Chapter 33 Duel Club
Since the rumors that Fred was attacked and was lying in the hospital half-deadly spread among the little wizards, the students were in a state of suspicion.
The first-year freshmen gathered together in groups of three or five, fearing that they would be attacked if they acted alone.
Of course, some of the little wizards of Slytherin are very satisfied with this. What they want to do the most is to figure out who is the heir who will do such a great thing.
At this moment when everyone is in danger, news that the school is going to open a duel club has spread.
Draco, who had been taught a lesson, worked hard for three days and learned several black magic defense spells with Brian. It has to be said that he has excellent talent in spells. But he quickly lost interest. He prefers those evil curses that prank people and some slightly evil little black magic.
For example, he really wanted to turn Ron Weasley into a pig's nose monster.
Draco looked at the notice on the bulletin board and slowly said, "Tonight, 8 o'clock, let's see how it's going to see, Brian?"
"Yes." Brian nodded. There should be a witness point this time, and he is still looking forward to going to see it.
"It would be better that Porter and the others would go, too." Draco said proudly, he had just learned the disarming curse from Brian. "I can't wait to teach them a lesson."
At 8 o'clock in the evening, many young wizards came to the auditorium together. The long dining table in the auditorium was replaced with a gilded stage, with hundreds of candles floating above it, and the night sky displayed on the ceiling was as dark as velvet.
Almost all the students in the school came, and the students were crowded together, each holding their own wand with excitement on their faces.
"I don't know which professor will teach us." Daphne looked expectant and held her wand tightly in her hand.
"It must be Professor Snape, of course, Professor Flitvie can do it," Draco said.
"I'm afraid things won't be so good." Brian said playfully, "You know, duels are closely related to the black magic defense."
"No..." Daphne opened her mouth. Pansy next to her looked at the stage with red cheeks and screamed.
Draco and Brees groaned.
Lockhart, wearing a purple-red robe, walked onto the stage. He looked glorious and smiled as if he was filming a toothpaste advertisement. He opened his arms to greet the cheers of the many little witches.
Snape stood beside him, wearing a black robe, and his face seemed to be attending a funeral.
"At least Professor Snape is..." Daphne said powerlessly.
Lockhart waved his hand to calm everyone down and shouted: "Come around, come around! Can everyone see it? Very good!"
“Dumbledore allowed me to start this small duel club so that everyone can learn the skills of self-defense, just as I have always done – for more details, please pay attention to my published works!”
"I'll introduce my assistant, Professor Snape," Lockhart grinned, "he told me that he knew a little about the duel and volunteered to come and assist me and give you a small demonstration!"
Snape's face turned darker. He stared at Lockhart with an unprecedented gloomy gaze, as if he was about to pull out his wand and recite the life-seeking curse after he said half a word.
But Lohart was still smiling, as if he was unaware of it.
"I really don't know why Professor Snape was willing to do such an outrageous thing." Brees said, holding his shoulders.
"He probably wants us to really learn something useful, too." Brian looked at Snape on the stage with a clear look. The low pressure on his body was almost turning into black mist. "You know, we didn't learn anything in the black magic defense class, and we are now threatened by the secret room."
"Yes, Professor Snape is the best. Why didn't the principal allow him to serve as professor of black magic defense?" Daphne said.
"Obviously, if he was a professor of the Dark Magic Defense Arts class, he would probably have to stay with us for a year." Theodore interjected, "There has been more than a few years in this position."
"I really don't understand why the school doesn't cancel this course." Daphne played with the wand in her hand.
"It's going to start!" Draco shouted, "No matter what, I think Lohart needs to be taught a serious lesson!"
On the stage, Lohat and Snape turned to face each other. Lohat bowed exaggeratedly, and his hands were turning a lot of tricks, like a peacock with open screen. Snape just moved his head impatiently.
Then, they held their wands to their chests like swords, and then suddenly raised them over their shoulders.
"Give up your weapons!" shouted Snape.
A dazzling red light hit Lohart, who had not yet reacted, and he flew backwards out of the stage, hitting the wall, then slipped down and curled up on the floor. His wand was thrown high with a spin, and was caught by Snape.
