Chapter 42 - Relief Completion

In an instant, the holes on the three holes in front of me were filled with each other, and the hole wall turned into a whole wall, and the things protruded from the hole raised from the hole wall, looking like part of a relief.

The whole process was very fast. We stared blankly at the changes around us, and no one spoke, because at that moment, "things" grew at all the holes, and they immediately grew into such a thing. The process was actually extremely shocking.

I even had the illusion that something was about to rush out of the wall.

When I used a flashlight to shine the things that stretched out from the hole, I found that all of them were carved out of stones like the wall of the hole. Each carved out from the hole was different. I could see at a glance that they were indeed various parts of a certain relief.

After taking a step back to the entrance of the cave, looking at the entire cave wall, I immediately understood what was going on. It turned out that the cave wall should be full of reliefs, but now it has been knocked off, and there is nothing left.

These pits are holes dug in relief, just like puzzle pieces. One piece is dug here and one piece is dug there. All the digging parts are actually embedded in the depths of those holes. Driven by the mechanism, once triggered, they will be pushed out by the machine inside, the hole is filled, and the entire picture of the relief puzzle will appear.

It's really exquisite. With such a setting, the most critical part of the relief is hidden, and can only be seen after the relief is restored.

However, when I looked at the cave wall, I was speechless. All the reliefs outside the key parts were knocked off. I said why did the cave wall look so rough?

These are very easy to infer. Xiaohua and his guy made judgments almost at the same time, and no one paid attention to the pig at once. Everyone walked towards the wall to see the parts that were pushed out.

After barely identifying, we found that the pieces of relief and carved things were different. The most obvious pieces were engraved with human hands, but they were all very blurry small hands. They were obviously the hands of the characters in the distance. Some were engraved with some difficult lines, but there were details. I saw that there was an eye engraved on one piece, which must be part of a certain face, but that eye was not a human eye, and I don’t know what kind of face it was.

There is a long view and a facial carving, this must be a relief of a narrative or scene. Thinking of this, I suddenly thought of the photos sent from Guangxi. The reliefs on it seem to be a bit similar to the reliefs here.

I immediately wanted to ask Xiaohua, but I saw that Xiaohua had already taken out the photo and compared it. After a few details, I found that it was indeed good. In the photos taken in Guangxi we saw before, among the three reliefs around the disk pattern, we found the same details as the relief pieces here.

Those hands are the hands of those portraits of ethnic minorities dressed in the photos I saw before, and that eye is exactly the same as the eyes of "门" in the photos.

It seems that the reliefs on the stone wall in Guangxi in the photo should be the reliefs on the original cave wall here, and the two are exactly the same.

"So that's the case." I thought to myself that although the reliefs here are only one piece at a time, the carving skills inside are very skillful, and the edges of the knife are very round, which are obviously exquisitely carved. But just now I discovered that the reliefs in Guangxi photos seemed to be perfunctory works by experts. It is obvious that the reliefs in Guangxi were copied or imitated.

However, what is the significance of such a setting? I thought to myself, if the relief in Guangxi, as Xiaohua said, is actually a reminder to this place, then what is the prompt?

I tried my best to figure it out, compared it with the surroundings from the photos, and wanted to find something strange. But after watching it for a long time, I didn't find any inspiring discoveries.

Around me, if I turned my back to the entrance of the cave, then the "bar" on the wall of the cave in my left hand is that "bar". If the reliefs are not pried away, the "bar" shape will definitely be very spectacular. On the wall in front of me, there should be those people without a right hand, and on the wall of the cave in my right hand, there are the ambush of the ethnic minorities.

The three holes in the photo seem to represent the holes behind me, and the order is not bad at all.

No one spoke in the whole hole, and I was looking at the photos carefully. I sat down and took a sip of wine and felt something was wrong.

Because of the patterns in the photos, I can find that those patterns are very simple and not complicated at all. This is not the kind of very fine relief engraving, and it is difficult to see any special information in simple engravings.

So I focused on the iron plate and saw that I immediately understood the problem.

There are countless complex patterns on the iron plate, but there are two large patterns, forming a cross on the iron plate, and the top of the cross has a **-shaped protrusion. The protrusion at the twelve o'clock is very large.

In the photo, the iron plate is raised at the position of the mouth, while in front of me, the iron plate is raised at the position of the hole. If this bulge represents the direction of the iron plate, then the pointer of the iron plate is pointed at the wrong position.

When I called Xiaohua over and said that, he frowned, and I said, "It seems that the pattern taken in this photo is a schematic diagram, which tells us how everything here should be placed. The iron plate can be rotated. If the iron plate is pushed to the same position as the photo, it is likely to touch the next mechanism."

Xiaohua touched the iron plate and looked at the photos, and found it very reasonable: "Do you push it clockwise or counterclockwise?"

"Generally speaking, it should be counterclockwise, but we just started the mechanism with pig blood, and the direction of the mechanism may also change. We need to push it to know." As I said that, I wanted to go up.

This time Xiaohua grabbed me: "It's better not to turn it anymore."
