Chapter 1067 Non-mainstream
Yunyao has been in the Western Church for more than ten years, and the results are very good. Many monks want to change jobs. They can also take revenge on the Western Church for a little while, who makes them always think about cutting leeks?
However, there is indeed no shortage of people in Jie Sect now, and it is not very meaningful whether monks will change jobs or not. However, if they are willing to abandon the darkness and turn to the light, Jie Sect will definitely be welcome.
The monks were struggling. Some monks thought they didn’t have to worry at all, and they could continue to be Bodhisattvas. But this obviously cannot last long. If Western religions cannot cut leeks, then all monks’ lives will be harder and harder. Although the Buddha Kingdom is still working hard to produce, the competitors faced by the Buddha Kingdom are the Immortal Alliance. Even if the Buddha Kingdom has some advantageous industries, they are still not as good as the Immortal Alliance in terms of overall competitiveness.
The Buddha Kingdom also works hard to maintain the market and find directions with great pressure.
Western teachings must maintain prosperity, which requires cost. If you cannot cut leeks, you can only rely on the monks to work hard on their own. Then the monks are unhappy. Isn’t they just practicing to escape from the sea of suffering? Is it to jump from one sea of suffering to another?
The first step to escape from the sea of suffering is to get out of production and to get out of labor.
If you have been working hard and your body cannot get rest, how can you escape from the sea of suffering? The existence of the Buddha's kingdom is that it seriously violates the Dharma. If you work so hard to produce products, can you still practice Buddhism?
Many Bodhisattvas and Buddhas enjoy the funds provided by the Buddha's kingdom while criticizing that the Buddha's kingdom violated the doctrine.
Although everyone has Buddha nature, Buddhism restricted workers from becoming Buddhas from the beginning. For example, if they do not kill animals, how can workers not kill animals when they work? It is not normal for a hoe to kill a earthworm. A ground silkworm is still a normal thing? If you turn over a piece of land, you have to kill something.
Then can't the workers become Buddhas?
The first practice was to meditate with ease, and the workers would definitely not have time to meditate. If they don’t work, who would support them?
Therefore, although Buddhism claims that everyone becomes a Buddha, obstacles are set up everywhere in the process of practice. It was not until the emergence of Zen Buddhism that the problem of workers becoming Buddhas was completely solved. Zen Buddhism is sudden enlightenment, so workers work when they should work, and when they realize it, they put down their hoes and become Buddhas on the ground.
But in Western religions, Zen is actually very powerful and easy to understand. After all, practice does not only depend on talent, but also requires resources. Many believers in Zen are ordinary people, so where can they have so many resources?
Besides, Zen Buddhism has only appeared for a thousand years, and the precepts such as not killing have appeared for a long time. There are many monks who have practiced according to this precept. And there are very few people who have successfully practiced according to Zen Buddhism.
Besides, the Tathagata did not talk about sudden enlightenment, so although Master Huineng created sudden enlightenment and opened up a broad market for Western teaching, Master Huineng’s own status in Western teaching was very embarrassing, and he was not as good as Jin Chanzi and Fighting and Fighting Buddha.
Master Huineng is considered a straw dog in Western religion and has made great contributions, but Western religion will not repay him anything, but instead hides him.
Fortunately, Master Huineng is a master after all, so he is calm. But he is a little disappointed when he sees the chaos in Western religion. He doesn't care about the treatment he receives, but is just dissatisfied with the current situation of Western religion.
As monks, they are blushing for resources, the chaotic and chaotic Western Paradise is really too philosophical. Why are they monks who do not follow the precepts and grab resources when they see them, and they also turn a blind eye to the people struggling in the sea of suffering and keep saying that they want to help them escape from the sea of suffering, but in fact, they hope that the people will stay in the sea of suffering, but the value created by the people must be handed over. The current situation of Western religion is so sad.
"It is said to be free from the sea of suffering, but in the end it is impossible to give up on cultivation. In the end, everyone's goal is to snatch resources to become a Buddha, rather than become enlightened people." Master Huineng saw that the problem with Western teaching is that Western teaching is also a sect of practice. What they seek is to become an immortal, not enlightenment.
