Chapter 28 Thestral

"I don't have any real information, Hermione. Of course, there may be some noteworthy news, which I need to pay attention to next."

Brian looked quietly at the little witch in front of him and said in a soft voice. He could not really tell anything, it would only expose himself or cause trouble for Draco's father.

"You are perfunctory, Brian!" Hermione's lips trembled slightly, "Or you don't care at all? People like us won't affect you anyway? In your eyes, what are we, ha? Mud breeds?"

"Don't say this word, Hermione, you know I won't think that way." Brian frowned.

He could not tell Hermione that she would be fine and that the snake monster would not attack her.

"Okay, Brian." Hermione calmed down, and she said with a frown, "Sorry, I was a little excited just now, making you embarrassed...I, I'll leave first."

She wiped the corners of her eyes, picked up the book on the lectern and ran out of the classroom hurriedly.

Brian stood in the empty classroom, like a statue.

Hermione ran back to the Gryffindor Common Lounge with her book in her arms, her eyes slightly red.

"What's wrong, Hermione?" Harry said with some concern.

"Did Foley bully you?" Ron said angrily, "I'll teach him a lesson!"

"Nothing," Hermione took a deep breath and said calmly, "Let's continue to configure compound decoctions. In tomorrow's potion class, we have to take the opportunity to steal potion materials."

"Didn't you say that Foley has installed a bottle of compound decoction?" Ron said.

"If it was stolen, idiots would think of what that would be used for!" Hermione's eyes seemed to be looking at some single-celled creature.

...

Brian walked out of the classroom and sighed softly.

The little witch believed that he knew some inside story, and there was nothing he could do about it. Perhaps, some things would eventually go further and further away.

He walked aimlessly in the castle, somehow he turned to the corridor where Luna often stayed, and unexpectedly saw her there.

Luna was fiddling with a weird-looking glasses and looked up and smiled at him.

"Hass flies, you are really favored by them." Her tone was like a dream.

"You said, if there is something very important to do but you may lose a friendship, what would you do?" Brian whispered as he looked at the sunset that was gradually closing outside the window.

"Don't do it, or change it." Luna's tone was light, and her silver eyes looked at Brian with hazy eyes. "I always think that friends are the most precious."

“What if this matter is very important?”

"Since it's very important, why not tell your friends? Friends will understand you in the end." Luna said.

"Is that?" Brian sighed softly, stopping thinking.

"If there is something in the castle called 'death', where do you think it will be?" he said. These days he also tried to find the so-called 'death', but he did not find it anywhere.

He even tried to look for a house that asked for anything, but it was obvious that the house that asked for something was not really a house that asked for something.

"Ghost?" Luna said lightly.

"No, it shouldn't be a ghost."

"So you are looking for this to ask the ghost?"

"Yes."

"Why try to give you the way?" Luna tilted her head.

"Maybe you can try it." Brian pondered, "I can look for the Eagle Hedges to see if they can take me to find it."

"Is there a nightshade in school?" Luna's voice seemed to be singing.

"There is a bunch in the Forbidden Forest." Brian nodded, "they will help pull the carriage."

"Do you want to see them?" Brian said.

"Okay, that must be very interesting." The little witch's smile was very pure.

The little wizards coming and going in the corridor gradually became rare. The two of them first went to the kitchen, then quietly walked out of the castle and passed through the venue. In the afterglow of the sunset, the forbidden forest seemed dark and gloomy.

The two of them had nothing to talk to, but they actually didn't have much language in common. In the past, Brian would feel embarrassed, but at this time he liked this atmosphere a little.

"It's still very dangerous in the forbidden forest." Brian warned.

"Of course, I know." Luna said softly.

"Then you dare to come here with me?"

"I think since you invite me to come together, you must be fully prepared." Luna's voice merged into the light evening breeze, making it even more erratic.

"You just trust me so?" Brian said helplessly, "I'm also a little wizard."

