Chapter 62: Raiders Around the City 1

"Ah~" A cold and harsh sigh poured down from the skeleton's teeth.

The skeleton in a cloth robe shook slightly, and the dust fell from the gaps of his bones. The empty skull gradually lit up a hazy green light. A few minutes later, the owner and bartender of the Betrayer Bar, Augustine, woke up from his deepest dream.

His bony hand shrank, and the sound of tearing made him realize that he was holding a rag instead of a familiar wand. The move of raising his hand made the four rings hanging on the bone's fingers shatter one after another, and the dust after the metal was broken was no larger than the gem particles.

The ridiculous fact is that the fall of the city has a much greater impact on magical items than ordinary items - this rag that has been shelved for hundreds of years seems to be useful, but his powerful magical equipment has been wiped out with the city. The ashes on the table and the ground are all good things that were once unavailable for gold coins that were used to become carriages.

Augustine's mind only stayed on it for a second, and then he quickly realized what... or who it was, awakened him from his sleep.

"This is... what a familiar feeling." His empty eyes looked in the direction where Shen Yan came.

"Cough cough cough~" Another sound rang out, and a skeleton that died on the table suddenly woke up in a violent cough. His bones were still holding the tin wine glass, and a layer of black and gray was solidified at the bottom of the glass. He coughed with a heart-breaking cough, and the coughing made the dragon leather armor it was wearing and the decaying organic matter in its body shatter together, and pale ashes gushed out from between the jaw and ribs.

"Damn Augustine, what the hell are you selling?... I swear it's the hardest wine I've ever drunk in my life! Oh, what did I become? It's so damn." The man who realized that he had become a skeleton complained, "To myself," he said. He raised his glass again and sipped the ashes in the glass, and the ashes leaked out between his chin and rib strips.

"Hey~, who saw my thighs? I remember I'm not a disabled person." A skeleton with only the upper body left shouted. "I woke up and found it was gone. Augustine, do you have a dog?"

More and more undead are awakening, and their performance is different. Some cannot accept that they become undead, while others do not care at all.

"Damn Augustine, is it you? Did you awaken us with that damn magic?" A skeleton with an extra-wide skeleton rushed to the bar and roared! He was wearing mottled metal armor, carrying a giant cold steel sword one foot wide and two meters high, and his fist with iron gloves smashed half of the bar.

"Stay away from me, Derrick! You are no match for me now!" The bar owner gestured with disgust, and the giant skeleton named Derrick was knocked away by the force field punch. The place where Derrick fell immediately attracted a lot of scolding - because the cold steel material of his giant sword made every undead creature feel uncomfortable, now including himself!

These undead creatures now all look like they are skeleton soldiers, except for their size.

However, if you look closely, you can still find some differences - for example, the boss Augustine, whose skeleton is slender. If he was not a woman during his lifetime, then the original race should be an elf; a giant skeleton warrior named Derrick has obvious demonic bone spurs on his joints, and the legs are reversed. This guy was a demonic mixed-race Tifflin during his lifetime;

They did not voluntarily transform into undead, and they forced this process when the city fell. They were just as the rules of the universe collapsed, their souls had nowhere to go, and their bodies were bound to poor people who could not escape in the city. Therefore, the mage did not become a lich, and the warriors did not transform into a death knight, so their strength was weakened to varying degrees.

Augustine was a legendary magician during his lifetime. Although he fell from the legendary level, he is still a powerful wizard. Being an undead creature has a great impact on muscle warriors like Derrick. After losing his body, his strength has obviously declined greatly. Derrick was probably an equal figure with Augustine during his lifetime. After becoming an undead, he was beaten and didn't even dare to fart.

This is the "Betagonist Bar", as the name suggests, it is the place where the betrayers gather - they are elves who destroy nature, demons (chaotic camps) who defect to the devil (order camp), paradise guests who are willing to fall, bastards who commit the tremendous sins, and even... people who betray the ladies.

Because of their original sin, they had to escape from their hometown and come to the City of Ten Thousand Gate. But they found that this was not a dream place, and the betrayers were also unpopular. In the end, they could only gather in a half-underground bar to live... Over time, even the name of the bar was changed to "betrayers".

