007 Back to Shen Quan Bo smiles

(Preface: Does the so-called "Divine Fist of the Boxer Rebellion" and the Somersault Cloud in Journey to the West really exist in reality? Or is it just a foolish superstition and myth of literary creation? These are neither superstition nor myths, but after the veil of mystery is unveiled, many people may be disappointed. It turns out that it is really like this! It's better not to know! So there are some things in the world, it's better to keep a little mystery. Legends are more interesting than facts.)

Of course I can't ask for such an opportunity! In my opinion, the two "energy people" of Feng Junzi and Yun Fei are mysterious existences. I still don't know the origin of Feng Junzi. In short, I feel that this person is a bit more powerful in the world. What he taught me really means to put a duck. Yun Fei is different. He is a disciple of the famous living Buddha. In today's words, he is a serious professional background. If he is willing to point his fingers, it is better than me to fumble around myself.

Yun Fei taught me very simply, but it was much more detailed than what Feng Junzi taught me. He taught me the "Seven-Section Method" and "Stop the mind and follow the breath".

Yun Fei said to me, "Although walking, sitting and lying down are all practices, but for those who are introductory, meditation is the first level. How can you be upright in your mind? Feng Junzi doesn't even teach you how to adjust your body and sit, which is too unreasonable." As he said that, Yun Fei found a flat place on the side of the road, sat cross-legged, and waved to me, "I'll tell you the most commonly used and most standard seven-limb sitting method."

The so-called seven-branch sitting method refers to the seven key points of the sitting posture: (1) The feet are tucked. (2) The spine is straight. (3) The left and right hands are rounded under the lower abdomen, placed flat on the hips, the palms of both hands are facing upwards, the back of the right hand is flat on the left palm, and the thumb is gently opposed. This is called the Buddhist Samadhi Seal (Station Seal). (4) The shoulders are stretched. (5) The head is straight and the jaw is slightly closed. (6) The eyes are half open and half closed. (7) The tip of the tongue is gently pressed against the upper palate. When sitting in meditation, you must relax your whole body and smile slightly; you must not be too full or hungry, and you must not sit in the air outlet; you must not be forced to sit in the air for a long time when you are meditating.

After Yun Fei finished talking about the seven-pin sitting method, I sat down beside him as he did, but I couldn't imitate it. My legs were too hard and I couldn't cross them like him. He put his right soles on his left thigh, and then placed his left soles on his right thigh, and his legs were wrapped together like a joint.

Yun Fei saw that I had gestured for a long time but couldn't cross my legs, so he shook his head and said, "Forget it, don't cross it like this. Try putting your left foot on your right leg. Well, it's barely OK. This is called Vajra sitting. Putting your right foot on your left leg is called Ruyi sitting. You can sit like this first. Be careful that some people practice meditation at the beginning, and every once in a while, they will feel unbearable pain in their legs. Pay attention to spreading their legs and relaxing their blood vessels, and then crossing their legs. Many people can't cross it. When I was a child, my master tied up my legs with a rope. I think you also need to tie a bundle..."

Damn! Do you have to tie a rope when meditating? This is the first time I heard about this. After Yun Fei taught me the "seven-segment method", he also taught me the mental method of "stop the mind and follow the breath". Yun Fei explained to me in detail the four aspects of "wind, panting, breath, and breath" about meditation and regulating breath. Wind: sound in and out. Panting: although silent, there is awareness in and out. Qi: silent and unconscious, but the mind is rough. Breathing: silent, without stagnation, not rough and floating, continuous in and out, as if it exists or is dead. Only the breath can the body and spirit be stable and can you enter into meditation.

Yun Fei also said that if my skills in regulating my mind and calming these days have a foundation, I can try to realize the state of "desire realm" or "the first meditation has not reached the level of concentration". After Yun Fei finished speaking, he also told me not to tell Feng Junzi what to do tonight. Since he kindly helped me, if he didn't tell Feng Junzi, he wouldn't tell me. Anyway, Feng Junzi said everything casually, and I don't think he would mind.

The changes in things happened on the night when Shang Yunfei taught me the "Seven-Level Sit Method" and "Stop the Mind and Follow the Breath". After sitting according to the "Seven-Level Sites" taught by Yunfei, he adjusted his energy and breath, and his mind went in and out with the breath, as if there were or not. Sure enough, he felt that it was much more convenient. In this meditation, he suddenly entered a strange state: he felt that the world around him was quiet, time seemed to have stopped, and the breath was almost unaware of the extremely subtle place, and the thought of following breath was not known where it was. Just when I almost forgot the existence of my body, a warm and numb feeling quietly appeared, gradually spreading all over my body.

