Chapter 681: Walk after a meal

Salomon didn't tell Wanda too much about Kama Taj's dark insider.

No matter how great the mission Kama Taj shoulders and how many titles there are on the crown, it is basically a ruthless killing organization. Every secret mage's mission is to kill the enemy of humanity at all costs. This is a bit unacceptable for Wanda, so Salomon did not intend to tell her about Kama Taj's dungeons. Now the Immortal City has brought Kama Taj's pragmatic philosophy to the extreme, and there are further trends.

He told Wanda about his first mission, namely, to eliminate the young, almost true ancestor of the young vampires in the town of Corinth, to clear out the hidden werewolf in the town and the degenerate ghouls scattered in the forest of the town. Wanda heard it very seriously. She didn't know why the Supreme Mage asked Salomon to start the mission at such a young age, and she didn't know what kind of ending would the ordinary people in the town of Corinth without Kamataj's secret mage.

"This is the easiest task I have ever encountered." Wanda and Salomon sat face to face with a cup of hot tea in their hands, leaning against the window. The copper heater in the middle of the room was emitting a fragrant and elegant smoke. When the slow story ended, there was still an orange-red afterglow on the snowy mountain, and the snow peaks were submerged in the darkness. The magnificent and beautiful scenery and the slightly bitter cold wind made Wanda not influenced by this dark story, even when she heard the story of the witch and the vampire, there was not much emotional fluctuation. But she noticed a word.

"You finally recycled that magic book, did you?"

"No, I found nothing." Salomon said meaningfully. He asked the invisible servant to pour hot water into the teacup and took a sip regardless of the hotness. "I took all the books I had for the past, and the end result proved that what I wanted was not in the town of Corinth," he said. "But all the evidence shows that the book appeared in the town of Corinth, because only the spells that can curse people as vampires were included in that book. I have thought about many possibilities, the first possibility is a scroll mixed into ordinary books, and that book had long left Corinth. The second possibility is that someone behind the witch was instructed, and the book was taken away after the witch failed. But I believe that no matter which possibility, one day the thing will appear before me."

"Why did you tell this story?..."

"Yes," Salomon was quite satisfied with the apprentice's intelligence. "I suspect that what happened in Jerusalem was related to the town of Corinth. After all, the two towns were not too far away, and even Salem was not too far away. New England, more accurately, Maine and Massachusetts, were the first places where England colonized, and many magicians in Britain and even Europe came there. It happened that the binding of the book of magic was Morgan Lefee of Britain, and Morgan Lefee of the universe is still active. So I think these two things are actually related, and even cannot be separated from Morgan Lefee - although I have never found traces of casting the witch, the stench of the black magic can be smelled no matter how long it takes. Looking back, I did miss many clues."

"You said we were going to perform a task?"

"It's not a mission, but an outing." Salomon said. "The vampire described to me that the witch had cast spells on himself in pursuit of immortality, turning himself into ceramics and glass. If so, the witch's corpses should not rot, but I have always forgotten to look for them."

"Do you think there are clues to the witch's body?"

"Not necessarily." The Secret Mage shook his head, "It may also be useless. I plan to compare the black magic emitted by the witch's corpse, the black magic in the town of Jerusalem and the black magic that appeared in Salem to find clues. This will not be an overly difficult task, because I have found the location of the witch's corpse and prophecy."

"What are you waiting for? Let's set off now!" Wanda's eyes glowed. She really didn't want to stand in the martial arts field all day.

Salomon smiled. He had seen through Wanda's little thoughts for a long time, but he didn't care. "Go and change clothes, apprentice." He said, "I'll take you to a meal first, and then treat this mission as a night walk. I've prepared tight dresses and high heels for you."

"Is this for me?"

"Of course, this is yours." Salomon nodded and stuffed Wanda the clothes and shoes that appeared out of thin air. "It's just that you must participate in training tomorrow morning regardless of whether the witch's body fragments are found."

"Have he said what the mission would be?" Agent Hill asked tirelessly. She seemed a little anxious because Steve Rogers and Tony Stark could not perform the mission in such a situation, and she had to pay compensation and funeral expenses for the sacrificed agents and hit the money to those who were really concerned about. She didn't want to be sued by the Avengers for defaulting on the agent's wages and compensation, which was really embarrassing.

"You're too nervous, Maria!" Natasha Romanov did not take off his headphones. His long red hair was braided in a clean and neat braid behind his head to avoid affecting his movements. She pointed her heart at the target and fired another shot, familiarizing herself with the unique feel of the gun - this silver-white Beretta 92F was a gift from Salomon, with some magic attached to the gun body. In order to test whether magic would affect the shooting feel, Agent Romanov had fired nearly 100 bullets with this gun. The shooting training this morning was soon over, and she wanted to try the assassination weapon given by Salomon - she didn't know that after having a substantial relationship with Salomon, the man who watched him grow up would be so generous.

“At best, it’s just a walk after supper.”

"For him, it's just a walk after supper, and for ordinary people, it's a catastrophe." Agent Hill used precise and merciless words when evaluating the Secret Mage. She compared Salomon to a buzzing lawnmower, intending to cut all the lawns into the same place as they pass by. "Just like mowing the lawn, the smell will always take several days to dissipate after work." Agent Hill rolled his eyes, "They only care whether ordinary people see magic, and not what kind of damage they have caused to the construction and personnel."

"It sounds like a special agent."

"Agent S.H.E.L.D., not Agents of the Avengers." Maria Hill said, "We're not doing that anymore, don't you remember?"

Natasha took a deep breath of the air full of smoke. She didn't like this smell, but the smell of smoke still lingered and even soaked her hands. She couldn't help but recall the small candles that Salomon gave her not long ago. The small candles have many colors and varying shapes. The smoke that burns will emit a thin and fragrant smell, which makes people feel happy.

She recalled what happened after the candle was lit.

"You're off the target, Romanov."

"I'll call him to ask!" she said without looking back, "but you are not allowed to refute me with what I said!"
