in the rain

In a rainy day

Wednesday, March 30

This is the first rainy day since the journey began.

When they stayed on Lake Wymbourg, it was always sunny.

But when they set off for the first day of flying north, it suddenly started to rain. It took a few hours to go on. The boy sitting on the back of the goose was soaked all over and shivered with coldness.

Just when they started taking off in the morning, the weather was still sunny and it felt comfortable and pleasant.

The geese flew to the sky steadily without any rush.

Aka was still leading the front, and the geese behind maintained a strict formation, and were divided into two oblique rows behind her.

They didn't have time to make sarcastic jokes with the animals on the ground, but it was certainly unlikely for them to remain silent, so they kept shouting loudly to the rhythm of their wings flapping up and down: "Where are you?

I'm here.

Where are you?

I'm here."

All the geese kept making noises like this, and would stop only when they pointed out the ground signs of the place where they were flying over from time to time.

This was a monotonous trip, but when dark clouds appeared in the sky, the boy felt that it had become a real adjustment.

In the past days, when he looked from the ground to the dark clouds floating in the sky, he felt that they were gray and unpleasant.

But looking at the dark clouds from the sky from the top to the bottom will bring people a completely different feeling.

Now, in his opinion, the dark clouds were like huge trucks, loaded with lots of goods, some filled with huge gray bags, some filled with big buckets, some packed with big water from a whole lake, and some filled with big bottles and large tanks, which piled up half a day high.

So many trucks were running, and they filled the sky, and it seemed that someone was giving orders. For a moment, the water flowed from the big bottles, big tanks and big bags on the truck, and a huge amount of water poured down to the ground.

When the first spring rain burst into the ground, all kinds of birds in the bushes and on the grass made cheerful cry. The cheerful cry vibrated the sky, and even the boy sitting on the back of the goose jumped up.

"It's raining now! The rain brings spring, the rain brings flowers and green leaves, and the green leaves and flowers brings us bugs. The bugs are our food, and having a lot of good food is the happiest thing."

The geese are also very happy with the spring rain because they can promote the growth of all things, melt the ice, and create holes on the lake.

At this time, they could no longer remain solemn and serious as before, so they called out cheerful calls to the friends and neighbors on the ground.

They flew over large fields of potatoes, which were everywhere in the countryside of Kriance, but these fields are still bare and black at present. They shouted, "Wake up quickly and grow things quickly! The spring rain awakens you, please don't be lazy, please become diligent!"

When they saw the people on the ground running to hide from the rain, they scolded them angrily and said, "People, why are you running away in a hurry?"

Can't you see that it's not rain in the sky, but bread and snacks?"

A huge and dense cloud floated rapidly to the north, following closely behind the geese.

The geese then imagined that they were dragging the clouds forward. At the moment, they happened to see a large orchard on the ground, so they shouted proudly: "We brought crocuses, we brought roses, we brought apples and cherries, we brought peas and soybeans, radishes and cabbages.

Whoever wants it can take it away! Whoever wants it can take it away!"

This is the moving scene when the first spring rain fell. Everyone cheered and was happy for the spring rain.

But for the whole afternoon, the spring rain continued to rush, which made the geese impatient, so they shouted to the thirsty and water-deficient forest around Lake Eve, "Aren't you drunk and bloated?

Haven't you drunk your stomach?”

The sky is getting darker and darker, and the sun has long been hidden, and people cannot tell where it is.

The rain became more and more rapid, hitting the wings more and more vigorously, and breaking through the outer oily feathers and seeping into their skin.

The ground was filled with rain and mist, and it was impossible to tell the east and west. The lakes, mountains and trees all melted into a vague maze, and the signs on the ground could no longer be seen.

The geese flew slowly and slowly, and their cheerful cries stopped. The boy felt coldness coming and felt uncomfortable all over.

However, as long as they are flying in the air, they will always maintain their courage and grit their teeth and persevere.

In the afternoon, they landed next to a small pine tree in the middle of the Everglades, which was damp and cold.

Some hills are still covered with snow, while others are in ice water half snow and half water, revealing their bare tops.

Even so, the boy was not discouraged. He was energetic and ran around, picking up cranberries and frozen lingonberries.

Then, twilight fell, and darkness covered everything. With the boy's eyes that were so sensitive, he could not see anything. He only felt that there was a darkness in front of him, and the wilderness became unusually cold and terrifying.

The boy hid under the wings of the goose, soaked all over, feeling cold and uncomfortable, and could not fall asleep at all.

He heard the rustling sound, the rattled pronunciation, and the treading footsteps. He felt scared and didn't know where he should go.

He had to go to a place with fire and heat, if he didn't want to die of fright.

"On a difficult night like this, can't I risk spending someone's place?"

The boy thought to himself, "I just need to sit by the stove for a while and eat a little food, and I can rush back here before sunrise to meet the geese."

He got up from under the male goose's wings and slid onto the ground.

He did not alarm the geese or any of the wild gooses, and he held his breath and tiptoed out of the swamp.

