Chapter 4 In the Mirror(1/2)
Section 1
Since the night of Halloween, they have faced the monsters together, Harry, Ron and Hermione have become real friends. When the professors rushed over and saw a messy bathroom that turned into two titans' corpses. The three of them were roaring in anger and trembling with Harry, they reacted differently. Professor Quirrell's face was pale and sat on the toilet and gasped. Snape carefully examined the monster's corpse, and then looked at Soren with a weird expression. Professor McGonagall didn't say much, but her suppressed anger could be seen from her tightly pursed lips and frowning brows.
Unexpectedly, Hermione lies to the professors and takes all the responsibility for the matter to him, while Harry, Ron and Sauron came here for the sake of him - as a result, Hermione was deducted five points, while the other three each won five points for their respective academy.
"You're sure Sauron is your twin brother--" Hermione asked Harry at the dining table in Gryffindor.
"What does it mean?" Harry didn't understand what Hermione meant. "It's obvious that it's not. We look exactly the same." Harry's tone was a little unhappy.
"Oh no, I mean, is he really as big as you?" Hermione said. "I have looked at a lot of books in the library these two days, and I found that the magic your brother uses is not something that students can learn in school."
"What, maybe I learned it from some adult wizard." Ron muttered while eating the jam pie.
"This is impossible, Ron. Some spells are not something you can use by knowing how to chant the spell, but they also need powerful magic power." Hermione looked at Ron like an idiot, and then she lowered her voice and said, "And I suspect that the spell Soren used to deal with the monsters that night was black magic."
"Hiss-" Ron gasped.
"Black magic?" Harry looked at both of them in confusion, "What kind of professor Quirrell was talking about in class?"
"Yes, that is evil magic. The purpose of their creation is to kill and destroy, and to achieve ulterior motives. Only evil black wizards will use them, and they are enemies of justice." Hermione said as if he endorsed, and he saw Ron and Harry widened his eyes, "Don't you ever read books, the 1830 "The Magician Convention" is clearly stated."
"The evil black wizard—" Harry murmured, "like Voldemort."
"Don't say that name." Ron said in fear.
Harry didn't say anything, turned to look at Slytherin's dining table, not seeing Soren.
"Are you okay, Harry?" Hermione said carefully. She noticed that Harry's face looked a little ugly and comforted: "I mean, you don't need to do this. In fact, this doesn't mean anything. Besides, Sauron saved us, right?"
"And Sauron is really cool." Ron said heartlessly, not noticing Hermione glared at him.
Harry didn't say anything, just nodded, but his face turned much better.
...
"It seems you're very hurt, Professor." Sauron said, with a mocking expression on his face, "Do you want help?"
"Thank you for your kindness, Mr. Porter, I don't think I need your help." Snape said coldly, his face ugly, not knowing whether it was because of pain or anger, and after saying that, he turned around and left, but after walking a few steps, he stopped again-
"Professor Dumbledore wants to see you, Mr. Potter." He strides away after saying that.
Sauron stared at his back for a while, then turned around and left.
Sauron walked through two gates and walked along the marble corridor to the third floor. A stone monster was erected in the middle of the empty corridor. Sauron walked to the monster and said, "Ice lemon juice."
The monster separated to both sides, revealing a moving spiral staircase. Sauron walked up the staircase and came to an oak door, knocking on it three times. The door opened, and inside it was Dumbledore's office.
It was a spacious, beautiful circular room full of funny little sounds. On the table with long legs, there were many strange silverware, whirling, and squirting out a small stream of smoke. The walls were full of portraits of former men and women, who were all snoring gently in their respective frames. There was also a huge table in the room with claw-shaped feet. Dumbledore sat behind the large table, and saw Soren, and he said in a cheerful tone, "Welcome, Mr. Porter, I didn't expect you to come so quickly, what should you drink--well, how about wine?"
"Forget it, I'll have to go to class later." Sauron said with a smile, "Is there anything wrong with asking me for?"
"Oh yes, I hope Mr. Potter can do me a little favor, I think it will be simple with your ability."
