(Preface: Which event is more likely to happen if you plant flowers with intention or plant willows without intention? In fact, only plant flowers with intention can plant willows without intention. The content of the next few chapters may be boring to read, because I used a long paragraph to describe the protagonist's experience of exploring before the beginning of the Taoist practice. If you only come from the perspective of novels, this article can be mentioned in one sentence. However, from the perspective of "Danshu", I still want to introduce it as much as possible to make it closer to the possibility of reality. Friends who like to read the plot can skip it.)

"Lu Xun said that Zhuangzi is the best article of the pre-Qin philosophers." Feng Junzi ignored my astonished expression and talked to himself. What does this have to do with Lu Xun? The more I listened, the more confused I became, the more I was, the more I was confused, the more I was, the more excited Feng Junzi said: "Zhuangzi was profound and difficult to understand. Fortunately, the book I bought was a comparison of vernacular. If you can't understand it, you can read the vernacular translation later. But I want to tell you that many of the translated things are wrong. You need to understand the real meaning yourself. I don't expect you to read this book thoroughly. You just need to read the formula. I have folded the markings..."

I opened this book "Zhuangzi". The book has made Feng Junzi very old. There are many places with crooked "annotations". Some unknown characters are marked with pinyin. You can tell at a glance that it is Feng Junzi's handwriting. What's more interesting is that some places in the original text were stamped with a fork, and then other words were written below. It seems that Feng Junzi thought it was the wrong print of the book, so he changed it by himself. The markings have been folded, and there are three paragraphs in total:

The first paragraph is in the chapter "Human World". "Yan Hui said, 'I have no way to go, so I dare to ask the direction.' Zhongni said, 'I will talk about it, if I have a heart and do it, it will be easy to be evil? If it is changed, it is not suitable for Gao Tian.' Yan Hui said, 'I am poor in my family, but I have not drunk alcohol or eat meat for several months. In this way, can I vegetarianism be fast?' He said, 'This is a vegetarianism for sacrifice, not a heart and fast.' Hui said, 'I dare to ask about the heart and fast.' Zhongni said, 'If you have a will, you don't listen to it and listen to it with your heart, and listen to it with your heart and keep it with your spirit! Listen to the ears, and the heart stops with your heart and keep it with your talisman. The qi is empty and the object is empty. Only the Tao gathers and empty is Xinqi.'"

The second paragraph is in the "Great Master". "It is also easy to tell the sages about their talents by using the way of a sage. I still keep it and tell it. After meeting the sun, I can be able to go beyond the world; after entering the world, I will be able to go beyond the world, and after seven days, I will be able to go outside the world; after entering the outside world, I will be able to go outside the world, and after entering the world, I will be able to go outside the world, and after entering the world, I will be able to go outside the world after seven days, I will be able to go outside the world after nine days, and after growing out, I will be able to go outside the world. After growing out, I will be able to go outside the world. After growing out, I will be able to go outside the world. After growing out, I will be able to go outside the world. After growing out, I will be able to go outside the world. After growing out, I will be able to go outside the world. When I am a sakura, I will be able to go inside the world. It is called cherry blossoms and then be able to go inside the world."

The third paragraph is also in the "Great Master". "Yan Hui said, 'What does it mean?' said, 'What does it mean?' said, 'I forgot benevolence and righteousness.' said, 'It's OK, but it', 'I forgot benevolence and righteousness.' said, 'I forgot benevolence and righteousness.' said, 'I forgot benevolence and music.' said, 'I forgot benevolence and music.' said, 'I forgot be enough.' said, 'I forgot be enough.' said, 'What does it mean?' said, 'I forgot be able to be like this?' said, 'I forgot be able to be like this.', 'I forgot be able to be like this.', 'I forgot be able to be like this.', 'I forgot be able to be like this.', 'I forgot be able to be like this.', 'I forgot be able to be like this.', 'I forgot be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be able to be

When I was flipping through the book, Feng Junzi was still talking: "Have you heard of the three Taoist sutras? "Laozi" is called "Tao Te Ching", "Zhuangzi" is called "Nanhua Sutra", and "Liezi" is called "Qingxu Sutra". It is more suitable for regulating the mind, but Zhuangzi is more suitable. Introducing meditation and practice, many people pay attention to starting with regulating the body, then regulating the breath, and finally regulating the mind. We are not monks, so we don't talk about any rituals, but start directly from regulating the mind. This is the right way..."

