Chapter 9 Personal grievances

When Michael walked out of the venue, Elizabeth had already driven the car to the door waiting for him. She opened the door of the back seat for the boss and said, "It doesn't seem that boring tonight, sir?"

"A little episode." Michael said calmly, as if he had just watched an improvised performance, not threatened by a madman wearing explosives, "It's no big deal."

"I think so."

Elizabeth sat back on the driver's seat and started the car into the main road.

"Then I'll send you back now?"

"No, go to the company first," said Michael. "You don't have to wait for me to go back first. I still have some things to deal with."

***

Osborne's residence, living room.

The night was already deep, and the huge house was a bit terrifying. There were no lights in all the rooms, and the only light source came from the fireplace in the living room. The flames were crackling, and the dim flames cast abstract shadows of furniture on the carpet and walls.

After finally getting rid of the annoying Spider-Man, the Green Demon returned here. He pulled off his mask in the living room and revealed Norman Osborn's hideous and angry face. He threw the evil ghost's mask on the dark red carpet with great emotion.

All things tonight didn't go as he expected. Because of the interference of the annoying spider-web head - he already knew it was Peter Parker's little boy - he failed to successfully solve his goal, they almost fought and leaped through the entire Manhattan area before he managed to get rid of the annoying wall-climbing bug. The worse part was that Michael Paso somehow seemed to know his true identity. Although he felt that there was no conclusive evidence that the Green Demon and Norman Osborne were the same person, this was enough to attract attention.

But how is this possible? He clearly turned into a green demon with the help of Oz's effect a day ago, and this was only his first move. And the laboratory where he injected Oz serum was blown into ruins by the rampage of the green demon on the spot. The insider was either dead or injured. The guy in the best condition was still unconscious in the intensive care unit. In this world, he should be the only one who knew that Norman Osborne had Oz injected with Oz.

Norman Osborn paced back and forth in the living room in annoyance.

Tonight, his son Harry Osborne spent the night at his classmate's house (which was actually the norm for Harry), and there was only Norman at the house all night, which was also an opportunity for him to move. What Michael Paso knew made the situation urgent. Maybe he should speed up the plan, maybe he should even take action again now and assassinate Michael Paso again.

Norman Osborne's action suddenly paused.

He suddenly turned his head and saw a tall black figure in the living room at some point. The shadow hidden under the black armor stood in the middle of the carpet in the living room. The firelight from the fireplace swayed and flashed on the shiny black armor. The deep blue light in the V-shaped eyepieces shone with the pressure like a mountain.

"Who are you?" Norman asked subconsciously.

There was no answer. The other party walked up and pushed his palm without saying a word. There was no move or any tricks. It was just such a dull push, but Norman, who had the reinforced reflex nerve, felt unavoidable. The strong and almost unreasonable arm strength poured on his upper armor like a mountain torrent, pushing Norman's entire body into the air uncontrollably, and rolled into the study like a green shell drilled through the wall and rolled into the study.

Michael walked into the study in a low body through the dusty holes on the walls.

"I understand," Norman got up in a mess, staring at the helmet with a vicious look with a V-shaped fluorescent look. "Did Paso send you here? Are you the brat's lackey?"

There was still no reply. The other party obviously looked like he was the type who only worked and didn't talk nonsense, and he had no intention of saying more with him.

Norman shook his hand and threw it out, and the special dart swirled around and cut two green trajectories in the air and hit Michael's helmet and armor on his chest, splashing out sparks. Norman rushed forward with a low growl, his left fist faded and his right fist hit. The enhancement of Oz serum gave him the ultimate arm strength close to twenty tons, and even reinforced concrete could not stop it.

Michael flashed left and right, lifting lightly to resolve the Green Demon's three consecutive attacks. Then he pressed his forearm before the Green Demon's fourth move was used, and raised his arm and elbow to hit the opponent's door. Norman took a solid steel elbow on the bridge of his nose, and immediately bleeding from his nose.

