Chapter 198 Biography

Monk Luo Hai said: "The young monk heard the scriptures read by Master Qi in Harris Kingdom. Afterwards, he understood the scriptures and was very enlightened. Unfortunately, what he gained was not complete. After thinking about it, I had the courage to ask Master Qi to teach the scriptures. I am willing to worship him.

If you become a disciple under Master Qi, please ask Master Qi to help you!"

The "Diamond Sutra" is so wonderful that it is no small matter. Monk Luo Hai is a man with deep roots of wisdom. Once he heard it, he immediately felt enlightened in his heart, and then he resolutely came to ask for the teaching of the sutra.

Qi Ze thought: "This person has enlightenment after listening to the Diamond Sutra, which shows that he has deep roots of wisdom and should be perfected by himself!" He then said: "I got that volume of scripture by accident. I recite it every day and it is quite valuable.

What I have realized is that since the master has the intention, he can pass it on! But the word 'Master Qi' will never be mentioned again."

Monk Luo Hai was very stubborn and said: "There is a teacher in ancient times, let alone Master Qi who taught me the Supreme Treasure Sutra? I, the young monk, should serve him as a teacher!"

Qi Ze shook his head and immediately began to recite the "Vajra Prajnaparamita Sutra". Starting from the first chapter "The Reasons for the Dharma Assembly", he taught it word by word. There have been many annotations on the "Diamond Sutra" in previous generations, and there are also some

In many versions, Qi Ze deliberately concealed them and did not teach them. He only taught the verses of this chapter to prevent Monk Luo Hai from preconceptions and delaying his understanding of the wonderful meaning of the scriptures.

Monk Luo Hai finally learned the Precious Sutra. He trembled slightly with excitement. Then he calmed down and concentrated on memorizing the sutra. The "Diamond Sutra" only had more than 5,000 words. Qi Ze finished it after passing it on for half a day. Monk Luo Hai already had a photographic memory.

If you can forget, you can recite it after listening to it only once. For fear of remembering the wrong words, you have to ask Qi Ze for advice again and again.

After Monk Luo Hai memorized the scriptures thoroughly, he couldn't help but start to understand. There are many places in the scriptures that are different from this life. For example, the place where the Buddha preached in the first chapter was in Qi Ze's previous life. Monk Luo Hai could not understand it.

I had no choice but to ask Qi Ze for help.

Qi Ze was a little embarrassed, so he had to say that this sutra was preached by the Buddha in a Buddhist kingdom, not in this world, so he managed to fool him.

Monk Luo Hai asked again which Buddha was the one who proclaimed this sutra, and Qi Ze had to explain that he was a saint from the Sakyamuni clan. Due to the karma of wisdom and destiny, he understood the righteous path and achieved supreme enlightenment.

Monk Luo Hai then asked the great Bodhisattvas present who the Arahant was, especially who the Subhuti mentioned in the sutra was.

Qi Ze sighed and explained that the Bodhisattvas and Arhats present at the meeting were all disciples of the Buddha, practicing in the pure Buddha's kingdom.

Monk Luo Hai finally stopped asking about the background of the scriptures and began to discuss the meaning of the scriptures. Qi Ze felt relieved and hurriedly followed the current and brought the topic to the meaning of the scriptures.

The two discussed the meaning of the sutra and unknowingly revealed many wonderful points. They couldn't help dancing and they were in perfect harmony. Qi Ze only had a partial understanding of Buddhism in his previous life. In this life, he practiced Zen so diligently. It was probably a matter of luck. But Monk Luo Hai

The difference was that he was an eminent monk who was carefully cultivated in the Mahabodhi Temple. His eloquence was unimpeded and he could understand the sutras deeply. Most of them relied on him to explain the meaning of the sutras, and Qi Ze secretly learned a lot.

After finishing explaining the Diamond Sutra, Monk Luo Hai suddenly lost his mind and said in his mouth: "There should be no place to live, and the mind should be born! There should be no place to live, and the mind should be born!" Tears suddenly appeared in his eyes.

Qi Ze knew that he had realized something and gained something, so he just smiled and looked at it.