"Auntie?" I had to interrupt Feng Junzi: "Wait, is this "Zhuangzi"? Why are there two paragraphs in the place where you mark the line that are conversations between Confucius and Yan Hui? This is also a mantra? Or you can just give me a copy of "The Analects of Confucius".

Feng Junzi glared at me and wanted to see a monster: "What do you want to do in the Analects of Confucius? What's wrong with Confucius' words? From "Xinzhai" to "Yingning" and then to "Sitting Forget", there is no problem? You have a view of the essay before you even get started. Who did you learn it from? Each method has its own formula. I'm too lazy to make up those rumors. Zhuangzi's articles are so good, it's a pity not to borrow them! In fact, the formula is just a confirmation. It's not possible to have a formula alone, but you also need a mental method. The mental method you want to learn now is also very simple, listen to it..."

The "mind method" mentioned by Feng Junzi is indeed very simple. He asked me to take two hours before going to bed every day to neither sleep nor to think. Feng Junzi told me: Once a person calms down, many distracting thoughts will arise, and it is impossible to force them down. All kinds of thoughts can be there, but don't think about it. For example, you may suddenly think of what the teacher is talking about or how to do the questions, or think of someone, but you cannot think about what the person is doing or what you have to do with this person. You can have distracting thoughts, but your consciousness cannot follow your thoughts. In short, it is like a cup of muddy water in a quiet room, allowing the water to naturally settle.

After hearing this, I couldn't help asking: "Isn't this just being stupid?"

"Day?" Feng Junzi almost shouted, "This is different from daze. You can't dream with your eyes open. You must stay awake and not be drowsy! You can see but not see, and you can hear but not listen. First, you must be 'can see', 'can hear', and then experience 'not seeing', 'not listening'. Only you can find the subtleties of it yourself, and others cannot tell you. As for the posture, you can do whatever you want, and you can breathe..."

I asked again, "How long will I have to last?"

Feng Junzi: "No one knows it, you will know it yourself when you reach the point. But I don't have time to wait too long. Since Zhuangzi said it very clearly in the book, I will give you nineteen days."

...

Feng Junzi said a big trick, but I still think it's just a daze. Just be dazed. So I embarked on the "daily" journey every midnight. Feng Junzi told me that the posture was casual, but if I lay down, it would be difficult not to fall asleep. If I stood for two hours, it would be enough to stand, so I could only sit. In the middle of the night, my classmates were asleep, and I couldn't sit on a stool, which would scare my roommates at night, so my only choice was - to sit cross-legged on the bed. I don't know how to sit cross-legged on me. I can only recall the postures of the "heroes" practicing in martial arts films and TV shows, and pretended to sit cross-legged on the bed.

It’s easy to say, but it’s very difficult to do it. The first problem is not that my mind is messy, but that I can’t hold on for two hours at all. Fortunately, I have been very careful since I was a kid. I have been sitting for two hours on the first day, and I kept yawning during class the next day. Why? I didn’t sleep well! Feng Junzi saw it, but said lightly that he was not natural and he felt that he was not sleepy. He would not feel sleepy when he relaxed and calmed.

On the third day, I was not only sleepy, but also felt sore waist and legs. Feng Junzi said that I didn’t have to sit stiffly all the time, so I could relax occasionally and do it step by step. He asked me to try how to relax himself, but he didn’t care about anything. But it was strange. I gradually found that the posture of sitting upright in Zhongzheng seemed very tired, but the longer the time, the easier it felt. I was not used to crossing my legs, so it felt much better to fold the quilt into a square and put it under my butt.

A week passed and I didn’t feel any other changes. But there are two changes that are not easy to detect. One is that my waist and legs are no longer sore, and the other is that I am not sleepy during the day. No one explained why to me. I thought my waist and legs are not sore, but it may be a habit, and the result of exercise. As for the daytime energy, it is the influence of meditation. When I was sitting in meditation, I gradually stopped drowsy, became very awake, and felt keen. I could hear extremely subtle sounds in my ears, and even the sound of cars on the road far away outside the campus. When I closed my eyes, I actually saw everything in the dormitory in a hazy way. Of course, this may not be a magical power, because I have forgotten whether to open my eyes or close my eyes. Feng Junzi said that I was simple by nature and had not been contaminated (I am not a vegetable!), so "Xinzhai" is not a difficult thing for me.

While I was in a daze every night, I was not idle during the day, so I tried to get close to those three "experts". Some things were difficult before I did it, but once I did it with my heart, it was often natural.

