Nils' magical journey(1/5)

Niels's Magical Travel

In the farm

Thursday, March 24

In those days, a strange incident happened in the Sgena area, which not only caused everyone's discussion, but also published it in the newspaper.

However, many people think this is just a fictional story because no one can tell the whole story of the matter.

The thing was probably like this: someone caught a female squirrel in the beech woods by Lake Wymb and sent her to a nearby farm.

People from the farm, both the elderly and the children, like this beautiful little animal with only fluffy tail, smart and curious eyes and beautiful little claws.

They planned to entertain themselves with her all summer, watching her jog lightly, watching her dexterous posture of chewing nuts, and watching her funny tricks.

They quickly trimmed an old squirrel cage with a painted green cabin and round wheels braided with wire.

This small room, with doors and windows, can serve as a dining room and bedroom for female squirrel.

Therefore, everyone used leaves to make a bed in the room, put a bowl of milk and a few nuts in it.

She could use the wheels as a playroom, where she could run, climb and turn the wheels.

Everyone thought they had arranged a very comfortable environment for the squirrel, but what surprised them was that she seemed not satisfied with this living environment.

She curled up in a corner of the room, feeling depressed.

From time to time, she would let out a scream full of pain.

She didn't touch the food people prepared for her, and she didn't turn the wheels once.

"Probably because she is still in shock," said the person on the farm. "When she becomes familiar with the environment tomorrow, she will eat and play."

Meanwhile, the women on the farm are preparing for the festive feast.

On the day the female squirrels were caught, they were busy toasting.

They had bad luck: either the dough didn't ferment, or the hands and feet were not fast enough, so they were still busy until dark.

Naturally, the kitchen was filled with joy, excitement, bustling and busy scenes. Perhaps because of this, no one had the time to distract from paying attention to the squirrel and learn how she was doing.

There was an old lady in the room. Because she was too old, everyone didn't ask her to go to the kitchen to help bake bread.

She also understood this, but she felt very uncomfortable when she was being excluded from the activity.

She felt very depressed, so she did not go to bed, but sat in the living room and looked out.

Because the weather was hot, people opened the kitchen door and shone the lights into the yard, which suddenly became bright, so the old lady could see the gaps and holes on the opposite wall clearly.

She also saw the squirrel cage, which happened to hang in the brightest place.

She noticed that the female squirrel ran from the cottage to the wheels throughout the night, and then ran back to the cottage from the wheels, without stopping for a moment.

She was very puzzled why this little animal was so irritable.

She took it for granted that it must be because the lights were too strong that she couldn't sleep.

There is a wide arch between the cowshed and the stable, which is also illuminated by the lights from the kitchen.

After nightfall, the old lady saw a little guy less than a slap, and was tiptoing out of the door.

He was wearing leather pants, wooden shoes, and dressed as a worker.

The old lady suddenly realized that he was an elf, and she didn't feel afraid of it at all.

Although she hadn't seen him with her own eyes before, she heard that he was always hiding in a corner of the place.

It is said that as long as the elf appears, it will bring good luck to the place.

As soon as the elf walked into the gravel-paved courtyard, he walked straight towards the squirrel cage.

Because the cage was hung high and he couldn't reach it, he went to the storage room to find a stick, leaned against it, and climbed up like a sailor climbing a cable.

He came to the cage and shook the green hut hard, as if he wanted to open it.

The old lady didn't move because she knew that the children were afraid that the children from the neighboring village would steal the squirrels, so they added a padlock to the green hut in the cage.

Seeing that the elf could not open the door, the squirrel came out and ran to the wheels made of wire, where they were muttering and discussing for most of the day.

The elf waited until the squirrel was locked in a cage and finished speaking, and climbed down the pole to the ground and ran out of the archway in the yard.

Although the old lady didn't expect to see the elf appear again this night, she still sat by the window without moving.

After a while, the elf returned. He rushed to the squirrel cage, and the old lady felt as if he was not touching the ground.

The old lady had a very good eye for looking at things in the distance, so she could see him clearly. She seemed to have something in her hand, but she couldn't see clearly what that thing was.

He placed the things in his left hand on the stone floor and climbed into the cage with the things in his right hand.

