Chapter 11 Sorting Ceremony
"Hmm? That's it?"
Theodore, who had been looking at the scenery outside the window, spoke in surprise and said in a tone.
He pointed one hand out of the car window, looking stunned.
Brian looked out after hearing this. He saw a green car flying in the air. He could see a red-haired boy sitting in the driver's seat with sharp eyes.
Luna and Ginny also looked out, Luna pointed to the car in the air, her light-colored eyes wide open.
Ginny exclaimed and lay on the car window. She watched the car gradually rise and disappear into the clouds, muttering to herself: "Oh, no! How could it be...good..." Apparently, she recognized the car.
"Obviously, this should be the conspiracy of the Ministry of Magic." Luna quickly flipped through the "Singing the Contradictory" in her hand, turned to page 45, looking at the content inside.
"What did you say?" Brian said curiously.
"Connelly Forge tries to transform items in the Muggle world with magic, with the ultimate goal of occupying the Tower of London." Luna looked at the words in the magazine and said with a confident look on her face.
Brian was stunned and had nothing to say about it.
"The person there seems to be a Weasley and Harry Potter?" Theodore said in a questioning tone.
"Yes, you read that right." Brian twitched the corner of his mouth.
"Haha, it's Harry Potter, even going to school is unique." Theodore's tone was faintly mocking, "There is your brother inside? You should pray that he won't be fired."
Ginny sobbed, she covered her face and shivered.
"Well, you may be relieved. The school will not expel the famous Harry Potter from anyway, so will his friends." Theodore looked at Ginny as if crying, and his face was a little unnatural.
"That stupid fool, he should be driven back!" Ginny put down her palm covering her face, her cheeks were red, and her eyes were filled with tears. She said angrily: "How can he be? How dare he? He didn't think of the consequences of doing this in his stubborn mind?" At this time, she looked like the angry Mrs. Weasley.
Brian and Theodore looked at each other and closed their mouths wisely.
Luna blinked and covered her face with a magazine again.
Only Ginny was panting in the carriage.
"The train will arrive in Hogwarts in five minutes, please be prepared." This sound echoed on the train.
Brian put the textbook in his hand into his bag and breathed a light sigh.
This train trip was not very pleasant, although it was also fun.
Ginny walked in front of her and got off the train. As Hagrid shouted loudly, "First-year students come with me", she joined the first-grade crowd. Luna waved her hands at them and walked over lightly.
Brian and Theodore walked towards the hundred carriages next to them. Draco and the other four were standing next to the carriages and waved to them.
Brian looked at the creature in front of the carriage, which looked like a skinny black horse, with a very dragon-like head and huge wings like a bat.
"The Hedge..." Bryan murmured. Only those who have witnessed death can see them.
He was not surprised that he could see it. Last semester, he witnessed Kilow's death with his own eyes. Of course, he had experienced one death himself, and he thought that few people were closer to death than him.
"You talk about these horses?" Theodore looked at them and whispered.
"Can you see them too?" Brian raised his eyebrows slightly.
"What are you talking about?" Draco leaned over and said.
"These horses, are they the Theodes?" Theodore pointed at them. He had heard of this magical creature.
"Where is a horse?" Draco said blankly, "There is nothing here!"
"Crab, Goll, did you see anything?"
The two big men shook their heads blankly.
Draco looked at Brees again, and he shook his head, holding his head up and said, "Okay, it's time for us to get in the car."
"Only those who have witnessed death can see them." Brian said softly. He reached out and touched the Hell's wings, which were very hard, covered with a short layer of black hair. It turned its head to look at him, with no pupils in its empty white eyes.
Theodore turned his eyes away and showed a disgusting expression. He climbed straight into the carriage.
"So, is there really a horse pulling a cart?" Draco blinked, "Are you really cheating on me?"
"Yes, Draco." Brian said slackingly, "only honest people can see them."
"Honest?" Draco climbed into the carriage and said slowly, "That's a bad habit, Brian."
Brian also got on the carriage, and he chuckled softly: "Sometimes, your misconceptions sound quite reasonable."
"Ha, that's the truth." Draco raised his chin.
Soon, the carriage started to move and rushed towards the castle at a rapid speed.
The carriage jingled and parked next to the stone steps of the castle gate. They walked off the carriage, joined the crowd, walked through the castle's foyer, and entered the brightly lit auditorium.
The auditorium was still familiar, with four long academy dining tables, and above their heads were the starry ceiling. The little wizards sat excitedly at the dining table, greeting each other, and chatting about interesting things about the holiday. Several silver-white ghosts floated among them.
Several people sat at Slytherin's long table, responding to the greetings of their classmates.
The teacher's desk was already full of professors. Dumbledore's hands crossed, his silver beard and half-moon glasses shining in the candlelight, and his expression seemed a bit solemn.
Gidro Lohart was wearing a water-green robe and a familiar shining smile on his face, as if he was taking photos of a reporter at any time.
Brian found no trace of Snape, and guessed that he was looking for Harry.
Soon, the door to the hall opened, and Professor McGonagall led a team of first-year students in, and they seemed nervous. Professor McGonagall put the division hat in his hand on the stool.
The noise in the auditorium gradually subsided. First-year students lined up in front of the faculty desks, waiting tremblingly for the branch.
The worn-out branch hat with patches opened its wide slit like a mouth, and sang loudly, but it was still the same as before.
Brian thought this hat was really not good to sing.
After the hat finished singing, Professor McGonagall read the list and started the branch ceremony.
Midway through, Brian saw Harry and Ron sneak in, who were embarrassed, and then they were taken out by Snape with a gloomy face.
"Look, what happened to Porter!" Draco grinned and gloatingly, "So, he could just play himself without me doing anything."
Brian nodded, and he quietly watched the branch ceremony.
He saw the thin boy Colin Clivie being assigned to Gryffindor, and he had an excited smile on his face.
Luna walked over with her chaotic blonde hair, beer cork necklace and radish-shaped earrings were very conspicuous, which caused a lot of discussion and soft ridicule. The branch hat pondered for a while and shouted: "Ravenclaw!"
The branch continued until it was nearing the end, and Ginny ran up. The branch hat shouted "Gryffindor" almost as soon as it touched her red hair.
Daphne whispered that her sister would be at the age of enrollment next year, and I really hope that it would be smooth at that time.
Finally, when the branch ceremony ended, Professor McGonagall put away his branch hat and walked aside. Professor Snape hurried over and said a few words to her, then she pulled her face and left.
Dumbledore stood up with a smile, and his voice was loud: "Welcome to our newborns! And our old students, welcome you back! You probably don't have the time to listen to my speech now, so start our banquet!"
A plate of hearty dinner appeared on the dining table. The hungry little wizards all picked up their favorite food and ate it.
Brian saw Dumbledore hurriedly leaving the dining table and walked out of the hall.
He picked up the knife and fork, cut off a piece of steak and put it in his mouth.
[Witness branch ceremony, witness point 0.5]
Well, there are some rewards in the branch ceremony, which is really good.
He was thinking about things lightly, while Draco was talking about Harry with Theodore.
"Haha, Potter and Weasley drove a flying car to the school, and they were going to be fired!" Draco laughed loudly, his voice spreading far away.
When Brian saw the Gryffindor's long table, Hermione bit her lips with a worried look on her face, and many people glared at them.
Draco returned with a proud look.
When dinner passed, everyone sang school songs together. Dumbledore returned to talk about some precautions, and the little wizards returned to their respective lounges.