This feeling does not come from the limbs of the body, but flows out from the heart, making people feel very comfortable and have a bit of nostalgia. They almost don’t want to get up and sit up, so they want to sit down like this. It turns out that meditation can also be a kind of enjoyment? No wonder those monks and Taoists come here for nothing! Just as I was immersed in it, my shoulders jumped involuntarily. Then I went down from my shoulders, and my whole body began to tremble. The tremor started very subtle and felt very comfortable, but gradually something was wrong. The movements of various parts of the body became larger and larger, and there seemed to be an invisible force walking around in my body without my control. Fortunately, I am sitting cross-legged and sealed, otherwise I might dance and dance.

I moved for a long time and didn't stop until Huang Jianfeng on the upper bunk couldn't help but patted the bed board and said to me: "Shiye, why do you always turn over if you don't sleep? I woke me up." Only then did I end that strange state and return to reality. Is this what Yun Fei called "desire realm"? To be honest, that feeling was really good, but later my body's uncontrollable movements were unexpected. After I came out of meditation, I found that my legs were completely sore and numb because I sat cross-legged for too long. I stretched out and massaged for a long time before I recovered. After recovering, I felt very comfortable and really comfortable!

The next day, I wanted to ask Yun Fei what was going on, but in the morning I accidentally met Feng Junzi in the stadium. Feng Junzi got up abnormally early that day, and seemed to be waiting for me in the stadium. Seeing me walking into the stadium from afar, I walked over and asked, "Shi Ye, how are you calming down these days? It's the eighteenth day. Do you have a day left, do you have any experience?"

After Feng Junzi's reminder, I felt that time flies so fast. Eighteen days have passed since the book "Zhuangzi" he gave me. I originally wanted to ask Yun Fei, but since I met Feng Junzi and asked him, it didn't matter, so I told him the experience of meditation last night. I just remembered Yun Fei's advice and did not tell him that Yun Fei taught me the martial arts.

Feng Junzi actually laughed after hearing this. He smiled and asked me, "Shi Ye, have you practiced qigong?"

Qigong? In the late 1980s, it was the beginning of the qigong craze in mainland China. The qigong propaganda at that time was not as magical as it was later. In short, there were qigong treatments, qigong predictions, and qigong dances, and qigong calligraphy. I remember seeing a qigong master performing qigong calligraphy. He closed his eyes and held a pen on the paper with his hand. According to him, qi was walking at will. Thinking of my involuntary movements last night, I suddenly had an idea: If this movement is controlled only in my hands, can I also perform qigong calligraphy?

Seeing that I didn't answer, Feng Junzi continued, "Speaking of this, your situation is spontaneous exercise. There are many ways to verify the Yingning realm, and it was already as expected that you would act spontaneously."

"As long as you expected?"

Feng Junzi smiled again: "When you were eight years old, you were sealed with a golden needle for ten years. Although I accidentally untied it, the circulation of qi and blood is still stagnant. In the quiet, the qi flows naturally, wandering and impacting the meridians of the whole body, and it will most likely move spontaneously. The so-called cherry clearance means cherry twitching and then tranquility. You have now realized what cherry twitching is, and the next step is to seek tranquility in cherry twitching. But if you are always cherry but uneasy, you may be able to go to the Divine Fist!"

"Fight the God's Fist?"

Feng Junzi nodded: "It's just a divine fist. Have you heard of the Boxer Rebellion? It's the gang that claimed to support the Qing Dynasty and destroy the United States a hundred years ago. They claimed to be the Justice Fist. The supernatural powers they called were this kind of spontaneous exercise, but they called it the divine fist. Spontaneous exercise is also a kind of exercise in Qigong. If you decide to go this way, you can join the Boxer Rebellion."

Feng Junzi is really funny, and even the Boxer Rebellion was pulled out. I asked for some inexplicable questions: "You said I can also fight the divine fist? How do you fight the divine fist?"

Feng Junzi: "Since you are so curious, I will let you experience it yourself. Your current cultivation level is not suitable for standing and entering a quiet state, but if you want to practice divine fist, you can try standing. Just relax and stand up. The mind is the same. You can do whatever you did last night and do it now."

I have never tried standing in peace before. Since Feng Junzi asked me to try, I would try it. This question came. I should stop my mind and follow my breath. After my thoughts calmed down, my shoulders moved almost immediately, and then my hands were waving involuntarily. I closed my eyes slightly at that time, and as my hands waved, my legs were involuntarily turning around and moving away. Gradually, my movements became bigger and bigger, and it was like boxing.

