63 Dragon Spirit

Tick, tick...

The sound of dripping water lurking in the darkness continues, and the humid breath spreads in this dark space. The "fighting beasts" hidden in it are quietly dormant in the dark for countless years, as if waiting for the former master to appear again.

Over the past few hundred years, the storm of the King's Landing City above has changed, civil strife, atrocities, resistance, riots, assassinations... Countless events and this huge city have quietly staged, but none of them have affected this long forgotten place.

It just seems to be a little "busy" lately.

There was no difference between day and night underground. At some moment, a creaking sound suddenly appeared in an unknown corner. It was the sound of old wooden boards being lifted up. Then, a faint sound of footsteps appeared and became closer.

A flash of fire suddenly illuminated the dark and dark underground space and exposed the "wild beast" in the dark to the people coming.

The bones were ferocious, and the oval eye sockets were silently staring at the darkness. The white and red body like jade made the visitor subconsciously touch his hands. However, when his palm approached, it suddenly shrank back.

“It’s so hot…”

A slight sigh followed.

It is obvious that normal people have no problem touching, so why is it so hot to touch?

The hot feeling when touched was like a red sword blank, with wild irritability revealed in the sharpness.

Charles tried to persevere, but the pain that seemed to be thorough in the soul made him unable to persevere for long.

He stood quietly in front of the hideous giant mouth and looked at it carefully in the fire. The neck bone behind the head was as sharp as jagged teeth, but most of the skeleton was hidden in the darkness, which was unreal.

"This thing must have been cool in life." Talking to himself, Charles finally had to lift the torch toward the next one.

However, it's the same as the problems I've encountered before.

There are a total of nineteen keels here. The largest one cannot be touched. Touch down one by one. The smallest one is the same, which makes Charles feel helpless.

He had thought of wrapping his bones to isolate the temperature; yet the heat that seemed to penetrate any substance remained the same, as if it reached the soul.

If you can't hold this thing, you will not be able to take it out of this world. If you can't take it out, you will not be able to use these things to make a profit...

While thinking about this problem secretly, Charle had a headache.

But before he could figure out a solution, a sudden flash of inspiration in his mind, he thought of another question. "The church has no way, so what about other spellcasters? Will there be a way?"

What he was thinking was the precarious cheap "raising girl" outside. Although he had "escaped" to another world at this time, the burden on his heart was still extremely heavy, making him feel as if he was powerless in everything he did.

This is a kind of helplessness towards fate, and it is also a kind of sadness for the dead rabbit and fox who have passed away by others.

The monk Ossi promised to ask people in the church for help, but he did not mention the matter of extending his life. Charles did not ask in detail, but when he went out, he asked other monks, and only one result was achieved--"No one in the church in Pita could do this."

He didn't think much about it at that time, because in his opinion, the church seemed to be the largest extraordinary force in the entire city, but is this really the case?

The church has no choice, but others really have no choice?

Or, there is nothing else, what about others?

So in the end, Charles collected a lot of bad things that others thought were not good at. At the beginning, although the "quality" seemed a bit poor, it was completely enough for him to use it. He was still much richer and could not get it at once.

"If you need this thing, there should be quite a few dragon caves on the Reneshills hills in the city."

A knight who was assisting aside proposed.

"Dragon's Hole?" After hearing this, Charles subconsciously thought of the strange situation that happened when he entered the city.

"The Dragon's Cave was the place where the Targaryen family raised dragons in captivity back then, and it has been abandoned for a long time."

The Knight said this, but Charles was busy selling the keel bones at this time, so he had no time to pay attention to the others.

...

The next day,

The world in front of the door.

Charles, who took out a large bag of bones from the Song of Ice and Fire, came to the watch shop, hurriedly entered the door, and saw that in addition to the neatly dressed old man, there was also a "black uncle" who had met before.

"I've been waiting for you for a long time." Seeing the visitor approaching, the black uncle with small eyes grinned at Charles.

"Wait for me?" Charles couldn't help but look at the boss here, as if asking.

But before the old man could speak, the guy named Eddie spoke again.

"I heard you need help, so I stayed here and waited for you for a while."

"Of course, I brought this by the way."

As he said that, he placed a stack of booklets on the table.