"Oh, it's great!" Draco and others applauded, and even Brees clapped his palms reservedly. Pansy covered his mouth exaggeratedly, wondering whether he should cheer or express concern.
"This is so handsome!" Daphne looked at Snape with bright eyes and said with admiration.
Brian smiled and applauded, nodded, "Yes, he is a person worthy of respect and admiration."
But only these people were applauding and applauding, and most of them looked at Lockhart with concern. You know, Snape is not very popular with students from other colleges.
Lockhart staggered and stood up. He walked onto the stage, holding his hands up and told everyone that this was just a demonstration. "I cooperated well. You know, Professor Snape's intention to use this move is too obvious. If I want to stop it, it will be effortless!"
Snape stared at him with a murderous look on his face, his upper lip curled up and his teeth showed.
Lockhart seemed to find Snape's expression a little scary. He waved his hand to tell everyone to finish the demonstration and put the students into a pair of exercises.
Snape walked to Harry and the other two first and sneered: "Of course, our famous savior needs a good opponent to show his might. Potter, you and..."
Snape's eyes glanced between Brian and Draco, narrowed his eyes and said, "You are in the same group as Foley. Weasley, you are in the same group as Malfoy."
"As for you, Miss Granger, you can pair with Miss Greengrass." He glanced at Brian and said coldly.
Brian looked at Snape's gloomy gaze, and he seemed to be looking forward to Porter being taught a good lesson by himself.
"Oh." Brian sighed softly and met Harry's eyes. He didn't want to participate in this kind of game of bullying children.
Draco seemed a little regretful, but he was eager to try it out. It would be nice to teach Weasley a lesson.
Daphne walked to Hermione reluctantly, she would rather be in the same group with Pansy.
"Faced with your partner!" Lockhart shouted on the stage at this time, "Bow!"
Brian bowed gracefully, and Harry completed the same move. The two looked at each other quietly, and Brian thought about how to expose him to the snake-hearted accent.
"Rise up your wand and be ready!" said Lohat, "I count to three and I will use magic. Remember, just use your weapon! One, two, three--"
"Except your weapon!" Brian gave Harry some reaction time, then waved his wand, and a red light hit Harry, causing him to fly backwards. His wand came out of his hand and fell into Brian's hand.
Apparently Harry's first disarming curse did not work.
On the other hand, Draco took the lead when Lohat counted to "two". His disarming spell hit Ron, and Ron's wand flew out and fell to the ground and cracked into two pieces.
Draco stared at the fallen Ron maliciously, turned the wand in his hand into a flower, and recited another spell to him.
The battle between Hermione and Daphne was much more peaceful. The two of them used disarming spells to fire subtle red sparks at each other.
The two of them pointed at each other with their wands and moved slightly, staring at each other with their eyes tightly. The curse was ready to go, and they wanted to knock the other over.
Other groups are also in a lot of situations.
Neville's spell did not control his power, and he and his opponent were overturned to the ground by the spell and lay on the ground panting.
Simo Feinigan's curse was out of control. Dean Thomas, who was in the same group, was blown away and fainted directly on the ground. His face was black and his hair turned into a charred explosive head.
Some wizards were sitting on the ground and unable to get up, while others were bleeding profusely... Lohat was so anxious that he was whirling around, shouting loudly, but he couldn't control the scene.
Draco's curse fell on Ron, turning his nose into a pig's nose, and making constant grunting sounds. Draco covered his stomach and laughed.
Hermione and Daphne's spell fell on each other, and the two flew out at the same time, and the wand came out.
Brian looked at Harry who was staggering and threw his wand back into his hand.
"Continue, Harry Potter." Brian whispered, "The spell should be shorter, and the wand should be swung slightly at the end."
"Give up your weapon!" The two of them recited a spell at the same time. After Brian moved sideways and avoided, Harry flew out again.
"Well, it seems you need a better opponent." Brian threw Harry's wand to him.
He threw Outer, who was leaning on him tonight, pointed at it with his wand:
“Get bigger quickly!”
