52. The Wingless(1/2)

"We conquered the vampire of Vitruvius ~ and chopped the taurens of Misanoke Plain ~"

"We chopped down the scorpion-tailed lions nesting in the nest~ and liberated the poor servants tied to the shackles~"

"Two wingless angels destroyed them in the mud~ and all its despicable friends insulted their names~"

"Oh~ No matter what, this is better than the ascetic practice of the temple~(ps.1)"

In the special and quiet melody of the five-string zither, Angela sang a song in a hoarse voice.

The sound of waves coming from the sea was like catering to Angela's singing.

She sang repeatedly, only this passage. According to Merlin's shallow understanding of music, or Angela forgot the lyrics afterwards.

Or, the song itself has not been written.

"Whose song is this?"

On the lighthouse, Merlin with his hands on his back, asked with interest when Angela sang for the fourth time:

"Is it your husband? Or your friend?"

Angela did not answer.

Just as Merlin was as silent as she asked her if she wanted to go home, maybe she was disdainful of answering, maybe she was unwilling to answer.

Anyway, the lighthouse is quiet.

After several minutes of silence, Angela picked up the five-string lyrics that had been calibrated tones again, plucked the strings, and was about to sing a cappella.

Merlin, who was behind her, suddenly spoke:

"What is her name? Your spiritual companion, Serra, the lover you miss?"

"shut up!"

The girl in a linen robe heard the name hidden in her heart. She was like a lion that suddenly burst out. The five-stringed lyric in her hand was held by her five fingers and slammed hard at Meilin behind her.

But she broke the silence.

Merlin was there, but it was like a illusion of black fog.

The instrument cut into Meilin's body, causing a black mist to float, but it did not hurt the projection of the Maharaja at all.

"It's very annoying to listen to people's thoughts casually."

While the lips of the broken head were moving, the faint voice of the Maharaja sounded in the guarded lighthouse.

He said:

"I know this very well, but there is no way, you know, Angela, a lot of times, I come to communicate with strangers with kindness, but what I get is always ignorance or malicious."

"I can only talk to you in this way, and now you can't ignore me, Odin's eldest daughter!"

"I have to say that although you do not admit your blood, your arrogance is truly inherited from your fathers, and it is exactly the same as carved from the same mold."

Angela glared at Merlin.

She felt ashamed and angry because the secret in her heart was told, but after a moment, her expression became dead and cold again.

She took back the five-stringed harp in her hand and stopped paying attention to the Raven Lord waiting for answers.

She said:

"I have nothing to talk to you."

"I follow a rule. There is no free lunch in the world. Everything in the world has value. I also want to go home. Maybe you can help me, but I know that I have nothing to give back your kindness."

"I am no longer able to bear another debt."

"And I don't want to lose myself, so no matter what you want, I can only choose to refuse."

This attitude surprised Merlin, he said:

"Are you all so rational from the Kingdom of Angels?"

"In that extremely realistic world, reason is necessary."

Angela waves the strings, she said:

"We have believed in the principles of trading since we were young, and I have seen many people who rashly sought transactions but could not afford the price. That ending was worse than death. Those memories were enough to keep me rational."

"Well, good values."

The Raven Lord nodded and said:

"But go back to the previous topic, I have no intention of irritating you, Angela, I know that you have a lover in the kingdom of Angels, Serra, a disrespectful monk and a charming witch."

"After you encounter a fantasy journey, she should still be waiting for you to return in your manor. She should be loyal. Don't you want to go back to see her? Don't you want to bring her out?"

"Leave from the Kingdom of Angels, return to Asgard, or start a new life elsewhere."

"Buzz"

Merlin raised her fingers lightly and projected a picture in front of Angela's eyes, he said:

"I want you to take a look at these things before you answer this question."

Angela looked up and she looked at Merlin's projection.

What appears in the projection is a hell of steel.

Under the entire dim and hazy sky, there is a hell covered with silver-white metal. On the plain covered with all kinds of strange buildings, there are some strange figures walking.

As the projection approached, Angela saw it

The wingless angels who came from the same place as her.

The angels in robes were walking in a world full of robots and working collectively somewhere.

They have free time and occasionally draw some paintings to pass the time. In those strange paintings, Angela can see familiar scenery depicted with paint.

Landscape of the Kingdom of Angels.

"These"

Angela raised her head, her white eyes narrowed, looking at Merlin, and the Raven Maharaja with her hands on her back with a mysterious smile on her face.

He seemed to know what Angela wanted to ask, and he said:

"They come from the same place as you, that mysterious angel kingdom, the tenth realm. But unlike you, they leave that world after death, fall into the hell of the Asgardians, and suffer there."

"I saved them and promised them that they would release their tribesmen, so they turned to my loyalty."

Merlin said:

"I didn't understand why they agreed so simply at that time, and why they adapted to the new environment so quickly."

"I didn't understand your customs at that time, but now I know that you advocate fair trade, and I promised them, so they gave me loyalty, which is very reasonable."

"Yes, Angela, don't look at me with your weird eyes. Before I met you, I had already started looking for a way to the Kingdom of Angels. Meeting you was just an accident or a surprise."

The Raven Lord leaned down and looked at Odin's eldest daughter sitting on the edge of the lighthouse, and he whispered:

"You come from that world, and you have a sign of void leading to the angel kingdom. If you are willing to cooperate, it will save me a lot of time in search, so I ask if you would like to go home."

"You can treat it as a transaction. Give me the specific coordinates of the Kingdom of Angels in the void, and I will take you back to that world."

"In your words, Angela, fair deal."

Merlin stood up straight, and he waited for Angela's answer.

From the Rocket Raccoon that had just been awakened, Merlin already knew about the scene where it first encountered Angela on the abandoned planet on the border of the Kerry Empire.

According to Merlin's guess, Angela should have accidentally stepped on a trap with void teleportation ability in a battle in the Angel World.

Or some weird things were activated, so they were teleported from the void to the real world.

But that must be a random teleportation, otherwise, according to the position of the Angel Kingdom once on the World Tree, she should have fallen into the stars in the territory of the World Tree, rather than on the other end of the Milky Way.

Odin's eldest daughter is lucky.

You should know that random teleportation is too dangerous. From the span of stars, the recipient is easily teleported to some inexplicable places.

The worst luck is to be directly transmitted to stars like the sun.

Unless Angela has a perverted physical fitness like Clark Kent, she will definitely be dead.

But it doesn't matter how Angela comes to the real world. For Merlin, with such a human figure, he doesn't need to risk being discovered by Odin and search for a path to the angel kingdom in the ruins of Asgard.

The premise is that Angela must cooperate voluntarily.

"Why are you looking for the Kingdom of Angels?"

Angela thought for a while, she raised her head and looked at Merlin, she said:

"You are a hell master, right? What is the purpose of a hell creature looking for those angels? Could it be that our queen, His Majesty Hawen, who once offended you, so you want to take revenge on her?"

"That's it"

Merlin pursed his lips, he didn't plan to explain too much to Angela.

He said briefly:

"You can understand that I made a deal with the master of the Archangel of Havan, and I released those angels from the void, and then I received a generous reward."
