Chapter 386 Responsibility and Pressure

Steve Rogers is a traffic rule man. He doesn't drive fast. The motorcycle that was supposed to be galloping like a roaring beast drove towards Brooklyn in a slow manner in the city. Sometimes he would stop and buy two ice creams on the roadside dining cart. He wanted chocolate flavor and Salomon wanted strawberry flavor.

He was a man of rules, Salomon could see. Steve Rogers, the great Captain America, would obey all the orders his country gave him. He was loyal to the country, to the national flag, to his team, but this loyalty that was seventy years behind was also the source of his pain.

Captain America is not well educated, at least not as good as Tony Stark and Bruce Banner in the Avengers who had a few PhDs, but he knew what was right and what was wrong. S.H.E.L.D. took over the soldier instead of asking the military to order him again, which allowed Steve Rogers to avoid being involved in the mess between European and American countries after World War II.

Captain Rogers also verified some of the information that Salomon told him. He knew that the CIA was the mastermind behind the chaos in the Middle East today. He knew why revolution broke out in Egypt and Syria. He knew that if he accepted the military's orders again, he would be very likely to be sent to the Middle East battlefield. Those scumbags would abuse his loyalty and trampled this great emotion under his feet.

In the past, Steve Rogers fought for justice and justice, but now these things no longer exist. The anti-fascist front fell apart, but for the sake of this world, he stood up again, even if there was no ideal to support him.

Now, he needs a new goal.

For humanity, how?

"I need to do human experiments, or, in other words, must." Finally arrived at the destination, Salomon took off his helmet. It was time for the conversation, and no one else disturbed him. Salomon didn't understand how Nick Fury dared to let Steve Rogers touch him. Does he think the end result of this matter was Captain America convinced him, not him convinced Captain America?

Ah, old fox! Steve Rogers is the most determined opponent of the Super Soldier Plan. As long as Salomon says this purpose, Steve Rogers will object. This person opposes the Super Soldier Plan not because he wants to enjoy this ability alone, but because he knows what kind of pain it will bring to the world when the United States has a large number of Super Soldiers.

"Because the world is different, I believe Nick Fury said this sentence too. Perhaps everything has been different from the day the Zitaris invasion. London, New York, the nerves in this world are tense now, and any extreme action may break out of a conflict or even a war." Salomon jumped off his motorcycle and stuffed his helmet into Steve Rogers' hands. Nick Fury was indeed scheming, but Salomon faced completely different enemies. Captain Rogers had faced with him and the black magic, and Salomon had the confidence to convince him.

"I know you hate super soldiers, and I know why you hate them." The secret mage took the lead and picked up the smelly abscess under the scorching sun. Captain Rogers' expression was not astonished, and he seemed to be planning to listen carefully to what Salomon said.

"You also see what I'm facing, Captain Rogers, we're facing threats outside the real universe," he said. "So, I want to create an army. Nick Fury certainly didn't tell you the purpose of this army because he was worried that you would be convinced. The purpose of this army is to wipe out the enemy of humanity and kill the creatures of external dimensions and black magic, just like those you encountered on the battlefields of the Eastern European monastery, and you've also seen the performance of the mortal elite."

"I know." Captain Rogers looked at Salomon's eyes and said very seriously, "But Nick Fury told me another question. He didn't know if you would point the gun of this army at human society. What if you want to conquer the world? Can you guarantee that you won't do this?"

"No." Salomon shrugged. He planned to be open and honest with Steve Rogers. There is no need to talk around when dealing with such straightforward people. Only sincerity can you gain favor. "There are many powerful countries in this universe, the Kree Empire, Sandal, and Asgard. These countries have unified the power of several planets, and only humans are still spinning on one planet."

Salomon's tone was very similar to parents who saw their children's poor transcripts. "Especially European and American countries, Rogers, capitalist shortsightedness is fully reflected in these countries. You have to admit that idiots account for the majority of idiots in this world. The so-called democracy is just a coat of banished by capitalism, because there are always voters who will be bought by the small favors thrown by politicians - for example, opposing taxes to the rich, because those voters believe that if they don't increase taxes to capitalists, those capitalists will provide more jobs. Tell me, can a politician elected by idiots and voters manage a good country? The result of this is that humans are trapped on the earth and fail to leave the solar system after they are exhausted."

"If there is no change, I do not promise that I will not use my own strength to eliminate the borers. Then, a society that can be called efficient will be established."

"Do you think there is a difference between you and Hitler, Salomon? Where did you learn this?" Captain Rogers frowned. "I heard cruelty and indifference from your words."

"Since you asked this question, I must give you an answer." The Secret Master replied with a smile, "No, Rogers, there is no difference. Hitler praised the Aryans, I admire all humans, and I treat aliens the same as the Nazis treat Jews. Unless your alien sympathizes, you have no reason to object. I know the heavyness of this crime, and I am willing to bear it. I value life, but only human life. I dare not say that my means can be cleaner than the United States, but you don't know what challenges we will face. When the kings who protect the real universe and the earth grow old, we can only rely on ourselves."

"Are you serious, personal heroism?" Salomon glared at him and said viciously, "You are such a real American! The reason why personal heroism can work is because it is a victory based on collectivism. You should understand this. Is the Avengers powerful? If the Zitaris were not afraid of Asgard and did not dare to enter the solar system, those terrifying weapons would have long been on Earth. If S.H.E.D. hadn't found everyone, and when the portal opened, you would have been scattered in every corner of the planet."

"I don't mean that, I'm a soldier. And the reality is not as bad as you said, Salomon." Captain Rogers sighed helplessly. He had seen Salomon's state, and those soldiers who returned from the battlefield often regarded everything around him as a threat. He just didn't expect that Salomon was so young and had such a bad mental state.

“The earth is not so bad yet, and people can still enjoy their lives.”

"Yes, in the past few years, how long can people be ostrich?" Salomon replied expressionlessly, "The King of Asgard is old, Supreme Master..." He took a deep breath, "When the guardian of the main material plane and the guardian of the Nine Realms pass away, there is not much time left for us. You cannot feel my sense of urgency, Rogers, I cannot stop."

"This is not your responsibility, it is the responsibility of all human beings."

"Is that right? Now it seems that there is only one country on this planet that sees the way under its feet." Salomon said, "But one country alone cannot drag all human beings up. This is my responsibility, Steve. When I took over the holy sword cast by the Earth Goddess Gaia, that responsibility belongs to me, and this pressure is something I have to bear."

Steve Rogers grabbed his hair.

Nick Fury really gave him a big trouble, and his eloquence and information he knew failed to refute Salomon's argument. But he still had a way to put the issue aside for the time being.
