23. Merlin. The King of Children [55/100](1/2)

Merlin walked back to the cabin with two cans of drinks. He saw the thin young man Harry Potter sitting on the sofa with some anxiety, looking around.

The child seemed to be very uncomfortable with the plane flying at high altitude, and a slight vibration would make him very upset.

Merlin walked forward, placed a can of drink in front of him, and sat on the sofa next to Harry, and said to Harry:

"Mr. Porter, I just talked to the pilot. We would stay in Canada for dozens of minutes and then head to New York. The trip took about 9 hours, so if you're tired, you can go to the room to rest first, or take a hot shower or something to relax."

"Muggle, I mean, is this the kind of planes that ordinary people take?"

Harry picked up the drink in front of him and took a sip. A strange expression appeared on his face. He looked left and right at the furnishings in the cabin. The young man asked curiously:

"This seems to be different from the cabin that Dali described to me. Shouldn't there be a lot of seats and a lot of passengers?"

"Oh, that's a civil flight."

Merlin explained:

"This is a S.H.E.L.D. business plane, which is only for agents who perform missions. With the Ministry of Magic paying attention to you, I dare not take you back to New York with a swagger, as it is too eye-catching."

"Speaking of this, Mr. Porter, is this your first time flying?"

"Um."

Harry nodded, and he reached out and pushed the black, round, quaint-style eyes he had with him, and he said to Merlin:

"I have been away from the farthest door from London to Hogwarts, but I took the train. I heard from Hagrid that the wizards didn't like the Muggles' technological products very much. Even the train to Hogwarts was decided to build after more than a dozen discussions by the Ministry of Magic."

"So that's the case?"

Merlin nodded in a clear understanding.

Although he is half a wizard, he has seen very limited wizards.

The wizards who were most in contact with him were Little Hermione and Mr. Arthur. Little Hermione was interested in everything new, while Mr. Arthur was very curious about the various technological products of the Muggles' world.

However, judging from Harry's answer, the wizarding world is still quite closed overall.

"How does that feel? Mr. Porter."

Merlin leaned against the sofa and chatted with Harry, in this way to relieve the young people's tension. He smiled and looked at Harry, and he said:

"Which feeling is better, sitting on a dozen tons of steel flying into the sky, or the feeling of flying on a broom?"

"Uh, broom."

Harry grabbed his hair, he looked around and said to Merlin:

"To be honest, Mr. Merlin, I'm sitting here, worried every minute that this steel-made plane wouldn't suddenly fall, especially when it took off just now, the terrible vibration made me very scared."

"Ha ha ha ha"

Merlin laughed kindly, and he took a drink and said to Harry:

"I was the same when I first took a plane. Let me think about it. It was three years ago, when I took a business plane like this, I went from New York to Europe, and then jumped down from an altitude of about 3,000 meters on the high seas."

Merlin reached out and made a jumping move, he said:

"It was a secret mission. My companion and I needed to jump into the sea from the flying plane, and there was a cargo ship waiting for us. It was my first long-distance flight and my first real parachuting. I was also very nervous. My companion landed accurately on the deck of the cargo ship, and I was in a bad mood and plunged into the sea."

Merlin shrugged:

"I will never forget that bad feeling."

"It's really bad to fall into the water, and that suffocation always makes people feel extremely awesome."

Harry also began to share his story.

The young man gradually got rid of his uneasy emotions, and a 15-year-old child would not have much vigilance. Under the induced sensation of gentle Merlin, Harry began to tell his story at Hogwarts Magic Academy.

"That was last year, during the Triumph, when I represented Hogwarts in the Cup of Fire."

Harry said to Merlin while drinking the drink:

"The first item is to grab the golden egg from the dragon, and the second item is to rescue my friends at the bottom of the Black Wood Lake, surrounded by fishman and Naga."

The young man waved his hand and said with an exaggerated expression:

"I can't swim at all, but I was forced to jump into the cold water. I almost felt suffocated. Fortunately, my friend Neville gave me gills and webbing in the water, like a real fish, able to breathe freely in the water. But even that was still difficult."