"No matter what, do you still have wine here? Augustine, put down your damn rag and go to the wine cellar to flip it." Someone shouted. Augustine pointed to the collapsed half of the bar, spread her hands, and signaled that she could do nothing.

"Since you don't even have wine, why do you want to scream out of your damn dream?!"

"Not me, but I guess..."

"Ms. is here!" A skeleton man who is still lying on his till now suddenly jumped up and screamed loudly! He flapped the wings of the skeleton on his back, and shouted wildly, "I will not surrender, let the Holy Flame verdict..."

Then there was nothing - the milky white heaven flames came and gushed out from the cracks of his ribs! The surrounding skeletons were frightened and fled in all directions. As a result, the holy flame rolled back and burned the summoner himself to ashes.

"Oh, stupid Dave, he forgot that he is no longer a Golden Feather Man." A skeleton said. "Dave is dead, the former Big Three of the Betrayers, and now there are only two left." Bar owner Augustine leaned out from behind the bar and looked at Derrick, who was still carrying a giant sword, and said, "One."

Derick remained silent, but most people looked in the direction of the wall - the image of a horned person on the head was painted on the wall.

"Hey, the lady Dave said...is it the lady I know?"

"Ha! Scared? Save it, what else can Madam do to us? We are dead!" The bar owner said meaninglessly, and he flipped through the pile of bottles of wine, trying to find some wine. "And the lady has fallen, this is certain. Otherwise, why do you think we can discuss the name here without any harm? Wait, we seem to be...did we discuss this issue many years ago?"

Augustine tilted his skull, and he always felt that this discussion had happened, but he lost that part of his memory. It was so bad.

"After you say this, I seem to have an impression. Isn't this the first time we woke up?" someone said.

"Then why do we wake up?" Derrick, who was sitting in the distance, muttered in dissatisfaction.

"It was her successor who awakened us, and I smelled the smell from the lady. Perhaps they had finally allocated the lady's divine power. Now I think of it, there are still several broken houses, I guess that's it." Augustine said. He habitually took the rag and wanted to wipe the tin cup, but it all broke.

"No! No one can do it!" A skeleton roared excitedly at the table, "This is our grave. I don't want to be dug out after death, and even ma'am!"

"Shh, no one dares to say that ladies can't do it."

"Oh, okay, no one can do except ladies!"

Skeletons, “…”.

If you are awesome for a few more seconds, you will die! No, you shouldn't dare to be awesome for a few more seconds?

However, look at me, look at you, but no one dares to speak rudely to the lady. Those who stayed in the era of the city have a deep respect for the lady. Although Augustine is still at level 17 now, she was a legendary magician back then, but in fact he is just a bar owner... she can only protect the place and protect the guests.

Since there was a new betrayer in the bar - the lady's betrayer, he has been praying every day that the lady should not kill him - he has no opinion on killing that guy. The principle of going to trample on horseback!

They are not simply afraid of ladies, but also have very complex emotions. The residents of the city are almost the same. On the one hand, the lady is not slandering anyone, and killing you if you don’t like you! But on the other hand, the lady protects the city from interference from any extraordinary powers such as gods, devil kings, and demon princes. Some people say that Aio is not good!

These betrayers can survive until now, not just three legends, but the rule that the lady set "Gods and dogs are not allowed to enter". Otherwise, they would have been caught back and lighted the sky lanterns long ago.

"Then today..." Finally someone talked about this topic. So what should we do when facing the lady's successor?

"Haha~" No one said anything, but Derik, who had greatly reduced his strength, sneered first. Without waiting for others to ask, he said directly, "You said that if a lady is still alive, someone ran to her and said, 'I am your heir', what will happen next?"

Almost at the same time, everyone immediately thought of a scene of "cutting alive by the swarming blade". So they immediately realized, yes, how could a lady have an heir?

"No matter whether the god or demigod comes, I only have this sword and my life. I will not admit any successor. The city of Ring will always be the lady's city of Ring." The giant skeleton grabbed the Hangang heavy sword and walked out the first.

"Derick... is right." The bar owner gagged with his empty jaw. "Wake up all the undead and prepare for a grand welcome ceremony!"
