Chapter 17 Conversation
Although three Warriors appeared in each school, everyone quickly reached a consensus to make the Triple Championship go on normally.
However, Moody's face looked a little gloomy, and he shouted in a low voice: "Potter is the only person who has not cast his name into the Goblet of Fire! If he hadn't lie, someone would have hurt him!"
"Oh, come on, who would reject a chance to be a Warrior?" Ludo Bagman spread his hands and said in a relaxed tone, "Is it our naughty Harry?"
"I didn't do it!" Harry's cheeks flushed, but his words seemed a little pale.
"Oh, okay, but I have to say you are so good!" Bagman blinked at Harry and Brian, "Can you get around the age line set by Dumbledore, tsk... I'm optimistic about you!"
The warriors looked at each other, as if they were evaluating the threat of each person.
Moody looked at everyone with a penis, and he looked at everyone as if he was looking at the hidden criminal; Mr. Crouch was still meticulous, with a serious expression on his face; Snape looked angry, only Bagman seemed excited and very excited.
Bagman rubbed his hands and said, "Okay, let's continue...ah, but because of a small change, our rules for the Triumph Championship seem to need to be slightly changed."
He blinked mischievously: "Please allow me to keep it aside, after all, this cannot be decided by me alone. So, we will work overtime tonight for a discussion..."
"How is it, Barty? I hope you have time tonight?" He looked at Mr. Crouch, who had been silent.
Crouch nodded, his tone with a little habitual impatient: "That's quicker, I still have a lot of work in the department... It's very busy and difficult time... I asked the young Weasley to take charge temporarily, and he is very enthusiastic... To be honest, he is a little too tall..."
"Very good, this will be a pleasant overtime! To be honest, I never thought that this would happen in my life..." Bagman said excitedly, "Then, routine Warriors coach... I definitely can't do it tonight. Tomorrow night, I think, at 8 o'clock in the evening, you will come here again, in this house, okay? My dear Warriors?"
The nine warriors nodded and left the room with the professors who led their teams.
Brian walked out together with Harry and Cedric, and there seemed to be some silence between them.
The auditorium is now empty, and the candle flames have been extinguished, making the smiles of the pumpkin lanterns become gloomy and bizarre.
"So, how did you cast your name in?" Cedric said.
"It's very simple. Just use a few protective spells for yourself, I think." Brian said casually.
"I didn't," Harry was silent for a moment, looking up at the two people, "I didn't vote, I was telling the truth."
"Well, I believe you." Brian nodded, "After all, at this time, there is no need to deny it all the time."
Harry showed a grateful look and even temporarily threw the knot at the end of last semester behind him.
Cedric was also silent for a long time, and finally nodded and said, "Then you have to be careful... If it wasn't really what you threw in, then who might want to harm you and want you to die during the game..."
Harry nodded with a heavy face.
The three of them walked side by side to the foyer and walked to their respective public lounges separately.
Brian slowly walked down the castle, recited the order, and walked through the slippery stone wall. The noise suddenly came into his ears, and a group of people looked like they had a substantial eye.
"How did you do it, Brian?" Brees shouted, his face excited.
"That's great, I knew you could do it!" Daphne said with a smile.
Brian responded to the inquiries and congratulations of one person after another, ignored the jealousy and dissatisfaction of some people, as well as the gritted eyes of the senior students who were originally popular candidates for the Warriors, and returned to the dormitory calmly.
"No matter what, you have to defeat Porter." Draco whispered after returning.
Brian smiled slightly and said, "This triple competition will definitely change the rules, and it may not be what will happen."
"Congratulations on getting what you want." Draco was silent for a moment, and said in awkward tone.
"Thank you." Brian narrowed his eyes slightly with a smile.
The next Sunday, Brian's peaceful life was completely broken. People would quietly discuss him wherever he went, but obviously, many young wizards believed that only Cedric was worthy of the name of the Warrior among the three.
Brian ignored their eyes and did his own thing, but Harry was not in a good mood.
It is true that Harry is in a much better situation than in the original work, but he still faces doubts from his friends and... Ron ignores him. Harry feels that Ron is complaining that he has not helped him throw his name into the Gobleau of Fire.
The friendship of the trio is tested again, Hermione is willing to believe that someone wants to harm him, but Ron is not standing by his side this time. They are angry with each other and avoid each other's gaze.
Brian was thinking about what was wrong with the Goblet of Fire, and after lunch he knocked on the door to Moody's office.
The sound of footsteps came from the office. Moody opened the door with a flash of wind. The round demonic eye stared at him fiercely, as if he was watching a black wizard who was extremely sinful.
"Can we talk, Professor Moody?" Brian smiled. He was playing with a magic wand in his hand, with a modest and easy-going tone.
"Come in." Moody glared at him viciously for a long time before he made way open the door.
There was a lot of strange things in the office, and a lookout mirror was placed on the desk, which was now quietly. On a small table, there was a weird thing, like a twisted golden TV antenna, constantly making buzzing sounds. A small mirror was hung on the wall, with blurry shadows swaying around.
"Professor Moody, I think we should talk straight to the point. You know, being alert and guard against each other will only make things more than expected in the end." Brian smiled quietly, "This time the Goblet of Fire has sounded the alarm for us."
"How do you know it's me? You dare to come and say it carelessly?" Moody's blue demonic eye stared at him.
"I think the real Professor Moody should not cast a soul-taking curse on his students anyway." The smile on Brian's face remained the same. "He has paranoia for persecution, but he is not a dark wizard and has not gone crazy."
"Okay, let's talk, what did you do to the Goblet of Fire?" Moody said in a rough voice.
"I didn't do anything, I just used a confusion spell on it, so that it would definitely choose me." Brian whispered, "What I want to know is, what did you do to make that cup change like this?"
Moody was silent, and then he said, "I cast Harry Potter's name in, and then used the confusion curse... However, I let it exclude you from all schools. If you sign up, the Goblet of Fire will treat it as an invalid registration..."
Brian sighed and said, "It seems that you really tripped me up."
"You don't need to join in, just have me! I can do a good job by myself!" Moody said viciously, with a crazy light flashing in his normal little eyes.
"Yeah, I know." Brian agreed, instead of savoring, "but I just wanted to participate because it was fun."
Moody's chest was so angry that his chest was undulating, as if he was about to pull out his wand at any time. Then, he took a deep breath and calmed himself down.
"Well, I won't ruin your business anymore, but you also have to help me and promote the plan to succeed." Moody said.
"Let's talk about your plan first." Brian said.
"The first two projects have no chance, because that's the whole broadcast," Moody said slowly, "There is only the third project, the maze, and the audience outside cannot see what's going on inside... I need to make sure that Harry Potter is the first to get the Goblet of Fire in the maze, and I will make it a door key."
"Good plan." Brian smiled and said, "I will help Porter well. I will cast a warrior fairy tale for him, and then we will usher in a destined ending... It's very interesting."
As he said that, he opened the office door and walked out, and said in a very gentle tone: "Happy cooperation, professor."
Walking in the long corridor, Brian frowned. He still couldn't figure out what the change in the Goblet of Fire was.
He thought about the whole thing again, as if he had understood something.
