Chapter 21 Accidents

"Over, come here." Brian's hissing sound was heard.

The silver snake shook its tail and swam leisurely along the tabletop, staring at its small red eyes, looking quite wise.

Overgrown was fast, now more than two feet long, with silver scales glittering with a beautiful sheen.

"Master, is there anything wrong?" Over hissed softly, but Brian barely understood.

These days he has been learning the serpent accent and serpent from Slytherin's portraits. For this reason, he had to use his last testimony to language runes, which made him seem less stupid.

Tom was urging him to release the Basilisk quickly, not wanting him to waste his time. Brian was a little puzzled why Tom was so passionate about this matter.

If he had not chosen to open a secret room to attack the students, but instead silently devour Ginny's life, he would have been resurrected.

Brian couldn't understand Tom's brain circuit, so he could only attribute everything to Tom's brain being really broken by himself.

Brian had other ideas about the plot's progress.

It was rare that he was able to master the progress of the plot this year, so he decided to test the acquisition mechanism of the witness point.

In the first incident, he wanted to control the basilisk attack Mrs. Loris on the eve of Halloween, with the purpose of testing whether the heir had any impact on him.

This is the premise of everything.

Of course, another important reason is that he must limit the ability of the Basilisk.

A few days ago, he used a teenage mouse to test it. The pair of glasses left by Slytherin can indeed effectively isolate the magic of the snake monster's eyes, which is good news.

But for others, the snake monster is too evil and dangerous.

The basilisk monster's several attacks in the original work did not kill anyone, which was definitely a great luck. He couldn't guarantee what would happen if he had his own intervention.

It is true that Brian is an egoist and does not care about harming others and making good for himself, but he is not so crazy that he strengthens himself by killing his classmates.

What's more, once someone really dies, things will be a big deal, and Brian has no way to go.

Brian's plan is to let several people petrify for a period of time and maintain the plot of the original work. Why not get the most profit at the lowest cost?

Brian knew that only by looking directly at the Basilisk would kill him. He wanted to ensure that no one would directly see the Basilisk's eyes.

This is difficult to control, but it doesn't seem so difficult to solve if you make a fuss from the source.

Maybe he could put a pair of "glasses" on the basilisk.

So he was recently studying the goggles he took from his home, which have two special abilities: the ability to automatically resize and shape to fit any creature, and it will become invisible when worn.

And Brian tries to add another ability to it: indestructible.

You should know that when the snake monster activates its ability, its gaze is likely to corrode glass and other things.

After many attempts and guidance from Slytherin's portrait, Brian finally discovered that he did not have the ability to make stable multi-powered alchemy items.

He planned to chant a mantra to the goggles directly. Although it would not last too long, it would still be feasible to control the time of each use.

After several tests, Brian got various data and got the best solution.

The basilisk was not obedient, but fortunately it could not disobey Brian's orders, which was very good news.

While Brian was preparing for the plot, Brees Shabini also celebrated his birthday.

During the summer vacation, Brian and the other two reached a tacit understanding and fooled him once on Brees' birthday, at least making him realize his problem.

At Brees' birthday party, Bryan handed him a bottle of drink. After Brees drank it, his whole body turned like a colorful marquee, shining with dazzling light, making him a well-deserved focus in everyone's eyes.

Draco smiled wickedly and put hundreds of specially customized fireworks on the venue. They circled and shone in the air, forming a sentence: Happy birthday to Brees Shabini, Brees is the most handsome, Brees is invincible in the world...

The shining fireworks illuminated the night sky like daytime, and countless little wizards ran out to watch and talked about those sentences.

Theodore prepared eighteen big-mouthed tree frogs. Their green bodies were tied with pink ribbons, surrounded by Brees, singing exaggerated songs in a loud voice: Who is the best person in the world? Brees Shabini! Beautiful and smart? Brees Shabini...

Daphne covered her eyes involuntarily and handed Brees a bundle of flowers chirping.

Brees stood at the focus of everyone's eyes, holding the large ball of flowers, changing colors from top to bottom, like a neon light decorated with bright colors.

He stood there for a while, then laughed loudly and hummed to the song.

"Oh, it's great! This is the best birthday I've ever had!" Brees was still sighing the next day, ignoring the strange gazes of the little wizards around him, and seemed a little unsatisfied.

"Of course, some of the lyrics are still a bit exaggerated." He coughed lightly, "But this birthday is really perfect!"

"They are all watching you!" Draco covered his face and faced the gaze of all the little wizards. He felt embarrassed to stand with Brees.

"Ha, so what?" Brees raised his head proudly, "It's just the jealousy of a group of mediocre people, that won't affect me at all."

"Okay, you go first, we'll be there later." Theodore stopped with a face.

Looking at Brees's back as he left, Draco covered his face and said, "What made his aesthetic distort into this? His mother is obviously a very tasteful beauty!"

"It's probably because of his mother. You know the situation in his family..." Brian sighed helplessly. The perverts were speculating on how long Mrs. Shabini's seventh husband could last.

Theodore pursed his lips and said, "Maybe we should consider how to deal with him when we celebrate our birthday."

Brian and Draco looked at each other and guessed what kind of nightmare it would be.

...

An accident always comes inadvertently, beyond all plans.

There was something big about Gryffindor when there was two days left before Halloween, which alarmed the entire school.

First grade Colin Clivie never woke up after falling asleep one night.

The professors sent the unconscious boy to the school hospital, but everyone was helpless.

"No one is better at dealing with this situation than me!" Lockhart swears. He waved his wand and tried to chant a spell at Cliver, and was driven out of the room by Mrs. Pomfrey.

"Abus, the soul of this child is gone. You must find it, otherwise I have no choice." Mrs. Pomfrey said with a worried look on her face.

"Has it been pulled away by something?" Professor McGonagall's tone was even more snorted, "Then this is no different from death."

"No, Minerva." Dumbledore's blue eyes focused on Clivie, "It's like a soul-leaving, the soul seems to be trapped by something, but the soul and the body are still closely connected."

"His body has no problem, and his soul is safe," Dumbledore said, "but we must find it..."

"Abus, can you find it?" Professor McGonagall said.

"No, that's what makes me strange." Dumbledore said with a deep look. "All my attempts were isolated, as if the whole castle was stopping me. But it was in the castle, and there was no doubt."

The disappearance of Colin Clivie's soul did not spread. Mrs. Pomfrey isolated the school hospital and did not allow anyone to visit. At present, the little wizards are talking about it, and most people think that Clivie is sick.

"It's true that it's a mud breed. Maybe you have some strange disease." Draco said with a despicable look on his face.

Crab and Goll nodded slowly and agreed.

Brian didn't answer the conversation. He was sitting in the armchair, with the silver snake wrapped around his hand, falling into deep thought.

"This is a situation that has not happened in the original work. Is it the butterfly effect that I caused?"

"The probability is not high, I haven't done anything out of the ordinary."

"No, is it...death?"

He had a bad premonition.