It was not difficult to get close to the old man who practiced Tai Chi. I first met Feng Junzi's elementary school class teacher, the old lady named Cui. Every morning, I mixed in a bunch of old men and women to learn Tai Chi. A bunch of old men and women are very curious about me, the new "child", and I am very enthusiastic. I teach me one by one with one move. I can quickly keep up with the rhythm. The old man's surname is Gao, and he is a retired cadre. Since I have known that Mr. Gao is different for a long time, I try to stand beside him when he is doing boxing, and gradually discovered a little bit of wonder: whenever I stand behind Mr. Gao and follow his movements, I feel very relaxed and comfortable. Every move and gesture is driven by an involuntary force, which is much better than doing radio gymnastics at school. As for the innate vitality that Feng Junzi said, I don't have the nerve to ask.

The fortune teller at the bridgehead was named Zhang, and I later called him Mr. Zhang. Mr. Zhang was very interesting. Every day at noon, I pretended to watch the fun and went to see him tell fortunes, but he didn't care about me and did his own thing. Later, I became familiar with each other and nodded to me occasionally to say hello, and it seemed to be saying, "Are you here again?"

After a few days of going there, I found that the place in Phoenix Bridgehead is messy, and people throw garbage like melon, peel, fruit and core every day. This gentleman loves cleaning. When I went there, I found that the surroundings had been carefully cleaned, and it must have been cleaned by his own. So every morning, after practicing Tai Chi, before Mr. Zhang came out to set up a stall, I did another thing. I took the broom and watering can in the classroom, and first cleaned the vicinity of Mr. Zhang's stall, and then sprinkled a layer of water (the dust on the side of the road was heavier).

After a few more days, I had just finished sweeping the floor that morning and was sprinkling water. Mr. Zhang had already come over with a guy's business. He had never been here so early. Seeing me sprinkling water here, Mr. Zhang smiled and said, "I said who is so kind every day? It turns out it's you, thank you."

When I passed by at noon, Mr. Zhang didn't say anything, but handed me a small stool and asked me to sit beside him. So we got along and chatted together when there was no one. Mr. Zhang didn't ask why I came to see him tell fortune every day, but talked to me about everything from all over the world. His knowledge was very profound, and in comparison, the little thing in my belly could not keep up with him. He heard that his indifference should be a very knowledgeable person. I don't understand why such a person makes a living by setting up a stall to tell fortune every day? I asked him, and he always smiled without answering.

As for the owner of the noodle shop, the most dramatic thing I met with her. I ate wontons for a week in the noodle shop, but I said less than three words to her except ordering and checking out. A week later, an accidental opportunity came to her home.

It was dusk and it was not dark. I had eaten a bowl of wontons and two noodle cakes. I was about to pay the bill and go out. A cart came outside the door and pulled a cart of honeycomb coal. At that time, liquefied steam in Wucheng was not popular yet. A small noodle restaurant in the back kitchen was still burning honeycomb coal. The coal delivery was not a car, but a local human resource chariot. The driver was not lucky today and slipped on the road, and his hands were bleeded. The boss found out when he paid, so he quickly brought sand cloth and clean water from behind and asked the driver to clean and bandage the wound.

The coachman was not seriously injured, but this car of coal was in trouble. In the past, the coachman moved the coal to the kitchen one by one. The boss paid two dollars more, but today it was not possible. When the coachman was washing his hands, the boss frowned at the car of coal, and now she could only move it by herself. I took all this in my eyes, maybe it was because of my mercy, because I could never imagine that the boss's white and tender hands were associated with the car of black honeycomb coal. Naturally, I stood up and said, "Boss, I will help you move this car of coal."

"Oh, how can you be so embarrassed? Please trouble you, a student." The proprietress didn't expect me to help, so she refused quickly.

"You're welcome, I came from the mountains, and this little job is nothing." As I said that, I rolled up my sleeves and went to the cart to move coal. I lifted eight honeycomb coal at a time, which felt a little heavy. The boss's wife saw that I had already done something, and didn't say anything, but quickly opened the kitchen door. After I finished transporting the truck of coal, it was already half an hour later. Although I was not very tired, I was sweating. The boss's wife thanked me repeatedly and brought me water and towels. The towel was probably owned by the boss's wife, and the smell was very good.

