Chapter 364 Is it myth or history?

"So you mean, there is supernatural power in this world, and Thor is a god, not an alien?" Laura Crawford seemed to have a very high acceptance of this statement. She did not yell at the magazine and pointed to the nonsense printed on the coated paper to refute Salomon. Her excellent education allowed her to listen to it calmly, and she also knew that Salomon's words were much more credible than magazines and newspapers.

Although what Salomon said had nothing to do with her next trip, Laura Crawford's innate curiosity would not let her miss any details. One of the reasons why Salomon came to her was to fulfill his promise. He promised Laura Crawford to answer historical questions about her, but the last time he was delayed because he had something to do and left in a hurry.

Lara Crawford's questions were quite tricky. The questions she asked had been on the top secret red line in the Kama Taj archives several times. These questions include, but are not limited to the origin of Asgard, whether the historical records of some famous wizards are true, etc. She also mentioned the details of the Salem Witch Trial case, because she believed that modern history might leave more historical materials. In order to answer her question, Salomon could only streamline some secrets and give an vague answer.

Foreseeably, Laura Crawford was not too satisfied with Salomon's ambiguity, but Salomon did not lie, he just didn't say it. After Salomon's explanation and warning, Laura finally accepted his statement and gave up on some supernatural events.

Of course, Salomon didn't think his warning would work. Even if Laura didn't go to Salem, she would be involved in various supernatural events. Salomon always thought he might add a few shifts. In addition, he came to Laura Crawford not just to answer questions, he also wanted to get invitations to the antique auction through this future archaeologist.

Beyonita has always said that the family needs some cultural atmosphere, so Salomon plans to go to the auction house to buy some antiques and place them at home, and there are far more antiques in London than in New York - Salomon has warned the Cheshire Cat that if it dares to knock anything over, it will be locked in a cage and hungry for several days. The Cheshire Cat licked its paws disdainfully and walked away cursingly.

It has been a few days since the arrival of the Dark Elves. Although the secret mages of Kamataj have returned from dimension gaps and the city of Sefiros one after another, Salomon's work has not ended. Just like Laura Crawford, many people became interested in Nordic myths after the arrival of the Dark Elves, and some even proved their fanaticism with their actions.

The Colson team, who was sorting out the wreckage left by the Dark Elves invasion, told Salomon about this, but the secret mage always felt that Agent Colson seemed to feel relieved. It took them a lot of time to sort out the wreckage, from any alien items about the Dark Elves and Asgard, from warship wreckage to a bolt, were sealed in S.H.E.D. boxes with black sponge pads and lead coatings to ensure that harmful radioactive materials will not be leaked.

After Agent Colson was raving, Salomon couldn't help but tease. "There is a professional who feels good, right?" he said, "but I still don't understand what you mean, Agent Colson."

"According to Fitz's research, the spectral characteristics of that thing match the same as the Hammer of Thor."

"You mean, that thing has the magical aura of Lun Magic. Does that mean?"

"Maybe." Agent Colson hesitated a little. He didn't understand what magic aura was. Fitz, who stood beside him, seemed to want to interrupt. He was very interested in the spectral characteristics of classified magic, perhaps this could help them identify what supernatural threats they were facing in future tasks. Agent Colson praised this idea, but he believed that the classification work could be carried out later.

"After a three-dimensional reset scan, we successfully built a model of that thing," Fitz said. "It looks like a cane, with excellent craftsmanship and perfect carving. In addition, I completed the 3D model of that thing."

"Who knows, maybe this thing is Thor's nail... I mean, since Thor has a hammer, there must be a nail." Skye put her face in front of the screen, filling all the images Salomon could see. "I have a guess, but others don't agree. I think someone summoned this thing with magic."

"So we asked you and a few experts in Nordic mythology," said Agent Colson. "I want to ask you to work with that expert to help us study this thing."

"Is that so, do I need me to open the door for you?" Salomon looked at Laura Crawford, who had a great conversation with Professor Elliot Randolph. Before Agent Colson could express his surprise, Salomon pushed open the office door and smiled at Agent Colson who was standing outside. "I saw the news, Oslo was a big deal." said the secret wizard, "So I brought a Prof Randolph's acquaintance over here. This was just a coincidence. I was still a guest in London at that time."

"Hello, Agent Colson." Professor Elliot Randolph and Laura Crawford stood up to welcome the new guests. With the squad led by Agent Colson, the originally spacious office suddenly became a little crowded. "Please come in, I didn't expect there would be so many guests today." Professor Randolph said, "This is Laura Crawford, I think you all know. This is Salomon Damonnet, and his purpose is the same as you, and we all saw the news."

"In fact, we all know. Miss Laura Crawford is one of the experts who helped us identify alien objects after the Dark Elves invasion, and Mr. Salomon Damonet is one of them." Agent Colson kept his face unchanged and helped Salomon cover up the past. "If you are all here, it will be of great help to us."

Professor Randolph and Laura Crawford immediately came over, but only Salomon was unmoved. After a glance, he continued to stand there, as if the black suit on his body was some hard armor that made him unable to move.

"It's incredible." Professor Randolph took the model and looked carefully. "From these Runes, this should be a piece of the Furious Staff. Let's take a look... This myth goes back to the late 12th century and is about a powerful warrior from Asgard." Professor Randolph opened the book and turned the attention of others to the book. There was an illustration in the book that occupied a whole page, depicting a man wearing armor and scepter standing on the top of a mountain.

"A soldier from the army of berserkers."

"Soldiers of the Berserker Army?" Fitz expressed his question at the right time.

"Yes, a powerful army," replied Professor Elliot Randolph. But then, Salomon, who seemed not to have originally spoken, made a sound. "The army of Berserkers is a legion of civilians." He said, "You may know how the aristocrats fought in the Middle Ages, right? The army of Berserkers is the recruitment of the nobles. But a little better than on earth is that Asgard's recruitment does not have to take farm tools to the battlefield, and Asgard has also given armor."

"Yes." Professor Elliot Randolph glanced at the smiling secret wizard. He originally thought that Salomon was just a young man who came here, and he had met many such people. Since Thor arrived, his major has become a popular one, and countless students have signed up for the class.

"I didn't expect you to know Asgard so well," said Professor Randolph. "Your description of the Berserkers army is completely correct, and it's not wrong to use the medieval recruitment to compare it. Sorry, where did you learn these things? I remember Miss Crawford saying that you just got admitted to Oxford University...or are you a 'Rhode Scholar'?" [Note: Rhode Scholar refers to the Rhode Scholarship, which aims to fund the world's youth elites who are "excellent, brave, kind and have a leadership temperament" to further their studies at Oxford University.]