"It wasn't until the last second that I rescued Ron and another girl. I thought I had failed, but then I realized that I was second."

Harry recalled what happened last year and said to Merlin:

"I'm probably going to never forget what happened in that game and that game."

Speaking of this, Harry seemed to recall some bad things again, and his original enthusiasm also became depressed.

"What's wrong? Mr. Porter, are you feeling uncomfortable?"

Merlin noticed Harry's pale expression and asked with concern.

Harry shook his head, he was silent for a moment, and said to Merlin:

"Mr. Merlin, I'm sorry, but I want to go for a break, I just, just remembered something bad. Someone died because of me, and I feel guilty and I feel sorry for them."

After saying that, the young man took off his glasses and wiped his red eyes. He tried hard to show a smile to Merlin, and he said:

"Also, just call me Harry, Mr. Merlin."

"It's okay, it's okay, kid."

Merlin felt the sadness that Harry was not as fake as he was. He reached out and patted Harry on the shoulder, and he said:

"It is normal to have sad things. This world is not always full of happiness. This world also allows us to be sad. I believe that as the son of destiny, you must bear much more and experience than your peers."

"I am not the son of destiny, Mr. Merlin."

Harry looked up and said seriously to Merlin:

"I don't want to be a son of destiny. Others praise my parents as heroes. But I don't want them to be heroes. For me, it means I have lost them since I was a child. I hope my parents can be with me."

"yes."

Merlin was infected by Harry's words, he raised his head and looked at the top of the plane. He drank a drink and said softly:

"Which orphan doesn't want his parents to be alive?"

He lowered his head and smiled at Harry:

"I'm an orphan too"

"A month after I was born, my parents died of disaster. Trust me, Harry, all your feelings are something I have experienced, but what I am lucky to be more lucky than you is that my adoptive parents are a hundred times more kind than the Desris. It's hard to live with such a bad person for more than ten years, right?"

"Actually it's okay."

Harry shrugged and said to Merlin:

"My uncle and aunt are pretty good to me. They gave me Dali's small bedroom, so they wouldn't let me starve."

"I can understand their thoughts. After all, for ordinary people, magic is always novel and fearful. Moreover, I heard that my mother had a bad relationship with her aunt when she was alive. After my parents died, my aunt was able to adopt me, which means that she was actually a kind person."

"Okay, you're a little angel."

Merlin frowned and looked at the old clothes that were sewn on Harry, and he said:

"After getting off the plane, I have to buy you a new set of clothes."

"No, that's good, Mr. Merlin."

Harry hurriedly stopped him:

"I can't let you spend money."

"Don't be stupid, kid."

Merlin stood up and patted Harry on the head, and he said:

"You have to disguise yourself as a muggle. It's so eye-catching to wear this old clothes for seven days. This is for your safety and my sake. Now, go to bed, it's late at night. When you get up, we'll almost arrive in New York."

Merlin looked at his watch and pointed at Harry in his room, who stood up and thanked Merlin again, and then went back to the room.

Merlin walked to the edge of the cabin, where there was a bird cage with a white owl inside.

It is called Hedwig, and it is Harry's pet.

Merlin took out a bag of pet food from his pocket and fed it to this very smart and human bird. He picked up his cell phone and dialed a number.

"Gatler, we have left European airspace. Are you still safe?"

"Merlin, who did you take away?"

Level 5 agent Gatler on the other side of the phone asked with some headaches:

"Just just now, our base in London was invaded by an unidentified group! We had more than a dozen agents attacked and I was dealing with the mess here. The bad thing is that they all seemed to have forgotten what had just happened, like they were washed away from their memories. It was abnormal for an unlucky guy to even forget his name!"

"They didn't hurt anyone, right?"

Merlin asked.

“No one was injured, but our archive was hacked.”

Agent Gatler also revealed a sense of doubt in his words, saying:

"To be honest, I don't understand why those group of people could invade the base, why didn't they turn on the computer and instead wanted to go to the warehouse where paper materials were hidden. Your itinerary was stored in the computer, but there was no sign of turning on the computer at all. It's really a hell."