"Let me guess, is it about the Philosopher's Stone?"
"I have to say that nothing can be hidden from you, Mr. Porter." Dumbledore said with a smile.

The next morning, the weather was clear and cold. The restaurant was filled with the tempting smell of grilled sausages. Everyone was looking forward to a wonderful Quidditch match, chatting happily, and even the Slytherins who were always quiet during meals were no exception.
Harry seemed very nervous and couldn't even eat the meal. Ron and Hermione kept persuading him. Finally, with Sauron's comfort, he barely ate a large piece of butter bread and a grilled sausage.
"Believe me, my dad was an excellent golfer back then. I think you will perform very well." Sauron comforted, "I believe you must have inherited his excellent talent."
"Yes, Dad is an excellent golfer, but you still don't even understand the broom," said Harry.
Sauron smiled helplessly, and Harry's mood improved a lot.
The afternoon game was as exciting as everyone expected. Harry flew well. After he flew into the sky with his broom, he looked quite good. If Higgins, a player who was not Slytherin just now, was interested in rushing, he might have caught the thief.
Gryffindor was obviously dissatisfied with Higgins' behavior and shouted loudly, while Mrs. Hodge made a penalty and asked Gryffindor to send a free kick next to the post.
Suddenly, Sauron discovered that Harry was not in normal condition. His broom seemed to be out of control, shaking, twisting, and running around wildly, as if he wanted to throw Harry off from above. Sauron soon realized that someone was using a bad curse on Harry's broom, and the man's strength was obviously not low, so this ruled out the possibility of what the Slytherin students did. Sauron stared at Harry tightly and recited the cracked curse. The effect was very obvious. The broom no longer flew around, but it was shaking violently. But this was still not enough, and Harry could not sit on the broom safely.
At this time, Sauron heard someone behind him chanting a low voice. Sauron could not turn around, but he could hear that this was Snape's voice - he was doing the same thing as Sauron, trying to remove the evil curse from unknown where it came from. The effect was obvious. With Snape's help, Harry's broom stopped shaking. Harry could climb back to the broom, but obviously he still couldn't control it, and the broom stopped moving. Sauron breathed a sigh of relief, at least Harry was safe now, but immediately, Snape screamed - "Damn it, why is this on fire!"
Sauron immediately became nervous again, worried that Harry's broom would lose control again without Snape's help, but to his surprise, Harry's broom seemed to have returned to normal - Harry controlled the broom to fly smoothly.
Finally, Harry ended the game with a beautiful dive grabbing the Golden Snitch.
After the game, Sauron immediately left the stands, but he did not find Harry in the chaotic crowd. Sauron guessed that he was probably with Hager, so he walked towards Hager's cottage by the Forbidden Forest.
Sauron knocked on the wooden door of Hagrid's cottage, and Hagrid's voice came from inside - "I'm here, no, back, back teeth..."
The door opened, and Sauron saw Harry, Ron, Hermione and Hagrid all in the room. Sauron noticed that Hermione's expression was not very natural when she looked at him. Hagrid was very enthusiastic and welcomed Sauron into the room.
Hagrid closed the door of the cottage and turned around and said, "Harry, what happened to you just now? I saw that something was wrong with your broom."
"It was Snape's doing it," Ron said. "Hermione and I saw it. He was chanting a spell on Harry's broom, muttering in his mouth, his eyes staring at him."
"Nonsense," Hager said, "it's too ridiculous. He can't hurt Harry."
"But this is the fact that I can recognize the evil spirits with bad intentions. I have read all the introductions about them in the book! You must contact them with their eyes, and Snape's eyes did not blink, I saw it! And then I set a fire behind him and interrupted his casting, and Harry's broom was normal."
Sauron raised his eyebrows and turned to Hermione, "You lit the fire on Snape."
Hermione nodded unnaturally, not looking at Sauron.
"Then I should be glad you chose not me." Sauron said in a strange tone.
"What does he mean, Hermione?" Harry asked.
"Well, I saw that Sauron was there just now, doing the same thing as Snape." Hermione said hesitantly. Harry, Ron looked unbelievable.
