"The theory of Qi training has existed since ancient times. However, people have almost never seen those real Qi training men. Even I can only do some of the legendary Qi training men."

If you want to mobilize the vitality of heaven and earth, you need to use your own qi to guide the surrounding qi. But as I said before, qi is invisible and intangible. How can you have qi yourself? This is the first and biggest problem when practicing qi. The first step is that you need to have qi first."

"Master, we have always been concealing ourselves as Taoist priests. Therefore, we have also learned some Taoist breathing methods. But apart from strengthening our bodies, we have not felt the existence of qi. Is it our method wrong?"

"It's hard to say. No one dares to say that the Dharma passed down from the Taoist sect must be false. However, the Dharma has not changed, and the times will change. According to my understanding, the vital energy between heaven and earth is actually changing. It's not a change of quantity, but an active or not. Simply put, from ancient times to now, the vital energy of heaven and earth should be getting lazy."

"Environment is not a human being, why do you become lazy?"

"Let me say this. If we compare the vitality of heaven and earth to water. In ancient times, water was water. Whoever could find it, drink it, it would be fine. In modern times, water has turned into ice. It is not enough to find water. You still need to melt it before you can drink it. This makes drinking water even more difficult.

And as time goes by, the ice will become harder and harder until one day, ordinary fire will not be able to melt it. At that time, we will be completely unable to drink water. This is what Buddhism calls the Dharma-Ending Age."

After Lu Xuan finished speaking, the three disciples fell into deep thought. After a while, the knowledgeable Partridge Whistle was the first to react.

"I probably understand what Master means. It is already so difficult to practice Taoism now. Do we really have hope?"
