8. Chapter 8

Everyone present was stunned, and goose bumps suddenly popped up behind them.

The heavy armored cavalry pulled the reins with a clang, and in an instant, it formed a half-encircled circle. Mio even shouted directly: "Draw the sword!"

The surrounded heavy armored cavalry seemed a little confused. He turned his head left and right and looked at it for a few times, and hurriedly said, "You have recognized the wrong person?! I have never been in any dungeon!"

Kevin touched the short knife on his waist and stood in the half-encircled gap, blocking the cavalry's only way out, without looking back, saying, "Xiao, have you seen it clearly?"

"I remember his hand, the missing little finger was bitten by my fellow tribe." Xiao Duding said: "The bite marks are still there, so you can't be wrong."

The cavalry looked at his fingers and shook his head and said, "Can you recognize people by just looking at your hands? It's too arbitrary! Do you remember your face? Wait, I'll take off my first armor and talk about it after you look at your face."

The armor around him was solid and heavy, and when he raised his hand and turned his head, he could hear the clanging sound of metal collision. In this tense atmosphere, there was a kind of indescribable horror.

"I will take off the head armor and show you. You must have recognized the wrong person, you must have admitted it..." The cavalryman muttered and pressed around his neck.

"Click" sounds one after another, and the buckles are loosened one by one.

At that moment, everyone's nerves became a bow-opening string, and all the details seemed to be pulled into slow motion.

The cavalry lifted his head armor and showed a panicked and harmless baby face, with a scar on his neck. He walked a few steps towards Kevin with an expression eagerly, getting closer to Xiao: "You must have admitted your mistake, right?"

"It's you!" Xiao shouted.

Just as he spoke, the baby face suddenly collapsed, like a rubber doll that was being vented, and her young and plump skin instantly sagged.

"Dangerous! Get out of here!" Kevin shouted.

He pushed Ban and Mai away suddenly, flipped backwards, and moved out of the way.

The heavy armor worn by the baby face suddenly lost its support and fell to the ground with a "bang". It also fell to the ground with the heavy armor, and there was a pair of empty skins.

A wind made of fine sand swirled rapidly above the armor and skin, like a twisted long snake.

"Sand Ghost!"

The scream was like boiling water droplets into boiling oil, and instantly exploded. The neighing sound of horses and metal collision sounded in chaos.

"Only one! Go!" The heavy armored cavalry team roared and rushed over in an instant.

The reason why sand ghosts are difficult to deal with is two points: one is that when teams of sand ghosts appear, people will experience short-term obstruction of the ears and ears, and the other is that they often turn into sand shapes, which are too fluid and difficult to hit the key points.

However, being difficult to kill does not mean being unable to kill, and being difficult does not mean having no weaknesses.

Having been dealing with the Sand Ghost for too many years, Kevin and the others can find out the way—

For example, when the sand ghost turns into a sand shape, it seems to be boneless, but in fact it still has a life gate. The flowing fine sand wraps their hearts, and as long as they hit it, they will definitely die.

For example, what sand ghosts fear the most is water. When they appear in the shape of sand, as long as they are dripping with enough water, their movements will become slow and stagnant, and then they are forced to land and transform into humans.

Of course, the sand ghost is extremely fast. When it comes to the right, you may not be able to use the way you know.

But now there is only one!

A sand ghost cannot cause eye and ear obstruction!

"More than 30 heavy armored cavalry and ten bronze elite soldiers, including three giant orcs, besieging a sand ghost. I feel embarrassed if I kill you! If I can't kill you, I will pull my head down as a ball!" Mio rushed forward with his sword, slashed his long arm, and wanted to push Kevin, who had only a short sword, to the back.

Something is wrong!

It’s even worse if only one sand ghost is!

Kevin grabbed Mio's collar and threw him aside. At the same time, he rushed to the people who were besieging, "Get back!"

Before he could finish his speech, the heavy armored cavalry who rushed in front had already stabbed into the rotating sand nest with one sword. The sword was ruthless and accurate, with a very powerful force, and even half of his arm was gone.

"It's the heart!" The man shouted, his arm was stretched, and he wanted to use the force to directly dissect the sand ghost's heart.

The sand ghost swung away quickly like a snake, avoiding his back move.

"Ha! Run away-" The man sneered and pulled his sword and hit it again, but he suddenly stopped after saying two words.

