. Gradually, a trace of green light appeared in front of them.
