170. The Adventure Story of Old Fording in the Night Around the Hearth (Part 2)(1/2)

"There is nothing to say about our experience of passing through the Dark Portal. We basically followed the information you gave us and used the rift opened by the mages of the Sacred Relic Society of Quel'Thalas to go to that terrible world.

Before seeing Draenor with my own eyes, I was filled with disgust and hatred for the orcs.

But to be honest, after seeing their world, I actually began to understand the war waged by the orcs."

At a sentry post on the edge of Cenarion Fortress, Grand Knight Tirion Fordring sat on a stone with a glass of fruit wine in his hand. He looked at the quiet desert at dusk, recalling his journey in the world of Draenor. , said to Blake beside him:

"I never thought that a complete world could be destroyed to such a degree of fragmentation. When I saw the scorched earth of Hellfire Peninsula, I even prayed for the suffering of the orcs.

Even though I know it was them who destroyed their world with their own hands."

The great knight shook his head, took a sip of fruit wine, and said:

"Although it is not worthy of sympathy, if the orcs had explained such tragic situation to us from the beginning when they entered Azeroth, maybe the war would not have happened.

That land is dead...

I'm not a shaman, but when I stepped on the dry and cracked earth, I could clearly hear the desperate groaning of the earth under my feet.

It was a suffocating world of death.

The stars I saw there all had a desperate light, and the Silithus desert in front of me seemed rich in such contrast, as well as those miserable evil orcs.

Compared with them, the hateful greenskins are all so cute."

"Fel Orcs? What is that?"

Little Xingxing, who came to listen to the story, held a pen and paper in hand and asked curiously.

Fording took out a stack of photo-bound diaries from his luggage, handed it to Little Star, and said:

"These are some experiences recorded by the Quel'dorei elves with gnome cameras. I don't want to describe that kind of corrupted creature to you, Miss Blue Dragon. It's also difficult for me to describe the current situation of the Draenor world in words.

You can see for yourself."

"Great."

Little Star cheered with joy, took the diary handed over by Fording, and ran to the side to share the good things with idiot Fenner and Seianni.

Blake didn't ask any more questions.

He obviously knows what evil orcs are, and he also knows the current situation of Hellfire Peninsula.

Just from the name, you know it's not a good place.

"Tell me about your experiences. There is no need to describe the misery of the world of Draenor."

The pirate sat on the stone with his legs crossed, took a sip of rum, wiped his mouth and said:

"I am a prophet. I can see that world in my dreams, but I am more concerned about your communication with the Draenei. I heard that when you traveled through the Hellfire Peninsula, you met the Draenei waiting there. people?"

"Yes, we met them."

When talking about this matter, Old Fording's tone was still surprised. He glanced at Black and said:

"Maybe it's really a tacit understanding between the prophets.

When we crossed the giant pit of Hellfire Peninsula in the evening and were attacked by a group of hellboars, a group of draenei rangers appeared in time and helped us drive away those terrifying beasts.

Their leader is an archbishop named Nellie.

She claimed to have been ordered by Prophet Velen to welcome us to a place called Shattrath City, and said that the Prophet had prepared everything we needed.

Because of your reminder, I accepted the guidance of those draenei.

It was also there that we separated from the explorers of Quel'Thalas. They said they were going to a place called Nagrand Grassland to hunt for treasure.

The Draenei also specially sent people to lead them through a place called Zangar Sea, and they heard that corrupted creatures are haunted there."

"You believe this kind of rhetoric, you are indeed an upright paladin."

Black shook his head and explained to Old Fording:

"The Draenei are not well-intentioned, but their hidden city Teledor is near Talador and the Zangar Sea. They don't want the curious elves to discover it, so they gave it to the guide.

The suffering that the Draenei have suffered in the world of Draenor is unimaginable to you, Lord Knight, they have long learned to be cunning, and they are more shrewd than you imagine.

As for Nagrand, there is also Draenei influence there.

After the orcs abandoned their world, the draenei have returned, and this time, they've learned to use their strengths to their advantage.

How was your trip to Shattrath City? I heard there's a demon there?"

"The devil has not invaded the interior."

Old Fording said:

“At least when I left Draenor, they were still concentrating their efforts on attacking a place called Falalon, which is said to be a mysterious island isolated offshore from the Draenor continent.

The demons seem to want to use it as a base for invasion.

As for Shattrath City, it is very safe there. If it were not in a dead world, I would even think it was the City of Holy Light. I saw the ultimate creation of the Holy Light there.

Those naaru who are wise and gentle, powerful and compassionate.

They generously shared the wisdom of the Holy Light with us. I can only say that I thank you for your proposal, Blake. Without this trip, it would be difficult for me to realize the higher realm of the Holy Light knowledge."

The great knight said in an emotional tone:

"Except for Prophet Velen, meeting the Naaru is definitely the most commendable thing on this journey. Many of my subordinates are still in Shattrath, helping the draenei resist demons while also learning from the Naaru.

.

As for Lord Velen, I can only say that he is more of a prophet than you.

This is not to belittle you.

only..."

"I understand, no need to explain."

Blake waved his hand and said:

"In the prophet's profession, Velen is the absolute leader.

He is the strongest and best among us, and of all the self-proclaimed prophets in the stars, you will not find a more qualified sage.

Compared with him, I am an ignorant scumbag.

But I’m more curious, what does Viren think of me? You should have told him everything about me, right?”

"I said it, I said a lot."

Fording drank all the fruit wine in his hand. Facing the cool wind blowing from the desert night, he groaned happily, touched his beard again, and said:

"Your Excellency Viren is very interested in you. He took the trouble to ask me for all the details about your story, especially about the means and causes and consequences of your involvement in those things.

He said a lot of things that I couldn't understand.

Maybe it's because I'm not a prophet and can't understand your thinking.

But he told me clearly that you are a very good prophet. You make good use of the power of fate and guide instead of recklessly changing. He said that if he had half your wisdom, the Draenei would not

It's reached this point now.

He said that as a prophet, you are more qualified than him."

"Wow, as expected of Viren, he speaks very nicely."

The pirate showed a proud expression and said:

"But I'm a little embarrassed to be praised so highly by Viren. He and I are different. He is a real skilled person, while I...maybe more of a talent.

I also know that the Holy Light Church is actively establishing contact with the Draenei. This is what His Majesty Fao told me personally. Therefore, I am curious, what is Velen's attitude towards Azeroth?

Did he say he was coming into this world?"

Faced with Black's inquiry, Old Fording shook his head and said:

"I also asked the prophet this question. He is a loyal believer in the Holy Light, so I invited him to come to our world. Maybe we can unite to fight against the devil.

But Viren refused.

He said he was the source of disaster.

He has already harmed Draenor and the orcs, and he is unwilling to bring his own disaster into our world.

Although His Excellency the Prophet did not say so explicitly, I highly suspect that he may have made up his mind to die.

He said that he chose to escape when the world needed him most, so he probably made up his mind to live and die with Delano this time."

"Tsk, tsk, that's what I'm afraid of."

The pirate said something without any beginning or end, which made Fording frown.

But before the great knight could ask, Black took the initiative to change the subject and said:

"It seems that the little prince Arthas did not come back with you? Did he have a good time in Draenor? Or did he stay in Shattrath?"

"Well..."

The pirate's question made Fording show a very strange expression. The great knight hesitated to speak. After thinking for several seconds, he looked around and lowered his voice and said:

"His Royal Highness Arthas decided to travel that world. He took his two loyal guard captains with him. In addition, he found new friends there.