"Well, Sauron, I guess you didn't chant Harry, right?" Ron said carefully.
Sauron glanced at them and said, "No, I'm chanting a mantra to Harry."
The other three showed unbelievable expressions on their faces.
"I'm chanting a mantra, but not an evil mantra. There is indeed someone chanting a mantra. I'm trying to break that mantra," Sauron said calmly. When he saw what Hermione wanted to say, he spoke again: "And Snape didn't chant a mantra, he just sat next to me. I know very well that he is protecting Harry. If he and I want to harm Harry, Harry can't insist on you doing those small moves."
Hermione's face turned red quickly and her expression was very awkward.
"Look, I'll say, it's impossible that Snape did it, and he has no reason to do it." Haig said in a muffled voice.
Harry, Ron and Hermione exchanged glances.
"I also found something about Snape," Harry told Hagrid. "On Halloween, he wanted to pass through the big dog with three heads. It bit him. We thought he wanted to steal something the big dog guarded. Hagrid put down the teapot heavily."
"How could you know Lu Wei of the three heads?" he asked.
"Three heads Lu Wei?"
"Yeah—it's mine—I bought it from a Greek guy I met in the hotel last year—I lent it to Dumbledore to guard-" "What?" Harry asked anxiously.
"Okay, this is not something you should care about," Sauron said coldly, "This has nothing to do with you, do you understand?"
"But Snape wants to steal it."
"Nonsense," Hager said, "Snape is Hogwarts' teacher, and he will never do that."
"Then why did he go to that big dog?" Hermione asked loudly.
"I said it has nothing to do with you!" Sauron said impatiently, "I said that excessive curiosity will kill you."
"But……"
"I tell you, you're wrong!" said Hagrid. "Snape is Hogwarts' teacher, and he will never do that, just as he will never want to kill a student! Now, all three of you listen to me - you are interfering with things that have nothing to do with you. It's very dangerous. Forget the big dog, forget what it is guarding, this is between Professor Dumbledore and Nicolomai-"
"Ahhh!" said Harry, "That's what it means to involve a man named Nicole-Lemay, right?" Hagrid was furious, and he was angry with himself.
Sauron glared at Hager coldly.
Section 3
Christmas is coming, and everyone can't wait to look forward to the holiday. Most of the Slytherins decided to go home for Christmas, while Sauron signed on the list of students who stayed to celebrate the holiday. He originally wanted to go back to his old house to celebrate the holiday, but the conversation with Dumbledore that day gave up his thoughts.
Slytherin's lounge was warm, with Soren and Ibikos sitting on the sofa by the fireplace, with a bottle of red wine and some snacks on the small table in front of them.
Ibikos raised his glass and took a sip of the wine, closed his eyes and savored it quietly. After a long time, he opened his eyes and said, "The best, this wine is not to be missed."
Sauron shook his goblet gently, and he looked at the cup in his hand. The red wine in the cup reflected a strange and gorgeous color under the silver flames in the fireplace.
"Ibikos, what do you desire the most?" Sauron said quietly.
"What I longed for the most? Well--" Ibikos was slightly surprised, "This is a difficult problem. So many people have never figured out what they really want in their entire lives."
"Yes, this is really a troublesome issue." Sauron smiled bitterly, "Forget it, it doesn't make any sense if you don't talk about this."
"Okay. By the way, I'll set off to go home tomorrow. Do I need to prepare for that matter?"
"Forget it, it's not the time yet, they're not ready yet," Sauron said with his eyes closed.
“As you wish.”
Meanwhile, Harry, Ron and Hermione were worried about who Nicole Lemay was.
Since Hagrid said that day, Harry and the other two have been looking for Nick Lemay's name in the book. Apart from that, they have no other way to figure out what Snape wants to steal? They dare not ask other professors, for fear of being noticed by Snape, and Hagrid and Sauron refused to tell them.
Hermione took out a list from her pocket, grinning at the topic and title he decided to look up. Seeing the dense list of books on the list, Harry and Ron couldn't help but sigh.