He roared like a wounded beast, lifting his leg and trying to kick it, but Michael stepped back his right foot that he had just lifted. Michael opened his five fingers and fired a shot at his abdomen. The 10% power pulse slammed violently on the armor on the green demon's abdomen, causing his body to rush into the air again, and the impact force penetrated his internal organs. His body smashed the bookshelf leaning against one wall, and rolled into the secret room hidden behind the bookshelf in the flying dust.

Yes, Norman Osborne has a secret room in his study. Since he turned into the Green Demon a day ago, he has stole his company's gliders and a batch of spare darts, bombs and other weapons, and secretly transferred them into this secret room as a stronghold for the Green Demon Operation.

Norman climbed up with difficulty and looked up viciously at the shadow slowly walking into the secret room. With the extreme cold pressure, Norman felt that his trachea seemed to be blocked. His body sitting on the ground subconsciously shrank back and hurriedly pressed a hidden remote control button on his wrist. The glider that was parked in the secret room was immediately activated, and he poked out his sharp knife as if he was summoned by his master and stabbed towards the door.

Michael turned his body, and a spiral kick hit the outside of the glider when he pressed him in front of him, which immediately destroyed its balance and pulled it aside. The glider intelligently changed the direction of the tail flame spurt to try to re-lock the target, but Michael only made a pulse cannon with a backhand blow, and the parts on fire were scattered all over the ground.

Michael's eyes returned to Norman.

Norman took the opportunity to leap over a messy silver tabletop and rolled to the side of the rack full of weapons. He stretched out his arms and grabbed a large pumpkin bomb from the rack, turned around and stared at Michael with a ferocious look.

"I don't know who you are, and think you're doing something," he said viciously, "but you will pay a heavy price for your courage to provoke the Green Devil!"

He exerted force with his arms, and seven or eight pumpkin bombs in his arms were thrown out at the same time. A strange green light shone out from each pumpkin's narrow eyes and strangely smiling mouth.

The green fire burst out in an instant, and the rapidly expanding fireball swallowed the black armor. The deafening explosion sounded mixed with the green demon's crazy twisted laughter.

But his smile froze on his face in less than a second.

The green fireball stopped for a moment when it expanded to its extreme, and then it shrank again as if it was rewindled. The dazzling fire light rotated like a vortex, and it was collected into a circular magic array with complex patterns at a speed visible to the naked eye. The magic array hung in Michael's hand like a 3D projection, and every line that formed it seemed to be burning.

Norman Osborne's smile disappeared, replaced by shock and fear.

"What the hell are you...?" he asked subconsciously.

Still no answer.

Michael made a "release" gesture with his right hand, and the magic circle began to rotate at high speed. The green fire that had just been absorbed spurted out of the magic circle like a surging wave. Norman Osborn widened his eyes and let out a "no" roar of shock, and then his whole body was completely swallowed by the ruthless flames with the roar.

***

In New Jersey, a long-deprived military camp, underground of a warehouse.

To this day, this place has been forgotten, and no one has stepped into this land for many years. But few people know that this barren military camp once gave birth to a great legend, and it was once the place where S.H.E.L.D. was founded, and a starting point.

Many years later, at this moment, a team of ASCH agents with live ammunition rushed into the military camp under the leadership of two level 7 agents, and found a secret elevator in an abandoned warehouse full of spider webs that was even powered. The elevator carried a whole team of ASCH agents straight down to the bottom of the building.

At a height of nine thousand meters, Nick Fury, who was in the floating carrier, watched the operation remotely with the help of the team's body camera. He saw the elevator doors open in front of the team, and a dark and quiet space suddenly came into his eyes. The incandescent lights lit up on their own like intelligence as the agents stepped in, illuminating a series of retro and old equipment. Countless machine parts operated together and sounded a low and dumb "buzzing". An old-fashioned operating table that seemed to come from the set of the movie set in the last century was placed in the middle of the room.

In the floating carrier, Deputy Director Hill next to Fury frowned and said, "These are just old antiques. Why do anyone hide such a bunch of old antiques in such a hidden space? What does this mean?"

Unlike her, Director Fury looked solemn, as if they were facing something huge.

"That means that guy is not lying." Nick Fury replied as if he was talking to himself, "and it also means that we may be facing the most difficult situation since ASUS was founded."