His pupils shrank suddenly, and he stared at his hand holding the sword with wide eyes.

Hearing a "clang" sound, the heavy sword fell to the ground. The first half of the man's arm that had just stabbed into the sand nest suddenly changed, and it began to turn into fine sand from his fingertips and spilled on the ground. In the blink of an eye, he reached his elbow.

"Ahhhhhh--" the man screamed in horror.

The forearm that had just touched the sand ghost had disappeared. The naked elbow joints were covered with white bones and blood. A pile of fine sand on the ground was blown by the wind and scattered, and was sucked away by the twisting sand ghost in the air, becoming a part of him.

The situation I had never seen before made everyone stunned, and the entire Crow's Nest and Waste Temple fell into a dead silence at that moment.

A squishy and terrifying smile came from the sand, which made everyone shocked.

"Retreat!" Kevin shouted loudly, and instantly pulled everyone back to their minds.

The cavalry who rushed in front suddenly pulled the reins and turned around and was about to run, but it was too late. The amazing movement speed of the sand ghost was so desperate at this time.

In the blink of an eye, he wrapped the armless cavalry into the sand, stayed for two seconds, and then continued without attachment.

The cavalry screamed like a sudden death knell.

when--

Another cavalry that landed at the end was wrapped in a sand ghost and died without a complete body.

when--

The horse eagle without its master was swept by the sand ghost, and it began to turn into fine sand from its tail, then the body, huge wings, and head.

Osvid has already turned over and recently, shaking the reins, and stretching out his arm in a rush, shouting at Kevin: "Come up!"

Kevin grabbed it and sat behind him in a blink of an eye.

"Let's go! Hurry!" Mio shouted frantically behind him. The wings of the horse-evil under him blew up a huge wind, blew down countless young trees. If it was faster, it would really fly.

More than 40 giant eagles galloped at the same time, with a huge momentum almost flattening the entire border suburbs.

Xiao and the others' reaction speed was much faster than that of the cavalry, and in the blink of an eye it turned into beastly shape.

The three beasts ran wildly, and the speed was no less than that of the winged eagle. Because it was too fast, the muscles around the body were even deformed by the wind.

"Ahhhhh--" At the end, there was another scream, and nothing unexpected happened, it stopped suddenly.

Everyone didn't even have time to look back, just thinking about getting faster! Get faster!

The cry for help that came to an abrupt end spread from a little far behind to nearby places.

Kevin could even feel sand rubbing against his back. He suddenly grabbed the abdomen of the horse eagle, making the horse eagle a little faster.

"Hurry up!" Osvid's voice was almost blown away by the wind.

This reminder was not redundant at all. Kevin was so bumped that he could hardly touch the back of the horse. If he had been faster, he would probably have been thrown out.

At the deadly moment, no one had the time to be mean. Kevin didn't say anything, his left arm hooked Osvid's sturdy waist, held the short knife in his right hand, and turned his head to look.

"Do you fucking want to live? Where is your right hand?!" Osvid roared.

Kevin no longer cared about letting him shut up because he found that there were only less than ten people left in the original forty people, and the twisted sand snake was still chasing him.

Because the speed is too fast and the frequency of up and down is too high, Kevin couldn't even see which ones there were. He could only vaguely hear Mio's roar in pieces by the wind: "Damn it, I'm not finished with these beasts!!!"

With just this sentence, the sand ghost melted three more people and horses, and in the blink of an eye it was posted behind Kevin...

While tightly holding the reins, Osvid also had to be distracted from caring behind him to avoid throwing Kevin out directly.

But soon, he heard the rubbing sound of sand coming, so close that it seemed to swallow Kevin and headed straight to his back.

"Kevin!" Osvid didn't even have time to shout four words, so he called his name directly.

He vaguely felt the person behind him stiffen for a moment. God knew that at that moment, he almost even exploded his scalp.

I don't know if it's because of death or something else.

He didn't even care about danger and turned around and looked over.

From his perspective, he could only see half of Kevin's body. The sand ghost had already been attached, as if he was wrapping Kevin's body in. At least his right hand had been flooded with sand.

Osvid's breathing stagnated, and an indescribable feeling grabbed all of his thoughts.

Immediately afterwards, a flash of eyes appeared before his eyes. The sand ghost suddenly changed the entity in the air, raised his hand and gave a blow.

Osvid only felt a sudden pain in the back of his head, and his eyes were completely dark.