He couldn't figure out where he was, not knowing whether he was in Sgena, Smoran, or Blazinge.

But before landing in the swamp, he vaguely glanced at a large village, so he now walked in that direction.

It didn't take long before he discovered a road, and he quickly walked to the village street, which was very long, with trees planted on both sides, and gardens one by one.

Boys come to a large parish town, which is common in the highlands of Sweden, but is hard to see in the plains in the southern part.

The houses where the villagers live are made of wood and have a very beautiful appearance.

Most houses have gables and front doors, decorated with exquisite carvings, and the balcony is filled with glass doors filled with stained glass.

The walls are painted with light paint, and the doors and window frames are painted shiny, some are painted blue, some are painted green, and some are painted red.

The boy looked at the houses as he walked, and the voices and laughter of the people living in these warm houses kept coming to his ears.

He couldn't hear what they were saying, and he just felt that the voice was so pleasant.

"What would they say if I knocked on the door and asked to go in and stay for a while?"

He thought so in his heart.

This has always been his wish, and when he saw the window with lights on, his fear of darkness disappeared.

Instead, the timidity of not daring to get close to people surged into my heart again.

"Before asking people to let me in," he thought, "I'd better take a walk around this town."

A house he passed by had a balcony.

As he was walking past the room, the door was opened and the yellow light shone out through the delicate transparent curtain.

A beautiful young lady came to the balcony and stood against the railing.

"It's raining, and spring should be coming soon."

She murmured to herself.

When the boy saw her, a strange desire appeared in his heart.

He almost wanted to cry.

For the first time, he felt uneasy and sad because he was abandoned from humanity.

Afterwards, he passed by a shop where a red seeder was parked outside the shop.

He stopped, looked for a while, and finally climbed into its seat, imagining himself driving the seeder.

He couldn't help but think about it. It would be so interesting if he could drive such a beautiful machine in the fields! For a while, he was immersed in his imagination and forgot where he was.

But he suddenly came back to his senses, so he quickly jumped off the seed.

Then, a greater wave of uneasiness enveloped him.

After all, humans are smart and much more interesting than other animals!

He walked through the post office and thought to himself, in every corner of the world, how many newspapers are released every day to deliver the latest news to people.

When he saw the pharmacist's pharmacy and the doctor's clinic, he couldn't help but feel how powerful the human power was, and that he could fight against the disease and death.

He came to the church and imagined how humans built it, probably to listen to the voice of another world different from the human world, to build it for the gospel of God, resurrection and eternal life.

The more he walked forward, the more he felt the preciousness of the world and the more he liked human beings.

This is often the case for children: they only think about what is in front of them and never think too far.

The closer they get to what is in front of them, the more they want it, and have never considered it at all. Is it worth it and how much it will cost.

When Niels Hogelson chose to continue being an elf, he never thought about what he would lose.

But now, he was extremely scared, afraid that he would never return to his original appearance in the future.

What exactly should he do so that he can return to his adult appearance?

This is something he really wants to know.

He climbed up the steps of a house and sat in the heavy rain, his thoughts rolling like a tide.

He sat there thinking hard for an hour and two hours, and wrinkles appeared on his forehead.

But he didn't feel smarter than before.

Various thoughts were tangled in his mind, and the longer he sat, the less likely he could come up with a solution.

"For someone like me who reads little but has little knowledge, this matter must be too profound and difficult to understand," he thought to himself, "I really might as well go back to the world.

I will definitely ask pastors, doctors, teachers or knowledgeable people, and they may be able to cure my heart disease."

He decided to do it right away, so he stood up, shook his body, and shook off the rainwater on his body, because he had been wet, like a dog falling into the water.

At this moment, he saw an owl flying over! It flew on a tree on the township streets.

After a while, a female owl living under the eaves raised her body and greeted him: "Jijigu, Jijigu, you are back home, Mr. Gray?

How are you living in another province?”

"Thank you, Mrs. Brown, I've lived a good life," replied the Tom Owl. "Is there anything unusual happening in the house during my time when I'm not at home?"

"There is no here in Blazinhe, Mr. Grey, but something incredible happened in Sgena! A boy was wizarded by a elves and turned into a little monster, which was not much bigger than a squirrel.

After that, he went to Lapland with a domestic goose."

“This is something that is unheard of, it is something that is unheard of.

Will he never become a human being, Mrs. Brown?

Can he never become human?"

"This is a secret, Mr. Gray, but it's nothing to tell you.

The elf said, if that child could take good care of the goose so that he could return home safely, then—”

"What else, Mrs. Brown?

what else?

what else?"

"Fly with me to the bell tower of the church, Mr. Gray, I will tell you everything I know.

I'm afraid someone is eavesdropping on this street."

After saying this, the two owls flew away together.

But the boy couldn't help throwing his hat into the air and shouted, "If I could take good care of the goose and let him return home safely, then I would be back to human form.

That’s great! That’s great! Then I will become human again!”

Even though he shouted wildly, "It's great", strangely, the people in the house couldn't seem to hear it.