This is how I met the boss and I, and later we became more and more familiar with each other. The boss's surname was Han, and I called her Sister Han with a shameless face. Sister Han is a foreigner and has been here for three years. I have always wanted to ask how old she is, but I have never had the nerve to ask because I heard Feng Junzi say it is impolite to ask about the beautiful girl. Unconsciously, I became familiar with her after a while, and had more opportunities to come into contact with her, and there were more things to do. In addition to moving honeycomb coal, I often helped Sister Han buy flour (that thing is also quite heavy, and the noodle shop is used in large quantities, and I have to buy it once in two days. When moving, I often stick a layer of white powder on my body to dirty my clothes, which is not a suitable job for Sister Han to do), clean the table, boil water and so on, and occasionally help her to mix the noodles with dough when she has time (the big dough in the noodle shop is a strong job).

Sister Han likes that I can help her. One day I moved the flour to the kitchen and my hair was covered with a layer of white. She said while dusting my hair, "I really lack a person like you in the noodle restaurant. Sometimes I can't be busy with it. You just go to school next to me, or come to work. I'm a small business, and I don't pay much money, but you'll eat here in the future and don't have to go to the school cafeteria. Otherwise, I'm embarrassed to always help me!"

I was unintentionally planting willows, and there was such a good thing! I was polite for a long time and said that helping was the right thing to do. I still didn’t want Sister Han’s salary. I still had to go to class and couldn’t always help her here. Later, I made a fool of myself. When I had time, I would help in the noodle shop, and I would not pay for any wages when I had time. But I didn’t always eat three meals a day, but I just went to have dinner often. In fact, I ate three meals a day in Sister Han’s noodle shop, so Sister Han wouldn’t mind, but I felt embarrassed. I had to go to Tai Chi in the morning and fortune telling at noon. I could only help at one o’clock in the evening and on weekends. I couldn’t take too much advantage.

As the saying goes, there is nothing difficult in the world. If you are not afraid of thieves, you are afraid of thieves. If you are not afraid of stealing, you will always think of some things. After half a month, the three "experts" mentioned by Feng Junzi have gotten along well. I helped in Sister Han's noodle restaurant. I became a friend of my age who was always talking about indifferent ages with Mr. Zhang, and I often listened to him about some tricks of fortune telling. As for Mr. Gao, I took the initiative to teach me a new set of boxing.

Mr. Gao heard that I came here to practice Tai Chi because I was weak, and took the initiative to teach me a set of boxing techniques that are said to be able to strengthen the body. I don’t know what this set of boxing is called, but it was taught by a comrade Gao before the liberation of the comrade Gao. The movements are not too complicated, there are five sets in total, and it takes ten minutes to practice one set. Mr. Gao told me that one set every time I practice one set. When Mr. Gao taught me this set of boxing, I realized that practicing boxing also requires the adjustment of mind and qi, and just movement is far from enough. This set of boxing techniques actually has the mental method and the skill of entering into tranquility in movement. As for the adjustment of mind and tranquility, it is similar to what Feng Junzi said. The difference is that the movements also guide the qi and tranquility in different parts of the body to operate. However, I cannot understand what the qi and tranquility are. Mr. Gao said that there is no need to force it, and it will naturally occur when the skill reaches its level. He told me that even the route of qi and tranquility is not necessary. After being proficient, the qi opportunities will naturally be activated.

After I learned boxing, I went back to demonstrate it to Feng Junzi from beginning to end. Feng Junzi shook his head while watching it and said that it didn't look like a boxing technique. The next day he came to me again and said excitedly that I found it in the book that I practiced the Five Animals Play. It is said that Hua Tuo imitated the movements of five animals, but Feng Junzi said that the Five Animals Play I practiced was different from the current Hua Tuo's Five Animals Play. If you practiced this way, you can indeed strengthen your body, but it may be too early to cultivate your innate vitality. I think it is too early. Mr. Gao started practicing in his thirties, and he is already seventy-eight this year!

...

I have become a pleasure to get along with three "experts", but I still have no understanding of what Zhuangzi said about "Ying Ning" and "Sitting Forget". I can now understand what "extreme emptiness and quietness" is, but I don't know what the state should be. Feng Junzi didn't teach me anything during this period, but Shang Yunfei always admired me a little. One night when he returned to the dormitory after self-study, Yunfei stopped me on the road and asked, "Are you learning Taoism with Feng Junzi? What did he teach you?"

Feng Junzi didn't tell me these things that could not be told to others. Besides, from my opinion, he didn't teach me anything except a copy of "Zhuangzi". So I replied: "I do want to learn from him, but he didn't teach me anything."

"How is this possible? I can see it all. Do you think you meditate every night? Everyone in your dormitory told me." Yun Fei's tone obviously didn't believe it.