I was spontaneously moving while sitting cross-legged, but now I let go of my body and walk around, and I felt very light and almost wanted to fly. Just as I was dancing, I suddenly heard Feng Junzi whispering in my ear: "Somedog Cloud, get up!" With this low shout, I couldn't help but take two steps forward, flipped the little bit, and then landed lightly (a bit like the light skill in martial arts novels). After one little bit, I turned two more bit bit bit, which were all actions that I couldn't do normally. At this time, I heard Feng Junzi yell in a low voice: "Enough, stop playing, stop playing, stop exorcising!"

Receiving the exercise? My body is almost uncontrollable now, how can I restrain it? Feng Junzi has never taught me! Perhaps Feng Junzi suddenly remembered that he did not teach me how to restrain it, so he shouted again: "Down with a rest, open his eyes and exhale, and stop!" As he stopped, my movements stopped and opened his eyes to look at him.

"Shi Ye, you are too exaggerating. You can even find somersault clouds and you can play as a master." Feng Junzi looked obviously surprised when he spoke, but there was a bit of joking in surprise.

I was shocked: "Sisters-Douyun? Are you talking about Sun Wukong's Somers-Douyun? That's one hundred and eight thousand miles away. I just had a few casualties."

Feng Junzi sighed: "You probably don't believe it. This is the legendary somersault cloud, like a fake one. What's nonsense? It's really nonsense. It's really like a circle and a half circle of the earth. Do you think you are a spaceship? The descriptions in the novel are of course all exaggerated by literati. And somersault clouds are not fabricated out of thin air. The basis for its reality is the little you just made up. How about it? Do you feel like you find Brother Monkey?"

"That's the case with somersault cloud? This is the first time I heard about it! What's going on with the big dance master?"

Feng Junzi pretended to be serious and said, "Do you think those witches and talismans who danced with great gods are pretending? I tell you, many people are really dancing! You can invite gods as you jump, but you can invite gods as you like, but you are either monsters or ghosts, which is what the scientific experts call instant personality splitting. If you are determined to be a witch, I can teach you. With your natural supernatural powers, you may become the best witch ever!"

"Bah! You are the witch. You can't teach me anything useful or noble."

Feng Junzi smiled again: "Just just a joke. From Ying Ning to Sitting Forgetfulness, you must pass this level. The quietness is extremely vivid, from scratching and returning to silence, the skill of regulating the mind is almost done. In fact, what I want to teach you is the alchemy path. Don't be anxious, as the time comes will naturally lead you to the beginning. It is more difficult to move from movement to stillness than from stillness to movement. The first step is to converge from disorder to order. Your spontaneous movement is too violent, and you are almost fighting the divine fist, which is not normal. If Yun Fei is here, you will definitely say that you have entered the evil path."

"Not normal! What should I do?"

"It's easy to deal with. Didn't Mr. Gao teach you a set of Five Animal Plays? As far as I know, you need to enter a quiet place in movement, and the qi will naturally be activated. This is simply tailor-made according to your situation. Just practice this set of Five Animal Plays. At the beginning, you just think it's boxing. When you start, you will naturally enter a quiet place in movement, and the qi will naturally converge and not walk around. If you don't practice Five Animal Plays well, Tai Chi, you can try it."

According to Feng Junzi's words, I tried to practice the Five Animal Play taught by Mr. Gao. At the beginning, I was still doing the movements by myself, but as my mind became more and more calm, I found that this movement became involuntary, driven by an invisible force in my body. But this time, I did not jump around with my teeth and claws, but I did this set of Five Animal Play in a regular manner, one paragraph after another, until the fifth paragraph was completed and the end of the exercise was completed. I felt that although I did not use force, I also had a spontaneous movement of my body, after the expiration of the exercise, I felt a sense of indescribable pleasure.

I said to Feng Junzi a little excitedly: "Old Gao told me that there is no need to force memorize the meridians to guide the meridians. When the skill is mastered, the chance of qi will be activated. I just found the feeling of qi activation. Can I also practice innate vitality?"

Feng Junzi snorted coldly: "Innate vitality? Do you think it's so easy? Don't stop and send me no way, but you have to learn alchemy with me, at least you have to wait until the foundation building is completed. After Zhou Tian practices the body, it's still early... It doesn't matter if you don't understand it now, but you will know what the flow of true energy is... Don't be discouraged. What you did today is already very good. I really didn't expect that you looked stupid and have a good understanding. Remember, if your body moves again when you sit in meditation today, don't worry about it, spontaneously and stop spontaneously. Remember not to use external forces."

...

We were both late for morning self-study that day and were caught and scolded by Teacher Sima Zhibei who inspected the classroom. When get out of class was over at noon, Yun Fei came to the door and asked me how I was doing last night. I told Yun Fei about the situation that was activated in peace last night, but I did not teach me about the divine boxing in the morning. I was more careful, just to know what the difference between him and Feng Junzi was.