Only by putting the cart before the horse and becoming an enlightened person is truly becoming a Buddha, and pursuing resource improvement is just becoming an immortal. What is the difference between becoming an immortal and outside monks?
Becoming an immortal does not mean becoming a Buddha. All the monks in the past made mistakes. Master Huineng believed that the goal of becoming a Buddha is to open up wisdom and become enlightened. Cultivating an immortal is to pursue magic power and refine magic weapons and elixirs.
Huineng believes that if you want to solve the problems of Western religion, you must first give up the obsession of becoming an immortal. Only in this way can you give up resources and practice Buddhism with peace of mind.
This will definitely not be popular with everyone. Western religion has been a sect since the age of monks, and it will be changed as soon as possible? Huineng is just a non-mainstream monk and is not qualified to make such a request.
However, Huineng still wants to say that not only in the Buddha's Kingdom, but also in Lingshan. "We have gone astray now. Cultivating immortals does not mean cultivating Buddha. We cannot jump from one sea of suffering to another." He was heartfelt.
"Why did we jump from one sea of suffering to another? Through practice, we are free from birth, old age, sickness and death, which means we are free from the sea of suffering." The monk retorted.
"But cultivating immortals will also die. The five declines of heaven and man, disasters, and various other reasons will also die. Moreover, in order to compete for resources for cultivating immortals, Western religions are still spreading suffering, which is wrong. Cultivating immortals is obsession, we should let go and work hard to become enlightened people." Huineng hopes that Western religions consume less resources and operate at the lowest cost, so that they can last long.
"It's nonsense." The monk didn't care, no one could stop them from practicing.
If the monk does not practice, then Western religion will become a leek. Wouldn't it be a man who serves as a steward? Huineng is just a thousand-year-old monk, with a short and refuting experience and no words.
The situation in the three realms is so critical. Now is the time to practice hard. How can we give up practicing? What does it mean to cultivate immortality mean to cultivate Buddha. If you don’t cultivate immortality, just becoming an enlightened person is still killed by a magic weapon?
But Huineng said: "Why should you be happy to die in life? The most important thing in becoming a Buddha is the middle way, which is to be calm and get rid of inner anxiety. However, cultivation of immortals arises because of anxiety, fearing that one’s cultivation is not as good as one’s, fearing that one’s magic weapon is not as good as one, fearing that one’s fear of this and that, how can one not be anxious in his heart? In anxiety, in hell, how can one become a Buddha and save all sentient beings?"
Unfortunately, the more Huineng said that, the more the monk ignored him.
However, the Great Sage of Monkey King thought that what Huineng said made sense, at least it was easier to understand than his master Tang Seng.
Tang Seng is an international student with high education, while Huineng is an illiterate person. Can Huineng’s preaching be easy to understand? The Monkey King may not be unable to understand Tang Seng’s Buddhist teachings, but he prefers the simple and easy to understand Huineng.
If the Monkey King is really willing to study it, Tang Seng’s Consciousness-Only Sect will definitely understand it. However, he is not very interested, so just listen to Master Huineng’s Buddhist teachings.
It's simple enough. Moreover, Huineng does have the desire to save all living beings, and it does give ideas to reduce costs based on chaos. Of course, the Great Sage also feels that the path of not practicing cannot be done. After all, there are many enemies of Western religions. If a monk gives up his cultivation, he will definitely be liquidated.
However, it is still very interesting to listen to it. Many of Master Huineng's theories are very popular with the great saints. Unfortunately, the great saint is willing to listen to it. Other Bodhisattvas and Buddhas ignore him at all, just think that he is the air, ignore him directly, and do not argue with him.
This disappointed Huineng. He opened up a market for enlightenment, not asking Western religions to repay him, but only hoped that Western religions could be a good example to escape from the sea of suffering, rather than verbally escape from the sea of suffering, but actually rolling in the sea of suffering.