After going up, he used his wooden shoes to break the glass of the small window.

He handed the things he had in his hand to the female squirrel, then he slid to the ground, holding the things he had previously placed on the floor, and climbed up again.

Then he hurried out, and he ran very fast, and the old lady's eyes could hardly catch up with him.

Now, the old lady can no longer sit in the room.

She stood up, walked out quietly, came to the backyard, standing in the shadow of the water pump waiting for the elf to come back again.

At that time, another guy also saw him and became very curious.

This guy is a cat in the room.

He also tiptoed over and stopped under the wall two steps away from the light.

On this chilling March evening, the old lady and the cat waited patiently for a long time.

Just as she was about to give up waiting and was about to return to the house, she heard a clattering sound from the stone paved road, and then saw the little man who looked like an elf coming back with heavy steps.

Like last time, he held things in both hands.

The things in his hand were squirming while making a squeaking sound.

A ray of light illuminated the old lady.

She suddenly realized that the elf ran into the beech trees to find the female squirrel's children, and he handed them over to the female squirrel so that they would not be starved to death.

In order not to disturb the elves, the old lady dared not move.

The elf didn't seem to notice her existence either.

He was about to put a baby squirrel underground and put another baby squirrel into a cage when he suddenly saw the faint green light emitted from the eyes of a nearby domestic cat.

He stood there, holding a little squirrel in each hand, not knowing what to do.

He looked around, and now he finally discovered the old lady's existence.

Without hesitation, he immediately walked forward, raised his arm as much as possible, and handed a little squirrel to her.

The old lady wanted to show that she was trustworthy, so she bent down and took the little squirrel over, held it in her hand, and waited until the elf climbed up and handed the one in his hand into the cage. Then he came down and took the little squirrel he entrusted to her away.

The next morning, the people on the farm gathered together for breakfast. The old lady couldn't hold it anymore, so she told me what she had witnessed the night before.

Everyone laughed loudly after hearing this, and laughed at her as she just had a dream.

At this time of year, where do you come from the little squirrel?

However, she insisted that what she saw was the truth, so she asked them to look at the squirrel cage, and they went to see it as they said.

Sure enough, on the bed made of leaves in the female squirrel's bedroom, four little squirrels, whose bodies were not much hair and whose eyes were not fully opened, looked like they had been born for two or three days.

After witnessing four young squirrels with their own eyes, the owner of the farm said, "Let's not care about what's going on, but there is one thing that is, all of us in this farm have done something that makes us unable to raise our heads in front of animals and humans."

After saying that, he took the female squirrel and her four young sons out of the cage and put it in the old lady's apron.

"Please send them back to the beech jungle," he said, "let them get free!"

This is the thing that has been widely circulated, and it even went to the newspaper page, but most people are still unwilling to believe it because they cannot explain why such a thing happened.

In Witskfrey

Saturday, March 26

Two days later, another strange thing happened.

That morning, a flock of geese flew over and they landed in the fields of the East Sgena area not far from the Witskflee Manor.

Among the flock of birds, there were thirteen gray geese and a white geese. It carried a little man wearing a green vest on its back, a pair of yellow leather pants on its bottom, and a white pointed hat on its head.

At this time, they were quite close to the Baltic Sea.

The field where the geese landed was mud and sand.

It seems that in the past, this area was a constant flowing quicksand land, and it had to be artificially fixed. Therefore, in this vast area, you can see large areas of artificially planted pine forests.

The geese searched for food on the ground for a while, and then several children walked over along the edge of the grass.

The geese, who served as the guard, immediately flapped their wings and buzzed their wings and flew into the sky, so that the whole group of geese could understand that the danger was right in front of them.

All the geese flew into the sky, but the white goose walked swaying along the sand without realizing it. When he saw that the geese flew into the sky, he raised his head and shouted to them, "You don't need to fly away! They are just a few little ones!"

The little man who once rode on the back of a geese was sitting on a small mound beside the woods, picking up pine cones and peeling pine nuts.

The children were getting closer and closer to him, so he did not dare to run across the fields to the white goose. Instead, he hid under a large area of dried thistle cauliflower leaves, and at the same time he shouted alertly at the big white goose.
