Chapter 211: Seal of Contract

Alexander Pierce sat in the office with a helpless look on his face, accepting questions from five members of the World Security Council. Originally, this was just a discussion on the technology left by Zita Swiss soldiers. Although the directors were a little unhappy when discussing the allocation of alien technology, this was nothing to Alexander Pierce. He dealt with this kind of scene too much and thought he could lead to the final result he wanted.

However, British Councillor Ms. Hawley seemed extremely dissatisfied with S.H.E.L.D. The World Security Council had information about all members of the Avengers, but simply missed one - the legendary information about King Arthur's knight, both the World Security Council and S.H.E.L.D., the information about the knights was blank. Given his performance in New York, all members of the Council believed that he was a terrible weapon comparable to a nuclear bomb, and S.H.E.L.D. should perform his supervisory duties rather than let an unknown guy run around outside.

Therefore, when Ms. Hawley used this as an excuse to question Alexander Pierce, the chairman of the board could not even refute. Other directors seemed to have seen opportunities and urged to reduce the share of alien weapons allocated to the United States and research opportunities. After Alexander Pierce finally stabilized the situation and promised to give Ms. Hawley an explanation and delayed the meeting time, he turned off the meeting projection, sat in the office chair with extreme depression, and poured himself a glass of wine.

S.E.L.D. is not without the information of Salomon Damonet, but those information is no different from ordinary people. It is just an ordinary citizen file. No one knows what is wrong with Salomon's ordinary file. However, S.E.L.D. believes that they know nothing about the name, ability, personality, family situation, and assets of this superpowered person. Alexander Pierce believes that only Nick Fury should know a little in S.E.L.D., because according to the recollection of Agent S.E.L.D., Nick Fury had communicated with the Knight who took off the armor, but Pierce speculated that Nick Fury might not know much, otherwise, based on their years of colleague relationship, Nick Fury would not have told him any basic information.

Suddenly, he thought of a possibility, which made his back suddenly straight: It is very likely that Nick Fury knew the knight very well, but he just didn't tell others that he used this information as a killer, and he was hiding his little secret - why did he do this?

Alexander Pierce decided to test it.

In fact, the situation was not as bad as Pierce imagined. Nick Fury did want to tell him some of the information about Salomon, but the information disappeared immediately as soon as it reached his mouth, like a glass of water poured into the desert. The memory sizzled and turned into water vapor and disappeared. Only afterwards can I slowly recall it. Nick Fury thought of the contract, and he was sure that it was the power of magic. He was being bound by the contract and could not say anything - and then he thought about his agents. Except for the sacrificed Agent Colson, only Agent Romanov and Salomon Damonet performed the mission together.

But Agent Romanov said she had signed a contract and could not help.

"Monther F*uck! This little bastard really won't leave any loopholes for me!" Nick Fury slapped the table angrily, then sighed, and fell on the chair. When Alexander Pierce summoned him, he still looked depressed.

The President of the World Security Council poured Nick Fury a glass of wine, and then mentioned the insight plan as if nothing had happened to observe Nick Fury's reaction. Director S.H.E.L.D. had no objection to this plan. He even wanted to speed up the progress. Nick Fury also believed that everything could not be left to the Avengers to solve, and that S.H.E.D. must dominate. But this was not what Alexander Pierce wanted to see. He knew that Nick Fury's ability as an agent was not difficult for him to lie.

"You have to tell me something, Nick. The World Security Council is very dissatisfied with you hiding the information of an Avenger - I'll call it the Avengers, and those directors say something even worse." Pierce said with a smile. "Give them some information is like throwing a bone without flesh, making them feel that their power has been applied and that their management has played a role. Nick, don't be too stingy about anything."

"I can know what they say without listening to it. It's nothing more than 'mob in strange clothes', 'unorganized and undisciplined armed groups'. These words were mentioned by politicians when the Zitaris were eliminated. But so what, before our plan is completed, if an alien invasion occurs again, we still need the Avengers." Nick Fury avoided Pierce's metaphor and began to mock the politicians, "I haven't seen them stand up during the alien invasion. Especially Director Malik, who has not yet been held accountable for the launch of nuclear bombs."

"It's almost, Nick. Have you found the missing nuclear bomb?" The question asked by Alexander Pierce is the most concerned thing about the US government. No country can fall asleep safely after losing a nuclear weapon. In order to find the nuclear bomb, the FBI, the CIA and the National Security Agency started to move one after another - a nuclear bomb would never disappear out of thin air, that's just a trick.

"Finished." When talking about this, Nick Fury became even more impressed. Salomon Damonet did return the nuclear bomb, but the handover location was a bit bad. Director S.H.I.E.L.D. never expected that Salomon would hide the nuclear bomb in the basement of the Pentagon. In other words, if any director pressed the nuclear bomb button more, the Pentagon would be bombed into the sky!

"Yes." Nick Fury thought for a while, thinking that he could ignore the screwdriver scratches on the warhead, because the traces looked like someone trying to disassemble the nuclear warhead. He could think of who the man was with his toes. Salomon Damonnet did not make him worry at all. He felt that there was no need to put this information high-speed council, otherwise the politicians would jump up like frightened hens.

Thinking of this, Nick Fury sighed and poured himself a drink.

"Very good. With that nuclear bomb, the impeachment of Director Malik can begin." Pierce nodded. If the nuclear bomb disappears, it means that this matter cannot be solved by a nuclear bomb. Gidion Malik's judgment is not wrong. In this case, the responsibility for launching the nuclear bomb cannot be put on Gidion Malik. Pierce has always looked down on these traditional Hydra families. He believes that these families have always been addicted to ancient legends and are something that should have been eliminated long ago. He is very happy to squeeze Malik out of the board of directors.

"But that's not enough, Nick," Pierce said. "The Council will not be satisfied with it."

"What do you think the nuclear bomb suddenly disappears?" Although Nick Fury cannot directly tell the information about Salomon and magic, he can use words to guide others to think. For example, now, he can use words to guide his boss to discover the truth.

"magic?"

Nick Fury shook his head.

"Since it's not a fool, it's a group hallucination?" Pierce asked.

"No." Director S.H.I.E.D. again denied.

Pierce shrugged, "What else can it be? It can't be magic?"

Nick Fury was silent and refused to answer.

"Okay." Alexander Pierce took a deep breath, "Are you sure?"

"One hundred percent, including those alien creatures that appeared in the police attack in the small town of Oro Grande..."

"Why don't you tell me in advance, Nick? You know how passive I would be in front of the Council without this information!"

"Remember what the devil is best at, Pierce?"

"Deceive...contract?"

"Yes, I signed the contract."

"Then can you name him?"

"No, I've tried it. When you realize it's magic, that name can't be said."

Pierce asked anxiously, "Your agents have also fought side by side with him. Tell me, have they signed a contract?"

"have."

"Shit! Is everyone in this world signed a contract? Is there any way I can know his information?"

"Only talk to him, Pierce." Nick Fury drank all the wine in his cup and stood up from the chair, "but you have to prepare a bundle of grass in advance."

"Why?"
