Chapter 63: The Blood of the Ritual
Bureau of Investigation.
Sigmun walked into the room, then pulled Edward, who was unprepared, into the dream space, patted the roster of blood clans in his hand, and Bogura's figure appeared out of thin air.
"What I'm going to do next may hurt him, so..."
Before Bogura could finish his words, Sigmun waved his left hand and directly slapped Edward.
"Aren't you afraid they will find out if you do this?" Bogura looked strange.
"Don't worry, because Dario's silly provocation to me on the banks of the Suriven River, out of some revenge, shouldn't it be natural for me to do something to his confidant Edward?"
"As long as you don't go too far, it's okay to leave some scars on this Edward. Maybe I'll make them more at ease," Sigmun explained.
Bogura thought about it and finally had to admit that what Sigmun said was indeed reasonable.
"So you were there on purpose and give that Dario a chance to provoke you?"
"This is just one of the reasons." Sigmun is reluctant to explain too much, "Get started."
"Okay." Bogura came to Edward. He opened his right hand, the skin in his palm broke, and a small piece of flesh tendon penetrated out, then pierced Edward's blood vessels and penetrated into his body.
Edward's body trembled, while Bogura's face turned pale at a speed visible to the naked eye, as if all the blood in his body was pouring into Edward's body.
After a long time, the blood flowed back and Bogura opened her eyes again.
“He is a container.”
"This guy's body carries a part of his blood that does not belong to him. This part of the blood is tampered with, like a source, and it is also imprinted with the will of other people."
"What does it mean?" Sigmun was confused when he heard it.
"You can see it yourself." Bogura pulled out a drop of crystal blood from Edward's body.
Sigmun understood it and reached out and pointed it on the blood bead.
Everything in front of him was swallowed by red, and then the scene around him changed drastically, and he entered Edward's hidden memory.
The air was filled with the smell of disinfectant, medical illustrations were hung on the surrounding walls, and some simple specimens were placed in the room.
It seems to be a room at some medical university.
Several young men in luxurious clothes and childish faces gathered together. They cut their palms with an ancient carving knife, and then mixed their blood into a copper bowl one by one.
Everyone stood hand in hand and recited in a low voice, constantly rotating around the copper bowl, round after round until everyone fell to the ground in dizziness.
I don’t know how long it took, someone got up from the ground, then picked up the copper bowl, drank the mixed blood, one by one.
In a place where everyone could not see it, a blood-colored mark appeared out of thin air, and then penetrated into one of the people.
That person is Edward.
The picture in front of you is broken, and Sigmun returns to reality.
"This Edward also studied at St. Rance Medical University."
"That's right." Bogula nodded, "The person who designed this ceremony is very smart. Everyone who participated in the ceremony is an important part of the ceremony. On weekdays, everyone is scattered, and there is a little strangeness in everyone's blood. Even if I am afraid it will be difficult for me to separate it."
"And when everyone gathers together, the ceremony takes effect."
"If I guess correctly, those young people must not have any memory of the rituals in their minds. For them, life in medical college should be just an ordinary experience." Bogula said.
"Aren't they afraid of accidents?" Sigmun raised his doubts. "These noble children dated privately, and sometimes appeared together on an important occasion. Will this situation lead to the accidental touch of the mysterious ritual?"
"This is the smartest part of the whole ceremony." Bogura patted Edward in a coma.
"What I mentioned just now is that his blood contains part that does not belong to him, and it also contains other consciousnesses. This blood is the source blood of the entire ritual..."
"Or it is the key to starting this ritual."
"Even if everyone is present, if the person with blood does not appear and does not do a specific thing, the power hidden in these young people will not be triggered."
"I understand!" Sigmun nodded, "This is indeed a smart way. As long as you control the source of each small group, the rest will be much easier."
"That's right." Bogura sent the blood beads floating in the air back into Edward's body. Then he condensed his spiritual power and drew a mark on Edward's forehead from the air.
The blood-red power gathers, attracting it without being emitted.
"If you need it, I can find the remaining participants in that ceremony based on the guidance from the source blood."
"No need." Sigmun shook his head. He had already seen everyone who attended the ceremony in Edward's memory. As long as he painted the appearance of these people, he could easily determine the other party's identity.
"What happens if someone with blood in them activates this ritual...?"
"He can do anything they do, and this is the simplest," Bogura replied.
"Is there any way to get rid of it?"
"In theory, as long as any link in the ritual is destroyed, the entire ritual will be completely invalid. But in the same way, doing so will alarm the person holding the source blood. In addition, the easiest way is to directly kill the owner of the source blood."
"How to find them?"
"I don't know." Bogura spread his hands helplessly.
"Can't you track it backward?" Sigmun asked. If it was established, as long as you get the list of the university you entered, you can...
"Sorry, I can't do it."
"Okay." Sigmon sighed, then raised his foot and kicked Edward in the face.
Crackling.
Feeling comfortable.
Just as Sigmun beat Edward, Dario entered the underground secret passage of the Radiant Cathedral, and soon came to the red door.
"Edward was captured by the Bureau of Investigation." As soon as he entered the house, Dario spoke directly.
"Don't worry, this should be just a coincidence. Even Dresel may not be able to discover the secret hidden in Edward. Don't scare yourself." Bishop Norrius looked calm.
"I'm a little uneasy." Dario frowned.
"Don't worry, I will ask Yvonne to send someone to pay attention. Our plan has no flaws. The nobles who entered the school then had no idea what was going on with them." Norius comforted.
"Go back and wait for news."
Seeing Dario's figure disappear into the secret passage, Norius rings the copper bell at his hand. Not long after, the red wooden door was pushed open, and Montana walked in.
"It's time to entrust you with important tasks."
