Chapter 14 Forgetting Curse
"Gidro Lohart is a fool!"
After the first get out of class of the Black Magic Defense Class, Draco said angrily: "He is the same as Porter, he is a virtuous person, and he is narcissistic and arrogant."
In this class, they were first asked to fill out a three-page questionnaire, and the questions above were all like:
“What is Gidro Lohart’s favorite color?”
"What is Gidro Lohat's secret ambition?"
"Which is Gidro Lohart's birthday?"
Such a problem.
Draco took the questionnaire and seemed to see a big bowl of ox with a nose, and pulled down his face disgustingly.
Brian looked at the topic in his hand and felt helplessly finding that he knew most of them.
Regardless, although Lockhart is a liar, his books are indeed very interesting and are real events, and a lot of the knowledge is useful. Brian reads them with relish during the summer vacation.
He answered two-thirds of them helplessly, and the remaining questions were made up, such as Lockhart’s ideal birthday gift, which he wrote: Paste the photo of his big head all over the world.
Draco was too lazy to read the book, and copied Brian's answer in a scribble-hand manner. Brian saw that he wrote "eliminate evil" as "eliminate evidence."
After retrieving the test paper, Lockhart began to read the contents of his book to them in a long way. He also called Goal to play the role of the monster and showed everyone how he subdued the monster.
He heard that he brought a cage of Cornwall elves in the class he gave Gryffindor, and they made Lockhart miserable and eventually had to flee in a hurry. In this class he obviously gave up on getting other things and turned into storytelling.
Goll stood blankly in front of the podium, Lockhart stretched out his arm to hold his arm, showing his exaggerated movements. Goll moved his arm and almost threw Lockhart into a slump.
"I really can't believe that this will be the case for the next Black Magic Defense Arts class this year?" Draco said in disbelief.
Daphne said with a broken faith expression: "I was looking forward to his class very much, who would have thought..."
"Daphne, this is very good, he is very handsome!" Pansy looked at Lohart with bright eyes, his cheeks flushed.
"Well, if that's your criterion." Daphne said, holding her shoulders.
After class, the little wizards left the classroom, and Brian stopped in front of Lockhart.
"Professor Lockhart." Brian smiled.
"Oh, do you want my signature? Of course, I'm willing to serve you." Lockhart took out a colorful and bright quill from his robe and smiled so hard that he showed his dazzling white teeth.
"No, I'm Brian Foley, Dad talks to me about you." Brian said with a polite smile.
"Oh, it's him." Lockhart's smile collapsed, "He...how much has he told you about me?"
"All, Professor Lockhart." Brian said.
"Okay, since you know everything, what's the matter with me?" Lohat rubbed his eyebrows and said.
"That's right, I want to ask you about the forgetting mantra." Brian said politely, "When I practice the forgetting mantra, I always make slow progress and can't grasp the key points..."
"Are you practicing this spell now?" Lockhart frowned and looked at him, "You are too small and don't have enough magic."
"No, my magic is enough," said Brian. "I want to know how to master it faster."
"Why should I tell you?" Lohat randomly stacked books on the lectern and said casually, "Don't tell me you will expose me."
"Of course not, but I can tell you a big thing about your future." Brian said calmly, "How about the equivalent exchange?"
"What's the big deal about my future?" Lockhart looked straight at him and laughed, "Will you know my own business?"
"Of course, my father knows you, so I can naturally learn something from him." Brian kept smiling, his black eyes staring at him.
Lockhart shook his lower body unnaturally and said impatiently: "Okay, you can use it first and see."
"All forget is empty." Brian pointed at the void with his wand, and the tip of the wand shot a faint white light.
"You must have never practiced with living things," said Lohat. "Look for some animals to practice first, it will be much better."
"Well, although your father is a bastard, he did help me settle a lot of things." He patted his head again, and found a book and said, "It's okay to take this, practice according to this."
Brian took over this somewhat old book, with a somewhat damaged cover and looks very old. The title is "The Secret of Forgotten".
