Seeing that they were so excited, Yunyao continued to stimulate them and said, "Then the kind of gentleman you promote is not the kind of gentleman that everyone likes."

"Although we did not praise Yao, Shun and Yu, we also promoted rituals and music. We also hope that everyone would 'clearly divide the group', which is the source of peace in the world. Why don't everyone like it?" Xunzi said that this question is really strange, so he said: "It seems that because of the evil nature of human nature and the lack of etiquette, everyone does not realize the benefits of a gentleman, so everyone will not fight to be a gentleman."

That's right, it must be like this. It's either their arguments are wrong, it's that human nature is too bad and the world is too bad, so everyone is confused and does not know the beauty of a gentleman, so they will naturally not cultivate themselves and become gentlemen.

"So, since that's the case, what's the same thing as desire and evil? Logically speaking, everyone should compete for scarce things, right?" Yunyao continued to ask.

The students no longer dare to speak because Yun Yao could catch the loophole. At this time, they had to look at Xunzi. He only heard him say: "I heard that merchants have a way of living. Therefore, the view that desire and hate are the same thing is not a 100% firm foothold. Xunzi has already begun to reflect.

"So what is important is good and bad themselves? It's not. What's important is the right to interpret good. If I have the right to interpret, I can sell dirt as jewelry. Not only will everyone not feel cheated, but they will be complacent." "Why did Confucius and Mencius praise Yao, Shun and Yu because they are really good? Is it because they are really perfect? ​​It's not, but because they have to get the right to interpret good. With the right to interpret good, Confucius and Mencius can make changes to the monarch and promote their own claims." "Why are you not the twelve sons? Is it because they are not doing well enough?