"Because you are my friend." Luna's shallow eyes widened and she glanced in the dark forest, "So I trust you."

Brian let out a soft sigh. He took out a few bloody pieces of meat from the bag, which they had just taken in the kitchen.

He waved his wand and a breeze blew through it, allowing the smell of blood to drift further away.

The smell of blood may not necessarily attract the Night Theatre. Brian drove away a large bat and fainted several silver wolf, and then waited for the two Night Theatres.

Their huge bat-like wings were squeezing on both sides of their bodies, their dragon-like heads, and their white eyes were shining with mysterious light.

Brian walked over with the pieces of meat, gently patted one of the hedges' wings, and handed it the pieces of meat. He watched it eat the pieces of meat into his mouth in one bite.

"Is this thehals?" Luna fed the other one, stretched out her hand to stroke the long mane behind its head.

"Yeah, only those who have seen death can see them," Brian said. "So I think they may have some relationship with death."

"Of course, these night hedges in the school have been domesticated and are very gentle. The wild night hedges are very dangerous."

"Do you know where there is death in the castle?" Brian stroked Ye Hedge's neck and said with a gentle voice. He knew that this creature had great wisdom.

Yeshi blinked his shiny white eyes, leaned down slightly, and let Brian climb up.

The two hedges ran in the jungle at a very fast speed. Luna sat on the back of the other, holding its mane tightly with her hands, and looking around with wide eyes and interested.

They saw the corpses of several animals, but it was obvious that this was not what Brian was looking for. Then, the Theatre carried them through the grounds and flew around the castle. The howling wind blew through his ears, making Bryan clench the Theatre's mane.

The ancient castle was red and looked extremely magical by the setting sun. The hedges flew around the castle for several times, which caused the exclamation of several little wizards, and then flew back to the forbidden forest and landed lightly on the ground, as if they were just carrying them to play for a while.

Brian was sure they had been hovering outside the school hospital for a long time, probably because they had noticed Clivie's situation.

Brian's paradise licked the back of his hand and turned around and stared at him with white eyes for a long time. The two slid down from their backs, watching them slowly disappear into the jungle.

"What an interesting experience." Luna's long golden hair was even more messy by the wind, and she looked in a good mood.

"Yes, although I didn't find what I was looking for," said Brian, feeling much better. "But we were seen."

"Riding something that others can't see, flew around the entire castle a few times..." Brian shook his head, "I'm upset next."

They rushed back to the castle before nightfall. I have to say that it was really good without Felch staring at him.

Brian watched Luna's back disappear from the corner, turned around and walked down the stairs, and returned to the lounge.

"Bryan, I see you! You and the crazy girl!" Brees waved at him, "How did you make yourself fly in the air?"

Many people looked at him curiously.

"Nothing, it's just a nightshade." Brian said.

"Well, to be honest, your flying posture is so weird that it's embarrassing." Draco laughed, "If it were me, I wouldn't fly like this in public even if I died."

"Did you see it too?" Brian raised his eyebrows. Not so many people should have seen it.

"Oh, Brees took a few photos for you." Draco dragged his tone.

Brian then found that there were several photos on their table. The two people in the photo were flying in the air on black pegasus, their hair and robe were blown by the wind. If they ignored the riding paradise, their postures would indeed appear exaggerated and funny.

"Wait," Brian looked at the photos steadily, "Why did he take the Hedge?"

Theatres have a trait that requires people who have seen deaths to see them. Bryan always thinks they are just invisible, but those who meet the conditions can see through that invisibility.

But after seeing the photo, Brian realized that he was wrong. If he really followed his ideas, the image of the Hedge should not be captured in the photo. The camera should not be able to capture invisible things.

"So, the Hedge is not invisible." Bryan murmured, "It exists there, but people turn a blind eye to it because the conditions are not met..."

"So, is it the same as 'death'?"

"Those who are always there, never hide, but who do not meet the conditions will never find it."

"So, what's the condition? Why Colin Clivi?"
