Chapter 256: Things from Heaven

A mental illness called paranoia was transmitted to her heir by the Supreme Master, but her heir knew nothing about it, and he didn't know that in another dimension, there was someone talking about his mental state. Perhaps some abnormalities that Nick Fury noticed did exist, and Salomon Damonet also needed a psychiatrist very much, but the reality was that no one could help his mental state return to the normal category of ordinary people.

For a special individual like him, the spiritual burden he has carried since he was born has actually driven him crazy, and the cruel practice of the Supreme Master when he was a child has worsened this mental state. The Venerable forced the bloody reality that he could not have touched before him, and let him harvest other people's lives with his own hands. Perhaps the life with the witch is softening his spirit step by step, but how long it will take and whether it will have any effect is unknown.

Unconsciously, Salomon was not in the mood to consider his mental state. He was busy rushing to the road. Not long ago, he had just passed through Marduke's territory. This devil was recognized as the patron saint of Babylonia in the early days of human history. However, He was an extremely crazy devil. He could hardly see the characteristics of the devil in him. His personality was closer to the demon, so he was regarded as a madman by many hell lords. Since this devil was also a member of the Seventh Throne, Salomon would become a thorn in his eyes if he only showed up. Phoenix did not suggest Salomon to enter Marduke's territory to rest, but continued to rush and found a place with a slightly better air to eat and rest.

Salomon only has jerky and water to eat. He could tolerate it during the first meal, but when he stuffed the jerky into his mouth for the third time, he wanted to return to the main material plane to find a restaurant to have a big meal.

If it weren't for using magic tricks to turn jerky into various fruit flavors, Salomon would really not be able to bear it anymore. The consumption of jerky is getting faster and faster, and he took out almost everything that could be eaten in the dimensional bag. In addition to food, Salomon has a high tolerance for other things. Hotness and dryness are just small things, and he can also use magic to solve problems.

At least he won't let himself die of thirst.

But Pergasus could not stand such a bad environment. The wind and sand would get stuck in its feathers and mane, and even into its nostrils, which could not be completely cleaned up anyway. After the first day of the march, Pergasus asked Salomon to take a shower for it, cleared the dust in his nose and returned to the astral world to rest until Salomon needed it.

Eat, rush, eat, sleep, and have a few days passed. Salomon only hopes that he can feel like he has arrived in Mephisto's territory, meet other secret mages, and then blow off the old devil's palace so that he can go home and rest.

Phoenix was also a little tired because it was responsible for the safety of Salomon along the way, and it could only take a little rest when rushing.

Fortunately, before Salomon completely lost the concept of time, he met the secret wizard who came to pick him up. The old deacon seemed to have great experience in the marching of hell, and he didn't know whether it was passed down by word of mouth in the family or that he had experienced this kind of thing himself. When he met Salomon, he was very familiar with taking out a lot of food, and there was no jerky in it.

"When you blast away the protective magic in Mephisto's territory, you can return to Earth first." The old deacon shook his head, a little dissatisfied with Salomon's spoiling. However, this is not a big deal, it can be trained. The old deacon thinks he should suggest to the Supreme Master to increase Salomon's ability to endure in difficult environments and conduct multiple sets of training until Salomon can endure the harsh environment of the external dimension alone.

"That's great!" Salomon was so excited that he was about to cry. He was wet all over, and moisture kept dripping from his armor. This was a means he used to cool down and moisturize. If he hadn't done so, he would have been so hot that he had long been heated by the armor.

He missed the witch very much now, and even if he would get Beyonita's few whips, it wouldn't matter!

"Let's act quickly!" he said excitedly.

"Calm down, young man." said the old deacon disdain, "Your mortal friend is still behind. For the last journey, you must arrive with us, and then leave the rest of the work to us experienced secret masters."

Nick Fury used his camera to photograph the scenery of hell along the way, and he looked like he was here to travel. He had experienced several battles while serving in the military. Although those were jungle battles, it did not prevent him from learning the ability to survive in arid areas. Therefore, compared to other secret mages who were also a bit dirty like Salomon, Nick Fury lived a pretty good life in hell because of his well-preparedness. At least the US military rations are more nutritious than jerky, so there is no need to worry about oral ulcers.

When he saw Salomon, he was overjoyed because he met many things he didn't understand along the way, and the attitude of the secret wizards was worse than Salomon. They were unwilling to answer Nick Fury's question: this mortal was so bold that it made the secret wizards extremely uncomfortable. Therefore, although they agreed to Fury, they did not answer his leisure, and even disdained the food given by Fury.

"You look terrible." Nick Fury did not forget to gain a verbal advantage first, and then he began to care about Salomon's condition. Now he still insisted on wearing the black leather jacket and refused to take it off. It seemed that he was worried that once he took off his clothes, he could see the little alien manipulated in his belly. Other secret mages changed into cooler clothes wisely, and only Nick Fury and Salomon were still suffering from the costumes.

"Wait." A secret wizard came over with something vaguely human-shaped and interrupted the conversation. "You should hear what he is saying." The younger secret wizard gestured to Nick Fury to look at the red twisted human-shaped figure, "He just went to hell, and he seemed to talk about Stark or something..."

Stark called a phone number, and he waited a lot, but no one answered the other end of the phone.

He walked around irritably. After a while, he dialed another number, but no one answered it. In the end, he could no longer bear it and directly called SHIELD's office phone number, but Agent Maria Hill answered it.

Agent Hill is powerless to do anything about Stark's current situation, and no one knows where the terrorist came from. Agent Hill can only tell Stark that the terrorist organization has nothing to do with the CIA, and she is not an anti-government armed by the US government, so she cannot provide any information.

"Where is Nick Fury?" Stark asked impatiently, "Isn't there anyone who can provide information?"

Stark now regrets provoking the terrorist, but because Happi was seriously injured and hospitalized, Stark is unwilling to lose to the terrorist in terms of momentum. So he can only hold on in front of the media and then seek help in private.

"I don't know where Director Fury is now." Agent Hill lied. She knew Nick Fury's current location. All agents who had experienced that mission signed a confidentiality agreement and could not disclose everything that happened that day. Hilt worked as Nick Fury's assistant. He also learned about the incident in his subsequent work, but under the principle of confidentiality, she refused to say anything.

"But I reported my house number!"

"I suggest you accept protection from S.H.E.L.D. I will send agents to escort you and Miss Pots."

"But that means I lose to the terrorists!"