After hearing this, Yun Fei frowned and said in a deep thought: "Shi Ye, I really didn't expect you to be so diligent. According to your statement, you have entered the "State of the First Meditation" and there are often eight kinds of feelings of "moving, itchy, cool, warm, light, heavy, astringent, and slippery" in this state, called the "eight touch". The easiest thing to do among these eight touches is "moving touch". It is normal to spontaneously, but after listening to your description, it comes from your shoulders and is very moving. I am afraid it is "evil touch". There are many evil ways in the world, such as fighting the gods and jumping to the gods, which arise from this (it turns out that Yun Fei also knows fighting the gods). Fortunately, you are not deeply involved in the devil, don't worry. If this is still the case tonight, don't worry about it, I will help you."

...

The mind is at silence, the breath is subtle and non-existent, the mind is nothing, and the mind is everywhere, and the movement and touch are activated from both shoulders in concentration and stillness, and the whole body is swaying and unable to suppress itself. This is the feeling of meditating that night. At this moment, a vague sound of chanting came from behind my ears. I was sitting behind the wall, and behind the wall is Yun Fei's dormitory next door. Listening to this sound is from Yun Fei. The low chanting sound is extremely clear in my ears. Although I can't understand any of the words, I feel like the sound of the Sanskrit sound from outside the sky. Listening to the central feeling is extremely quiet. In this tranquility, my body's movements have quietly stopped, and my eyes are covered by a layer of white light.

This white light gradually arises, like a harmonious holy realm, bathing me in it. In this realm, my mind is extremely stable, and I naturally feel a sense of happiness. I only feel that there is no discomfort or uneasy around me. In this area of happiness, a sense of joy flows out of my heart, like the ice and snow in midsummer, like the warm stove in the severe winter, which cannot be described or expressed. In the light in front of me, the scenery becomes clear. My eyes are slightly closed, and everything in the dormitory is in front of me, and even the walls around are no longer an obstacle. The entire dormitory building and the entire campus are still visible, and a delicate world...

...

"Light, joy, joy, and the merits of the heavenly eyes. You are amazing enough! You are worthy of being born with supernatural powers." This was the next dusk. Feng Junzi listened to me and said with neither yin nor yang.

I was still very excited at that time. I didn't notice that when Feng Junzi mentioned the word "Sky Eye", he did not use "supernatural powers" but "merits". I also described the feeling of happiness and joy when I entered a meditation yesterday. This is something I have never experienced in my life. It is simply wonderful! As I spoke, I found that Feng Junzi's expression was wrong, his eyes became more and more serious, and he frowned and stared at me. I also felt that he was strange, and stopped the question and asked, "What's wrong? Is there something wrong?"

Feng Junzi shook his head with a stern face: "There is nothing wrong! I have to congratulate you. But Shi Ye, are you hiding something from me? When did that boy Shang Yunfei interfere? Didn't you tell me?"

"Feng Junzi, how did you know that Yun Fei intervened? Yun Fei told me not to tell you." I felt embarrassed to hide it from Feng Junzi.

Feng Junzi asked back, "How did I know? I'll know it as soon as you say it. The state of concentration you just mentioned is not what Zhuangzi said, "sitting forgot" at all, it is clearly the "first meditation" of Buddhism. There are many states of regulating the mind and entering tranquility. Outsiders seem to meditate, and the difference is too big. The first level of the four meditations and eight concentrations, and the joy of concentration is the first meditation. I don't believe that you have proved it yourself. In addition to Yun Fei's fake little lama, can anyone teach you? Shang Yunfei has taught you what you should teach you, and you'd better say it carefully."

Feng Junzi asked me this question, and Yun Fei asked me not to tell Feng Junzi, but Feng Junzi saw through it. I hesitated for a moment and replied: "Yun Fei taught me 'stopping the mind and following the breath' and 'seven-segment sitting methods'. He told me that the mind requires the coordination of breath and body adjustment."

Feng Junzi sneered: "I thought he would tell you the "State of the Path to Enlightenment" to you, which turned out to be the mental method of Tiantai Sect. Since this kid intervenes, he still wants to hide his own private life!" As he said that, he sat cross-legged. The body method of sitting was exactly the same as the "Seven-Section Method" taught by Yun Fei.

I widened my eyes and asked, "Feng Junzi, you can do this seven-segmented way of sitting, so why didn't you teach me earlier?"

Feng Junzi: "The practice of meditation and contemplation in Buddhism is of course different from the practice of alchemy. There is a natural procedure for the introduction of alchemy. It is not time to teach you yet. Oh—forget it, this is nothing. Buddhist meditation is not an evil path. I have refining essence into qi from meditation, and collecting medicine and returning to the furnace. Although I have never heard of anyone trying it, I don't think it is impossible. In two days, I will teach you the foundation-building skills of alchemy."