Monk Luo Hai bowed to Qi Ze, stood up, said with a smile on his face: "I am now enlightened!" After saying this, the Buddha's light all over his body shone brightly, a circle of golden light appeared above his head, and a Dharmakaya jumped out from the golden light.

, with a red gold color and a compassionate face, just like his own face. Outside the Dharma body, there is a sound of chanting sutras coming from the sky, which is elusive and hard to find.

When Qi Ze saw Luo Hai's great enlightenment after listening to the sutras and his great progress in Taoism, as if the Buddha's nature was truly manifested and pure, he also sighed: "How good! How good!"

On Taichong Peak, Xiao Tianhuan heard the sound of chanting sutras and sneered: "If the master continues to tolerate traitors like this, Wufeng Mountain will sooner or later become the lower courtyard of the Great Bodhi Temple!" The place where the majestic Five Elements Sect's ancestral court actually became the place where monks preach sutras. , simply unheard of, extremely ridiculous!

Tianganzi chased out of Baiyu City and saw Xiao Tianhuan flying back to Taichong Peak. He didn't want to get into trouble again, so he turned back to Dangyang Peak and was gathering his disciples to give instructions about the three-year quarantine. He heard the lecture at the foot of Wufeng Mountain. He was slightly lost in thought, and suddenly felt a little depressed.

In the White Jade City, Tianjizi listened to the scriptures of the Diamond Sutra and heard the sentence "There should be no place to live but the mind is born." Suddenly, divine light burst out in his eyes, and suddenly there were clouds, rain and thunder outside his body, surrounding the Dharmakaya, creating a strange phenomenon. Infinite. He took out an object from his sleeve and threw it out violently!

The boy Baihe was standing outside the White Jade City, listening attentively. When he heard the sentence "There should be no place to live but the heart is born", he suddenly shed tears.

Taking advantage of the opportunity of comprehending the Diamond Sutra, Monk Luo Hai finally became enlightened and cultivated the Dharmakaya. When he cultivated the Dharma and Dharma, the golden body and Dharma disappeared in a flash. The Buddha's light all over Monk Luo Hai also converged, and his face became more kind. It was really the majestic treasure, and he clasped his hands and sighed: "This disciple's enlightenment today is all due to Master Qi's contribution!"

Qi Ze said: "There is no appearance of me, no appearance of anyone, no appearance of living beings, and no appearance of life-spanning people!" Luo Hai smiled and was about to speak when suddenly firelight flew down from Wufeng Mountain. Qi Ze reached out and took it. It turned out to be the ancient lantern. .

Qi Ze hurriedly took a closer look, and it turned out that the incense and wish power entangled in the golden flame of the Buddha's fire had disappeared. It seemed that Tianjizi's skills were so powerful that he could even erase the incense and wish power.

When monk Luo Hai saw the Diamond Sutra scriptures imprinted on the ancient lamp, he was surprised and said: "I remember that this Buddhist lamp was not imprinted with another text before. Why..."

Qi Ze shook his head and said: "I don't know, maybe because I recited the Diamond Sutra a few times, this treasure generated its own response. By the way, the Supreme Leader said that this thing was the most precious Buddha Fire Heart Lamp in Nalanda Temple back then. , have you heard about it?”

Monk Luo Hai was shocked and said in a voiceless voice: "Is this the Buddha's Fire Heart Lamp?" He took it with his hand, touched it in his palm for a long time, and said with doubts on his face: "There are seven kinds of secret Buddha treasures in the legend of Nalanda Temple, all of which have infinite uses. , the divine power is astonishing, and the Buddha Fire Heart Lamp ranks first, but because it has been extinct for a long time, no one knows what its beauty is. The disciples really don’t know what is wrong with this treasure, but Master Tianjizi said that it is Buddha's Fire Heart Lamp, it's all right. Huh?"

Turning over the ancient lampshade, he saw the rebirth mantra imprinted on it and asked: "Master Qi, this sutra is short, but it can be compared with the Diamond Sutra. I don't know what classic it is?"

Qi Ze said: "This is the rebirth mantra, which can save ghosts." Monk Luo Hai said happily: "Then please teach Master Qi too!"

Qi Ze didn't care, so he taught the Rebirth Mantra as well. The Rebirth Mantra was very short, and there was no need to study its meaning in detail. It only took one stick of incense to teach it.
