Chapter 15 Registration
It was late at night, but the little wizards of Slytherin were not sleepy. They were excitedly discussing the Goblet of Fire and the Triple Championship in the common room, talking about the two schools of Busbaton and Demstrong, talking about Wickor Krum and the beautiful girl who looked very similar to Veva.
There are only a few boys talking about how to bypass Dumbledore's age line. In fact, most Slytherin wizards are still very self-aware and know that they cannot stand out in the competition with senior students, so they have a very positive attitude.
Draco had a tangled expression on his face, and then he sighed lonelyly: "The magic set by Dumbledore is terrible. Let's wait and see tomorrow. If you really can't get around, there is nothing you can do."
Brian said playfully: "I will try it. If I succeed, do you want to vote for you?"
Draco stopped even more instantly. He glanced at Brian with tears in his eyes, his pale cheeks flushed slightly, and he waved his hand and said, "Yes... I can't ask for anything!"
Brian laughed and shook his head, knowing that he was just a stubborn person. He was obviously very timid in his heart, but he insisted on pretending to be careless. It was quite interesting to tease him.
Daphne blinked the blue eyes at Brian, clenched her fists and made a cheerful move.
It was almost midnight, and the students finally yawned back to the dormitory to rest. Brian sat in the common room for a while, looking through a potion book to pass the time.
After Brian's level of potions reached the expert level, Professor Snape's separate teaching was over. The improvement from expert level to master level could only depend on Brian himself, and he had nothing to teach Brian anymore.
Brian still remembers that night, Snape rarely praised Brian's performance.
At midnight, Brian put away the book, turned around and walked out of the stone wall, and headed towards the auditorium.
After knowing that Moody's attitude towards him was not very good or even very guarded, Brian didn't plan to discuss with him for the time being. If Moody knew that he wanted to participate in the Triumph Championship, Brian was sure he would get in the way.
It's better to do it yourself.
He came to the hall smoothly, but almost collided with a hurried figure.
"Oh, I'm scared!" The man was wearing a loose nightgown, with round blue eyes dripping, looking a little guilty.
"Mr. Bagman?" Brian looked at the man in front of him.
"Oh, it's you, you're Foley? Brian Foley?" Lu Du breathed a sigh of relief. He rubbed his hands gently, with a strange smile on his face, "Ah, your father told me about you, a very excellent child..."
Brian looked at him suspiciously, showing a humble and polite smile: "My dad mentioned you to me, Mr. Bagman."
Lu Duo's smile froze on his face slightly. He coughed lightly, and changed the subject and said, "Do you want to come and see the Goblet of Fire? Or you want to participate?"
He gave Brian a thumbs up and smiled brightly, "Come on, I'll be optimistic about you!"
As he said that, he touched his head and laughed dryly, and the footsteps that deliberately lowered were gone in a hurry.
"I look guilty and hope it won't affect my plan." Brian frowned, not knowing what Bagman was doing.
He walked towards the wooden goblet burning with blue and white flames. The cup looked very inconspicuous, with rough wood on the surface, like a carving out of a not very skilled carpenter apprentice. The flame inside was not hot, but had a faint cool feeling.
Brian looked at the thin circle of golden threads on the ground and narrowed his eyes.
"Confusing the audience."
He pulled out his wand and pointed at the circle of golden threads. The invisible spell swallowed the thread, making it confused Brian's age.
With Brian's current level of confusion mantra at the master level, he should be able to chant mantras directly at this circle of age lines.
After taking a look at the age line that did not seem to have changed, Brian imposed several protective spells on himself and stepped inside.
He stepped in with his right foot, no problem, and then he stepped in with his left foot. Brian successfully stood inside the golden line, and the Goblet of Fire was right in front of him.
"It seems that as long as the level reaches the master level, there will always be magical magic." Brian sighed, "the use of the spell will be more flexible."
He took out the note he wrote in advance and threw it into the goblet of flame. Then he watched the blue and white flames turn red quickly, burst out with sparks, and swallowed the note.
"So, how can we blind the Goblet of Fire?" Brian looked at the goblet in front of him thoughtfully.
As the equipment used to choose the Warriors in the Triumph Championship, the deepest rule engraved by the Goblet of Fire should be "fairness and justice", so at this time, confusion spell is not omnipotent. It cannot allow the Goblet of Fire to directly choose someone, because it violates the principle of fairness and may cause some bad changes.
Even in the original work, Crouch Jr. used the confusion spell to make the Goblet of Fire mistakenly believe that there are four schools, and Harry Potter is the only person to sign up for the fourth school, which ensures that Harry will inevitably be selected to become a Warrior.
However, Brian didn't know if Moody was perineal, or what Ludo Bagman did. He had to make sure that the Goblet of Fire would definitely choose him and would not interfere with Harry's becoming a Warrior.
"Then, confuse the public." Brian pointed his wand at the Goblet of Fire and slowly recited the spell.
When choosing Warriors, let Goblet of Fire give priority to the magic and combat power of students in each school to choose Warriors, and ignore other aspects.
"It's almost done." Brian stepped out of his age line and returned to the dormitory easily.
The next Saturday, the students all got up early. They gathered around the Goblet of Fire and seemed very excited.
The Weasley twins looked at the Goblet of Fire with pride, each of them drank a drop of age enhancer, and then tried to step into the age line.
The little wizards in the auditorium were all paying attention to them curiously and wanted to know if their approach would work.
The twins jumped into the golden line. Just when they thought they had succeeded, the two were thrown out and fell on the stone floor ten feet away. With a loud burst, the same white beard appeared on the two of them.
Everyone burst into laughter, and even the twins who had climbed up from the ground pointed at each other and laughed.
"I remind you." Dumbledore's voice came, and he seemed to be amused and said with a smile, "I suggest you go to Ms. Pomfrey, who is already caring for Miss Faucitt of Ravenclaw and Mr. Summers of Hufflepuff. I have to say that their beards are far less beautiful than you."
The little wizards giggled and entered the auditorium, and the decoration inside changed again. A large group of living bats flew around the magic-casting ceiling, and hundreds of little people carved from pumpkins were hiding in every corner.
Brian was having breakfast and listening to a group of young wizards discussing who was most likely to become a warrior.
The students of Busbaton came in under the leadership of Ms. Maxim, and they lined up to throw the parchment into the Goblet of Fire. Several young witches around stared at the girl who looked very much like a teva, with red cheeks.
Brian stayed in the library all day and looked through a lot of information about taking the gods. When it got darker, he came to the auditorium to attend the banquet on Halloween eve.
The dishes at this banquet were still rich, but the little wizards obviously didn't have much appetite. They were all anxiously waiting for the banquet to end, hoping to know who would be selected as the Warrior.
Brian's mentality was very relaxed. He tasted the food calmly, but Daphne seemed even more nervous than him, constantly looking into the direction of the teacher's seat, and only a few bites of the roast chicken on the plate.
"What are you nervous about?" Brian raised his eyebrows.
"Didn't you say you successfully voted in?" Daphne said with her eyes widened, "I hope you will be selected."
Brian said laughing and crying: "I'm not nervous when you see."
At this time, the plate in front of him became spotless, Dumbledore stood up, and the auditorium became silent in an instant.
"Okay, the goblet will be decided." Dumbledore said, "After the name of the Warrior is announced, please go to the top of the auditorium, walk along the staff's desk, and enter the room next door..."
The fire in the auditorium dimmed, only the Goblet of Fire burst into dazzling light, and the blue and white flames surged.
Everyone held their breath, stared, and waited...
