Chapter 34: Another Day of Coolness (Part 1)
Chapter 34: Another day of life is cool (Part 1)
Zhao Xing was still looking at the lime wall and sighing.
The world's number one lime wall, I actually had the opportunity to stand under the wall - buckle the wall!
Thanks to Su Dongpo. It is him who allows us to still feel a bright breeze blowing towards us in this noisy and busy era; it is him who allows us to look back and walk through a beautiful journey again.
In this era, literati and doctors like to be drunk in the mountains and rivers - for example, the sentence Su Dongpo's teacher Ouyang Xiu likes to say the most, "The intoxicating meaning is not wine, but in the mountains and rivers." Only Su Dongpo can calm down and observe the people's urban life.
It is said that during his exile to Huangzhou, an old woman asked him for help because she could not sell the pig. He wrote the advertising poem about pork for her: "Huangzhou is good pork,
Prices and other dirt.
The rich refuse to eat.
The poor don't understand cooking.
Slowly fire, less water,
When the heat is sufficient, it is beautiful.
Get up and make a bowl every day.
Don’t care if you are full.”
There is a kind of pork cooking hidden in Su Dongpo's poem. The pork cooked according to law is the famous Chinese dish "Dongpo Pork".
Only such a person who cares about the market can discover the "chalk" used by the people in the market, and then think of painting the walls with lime. If the cultural elites of ancient China observed the market like him, then...
Zhao Xingxin thought about something, and he seemed a little absent-minded in answering Su Shi's question. In addition, he really couldn't tell the origin of his teacher, so the answer became irrelevant: "The disciple was born in the countryside, and he could learn everything he could without a teacher!"
Su Dongpo showed a surprised expression.
Perhaps, this kind of surprise was a bit contemptuous, perhaps, it was because Zhao Xing's students misunderstood. Seeing Su Dongpo's distrustful look, Cheng Shuang couldn't help but take a step forward and said proudly: "My teacher learned the legacy of Wuhou, but unfortunately no one can understand it in the world, so he is humble and self-study and natural!"
"Wuhou" - this name is coming to Su Dongpo's itchy place. He is from Meixian County, Sichuan. Wuhou is the person most admired by the Sichuan people. Su Shi was immediately moved: "Have you been to Shu?"
Zhao Xing bowed and replied: "The world is quiet in Qingcheng, and the world is beautiful in Emei!"
Sichuan is a place where Su Dongpo's dream is entangled. Since he left Sichuan, he has not been able to return to his hometown for life.
how so?
To avoid suspicion!
After Su Dongpo's experience spread to Sichuan, a Sichuan man believed that the court treated him unfairly, or that the "uprising" was launched in the name of the unfair treatment of Su Shi, a Sichuan native. He did not hope to welcome Su Shi back to his hometown after the uprising was successful, but hoped that he would sit in the dragon court after the success. Then, the court went through a lot of trouble to suppress the rebellion...
After that, Su Dongpo did not dare to mention returning home for his whole life, but he died in Changzhou and was buried in Yingchuan.
Su Dongpo was trustworthy!
The Song Dynasty was a patriarchal society, what is a patriarchal society? In ancient times, when transportation was inconvenient, it was impossible for the ancients to go to other places without approval. There were no movies at that time. If an ancient man knew about the situation in other places - even if he knew only a few words, it would only mean that he had been there.
Zhao Xing had just a simple poem, and Su Shi was sure that the person in front of him had indeed been in Sichuan. He sighed and chanted the poem about homesickness—"The horns were empty and the flies were small profits, so he was very busy.
Everything is determined before, whoever is weak is stronger.
Let me let me go while I am still old and I am still free.
In a hundred years, Hunshu was drunk, with 36,000 events.
Think about it, how much can it be? Half of the worries of storms and storms are hindered.
Why do you have to resist death? It’s a short matter and a long matter.
Fortunately, the breeze is bright and the moon is bright, the moss is spreading, and the clouds are high.
Jiangnan is a good place, a thousand bells of fine wine, a song "Manting Fang"."
After hearing Zhao Xing's introduction of the word "Li Ren", Su Dongpo became even happier. He rummaged through the boxes and cabinets, took out a manuscript, and asked mysteriously: "This manuscript of poetry was written by me last Mid-Autumn Festival. Have Li Ren read this poem?"
What is the poem written in "The moon in the spring courtyard is noon, and the fragrance is shaking and the wine is about to dance. Steps turn to the corridor, and the plum blossoms are half falling and the fragrance is born.
The light clouds and mist are always the place where young people enjoy themselves. They are not like autumn light, but only shine with the parting people in their hearts."
Zhao Xing unconsciously read out the few sentences he admired the most: "Light clouds and thin mist are always the place where young people enjoy themselves... Wonderful! Wonderful!"
In fact, Su Dongpo was not asking about this. The last two words in his poem were "Li Ren". After being exiled to Huangzhou, he lamented that he was a person who left his hometown. When he met Zhao Xing by chance and saw the other party's fanatical attitude of admiration, he thought that Zhao Xing felt the same way because he read this poem, so he took the word "Li Ren".
When he took out this poem, Su Dongpo was very proud, and Zhao Xing acted like his own hardcore fans. This made his heart, which was suffering from the coldness of the world, feel warm, so he ignored the danger and took out the manuscript of the poem.
Why do you say "he ignores danger"?
Through conversation, Zhao Xing learned why Su Dongpo appeared in Xishui because of poverty and illness. This lonely old man who asked ghost stories about people around Xishui had just encountered betrayal and betrayal. The great scientist Shen Kuo used his trust to deceive his poems and then dedicated them to the court. He said out of context that he wrote poems and satirized the government. Fortunately, Empress Dowager Gao was his absolute "fan" and tried his best to excuse him, which made him escape the death penalty by chance.
After being exiled to Huangzhou, Su Shi lived in poverty and went to Qishui (Xishui County) to seek land, hoping to farm by himself so that his family would no longer be hungry, but failed. Later, under the care of his old friends, he obtained a deserted slope (Dongpo) outside the Dongcheng Gate in Huangzhou and reclaimed wasteland. The nickname of "Dongpo Layman" was he who started at this time.
The old scholar used his pen to wave his hoe. His weak body had to support a family of people. Because of the hard work of farming, Su Shi suffered from arm disease. Modern saying is "muscle strain" and he had to go to the home of the miracle doctor Pang Anshi of Xishui for treatment, so he often wandered in Xishui.
That year, Su Shi was 48 years old!
After the Wutai Poetry Case, Su Dongpo was exiled to Huangzhou and obtained a free official: Huangzhou Troupe Deputy Envoy (equivalent to the deputy captain of the militia), who was under the treatment of surveillance. The local officials came to his residence on schedule to check his words and deeds and manuscripts. In order to avoid disaster, Su Shi quietly burned many manuscripts, and a small part was secretly hidden by two Japanese people. It was not until Su Shi returned to these manuscripts that he saw the light of day again.
So it is really a very courageous thing that Su Shi has given the manuscript of the poem to strangers now - it is also a great trust and affirmation of Zhao Xing.
Zhao Xing was moved by Su Shi's frankness. He only admired the beauty of the poem, but ignored the two words "Li Ren" in the poem. Su Dongpo's child was off-touch. He used his fingers to hit the word "Li Ren" on the poem's manuscript, waiting for the other party to evaluate it.
The last sentence of this poem is also very good, Zhao Xing sighed: "You and I are both 'lefty'!"
Just this sentence brought him closer to Su Dongpo.