"I learned the forgetting spell that I learned by myself on this book, which I got by chance when I was out on a trip." Lockhart sighed and waved his hand impatiently, "I don't have the time to guide you. I still have to busy replying to my fans, who are always so likable."
Brian's eyes flashed and he whispered, "Okay, thank you, professor."
"Let's go quickly. Remember to return it to me after practicing, and then tell me what that stupid thing is!" Lockhart said with a dark face.
"I can tell you one thing first, Professor Lockhart," said Brian. "The position in the Dark Magic Defense Department at Hogwarts seems to have been cursed, and for many years, no professor has been able to stay in this position for more than a year."
"What's the meaning?"
"Every professor will be unable to continue teaching in the second year due to various misfortunes." Brian whispered, "It's okay that he left the job a year later, but many professors have suffered force majeure. For example, your previous one, he died."
Lockhart's cheeks turned pale, like a masked mask.
Brian bowed slightly with great grace, then turned around and left the classroom, and Lohart ran towards the principal's room in panic.
After one day's class, Brian returned to the common room, sat in a soft armchair and finished his homework, and came to the house of all requests again.
He opened the book Lohart gave him, which recorded a wizard's targeted study of the forgetting curse, which was very detailed. The forgetting curse can not only clear memories for a period of time, but also forge a false memory.
After reading the book, Brian closed his eyes and thought for a while, took out a little white mouse and placed it on the table.
"All forget is empty!"
A ray of white light spurted out from the tip of Brian's magic wand, and the little white mouse who was spinning around the table and was froze on the table, looking up at him stupidly.
"Is this a success or a failure?" Brian was a little confused.
He waved his wand and transformed the chair on the other side into a somewhat dull cat. Obviously, this transformation was a bit unsuccessful.
When the little mouse saw the cat, it ran around the table in horror.
"All forgetfulness is empty!" Brian tried to make the little mouse think that the cat was its friend.
The little mouse stood on the table again, but he still seemed a little panicked when he saw the cat.
"It seems that more practice is needed." Brian pursed his lips.
...
"Tom, I heard that the Dark Magic Defense Arts class was cursed, and no professor can stay in this position for more than a year. Do you know this?"
In the second session of the Black Magic Defense Arts class, Lockhart swears to announce that he will break the curse, patted his chest to ensure that he would never be defeated by a small curse, and was content with the admiration of many little witches.
"Lordhart really thought he could be an exception. With his half-baked level, who gave him the courage?" Brian shook his head gently, thinking that Dumbledore's ability to fool people was still very strong.
"I didn't know this," Tom's handwriting reads. "Myrthy Professor of Dark Magic Defence was always Professor of Myrthy."
"That's really good. Now the professors of this subject change every year, but we have nothing to learn about." Brian wrote in his diary.
Then, he closed his diary, but frowned.
No matter how he guided him, Tom did not mention anything about the secret room, nor even showed his intention to purify the school.
"It seems that there is a different approach." Brian pondered.
...
"Brian, the silver snake has broken its shell!" One morning, Draco said excitedly.
"Oh?" Brian also looked at the glass box in the corner with interest. It had been there for almost half a year.
The snow-white eggshell had broken open, and a beautiful silver snake as thick as a little finger was swimming flexibly in the box. The red eyes were like two bright rubies, tilting their heads and staring straight at him.
"Not bad." Brian nodded, took out his wand and said, "I'll try to tame it first."
"All forget is empty!"
These days, his forgetfulness curse has improved rapidly, and he has successfully made a little white mouse think he is a cat. These days it has gotten along well with Daphne's stupid white cat Daisy.
Brian made up the will of obeying the master's orders for the Silver Snake and told him not to bite people randomly unless anyone would be against it.
When Brian stopped the spell, he looked at the snake through the glass. It looked a little dazed and looked at him with his head tilted.
"Has it succeeded?" Draco said curiously.
