Chapter 4 A Chance Encounter

The next morning, Brian walked downstairs and had a simple breakfast in the hotel.

He found Bertha Joggins walking down from the hotel opposite with her luggage. She looked even more dazed, walking outside the town like a wandering soul, looking like she was not interested in anything.

Brian glanced at the hotel opposite and found a familiar figure behind a gray window.

Brian smiled and walked into the hotel opposite. The owner of the hotel didn't know where he was going, so Brian slowly climbed up the stairs and knocked on the door of the room corresponding to the window.

"Who is outside? I think I've had breakfast." A familiar voice came from inside.

"No, I just want to visit an acquaintance." Brian said, "I didn't expect to see you here, Professor Lockhart."

After a long time of silence inside, the door opened with a "bang". Lohart was wearing a fancy dressing gown and holding a magic wand in his hand.

"This tone... are you Brian Fley?" Lockhart said. He looked at Brian's current appearance, leaned out the door and looked left and right, and when Brian walked in, he closed the door with a "snake".

"It's me." Brian nodded.

"Is that woman Jokins told you? Say I'm here?" Lockhart had a short stubble on his face, and his expression seemed a little sad, but his restless temperament could still be seen from his eyes.

"No, I saw you in the window just now, and I haven't seen you for a long time, so come and visit me." Brian smiled, "Jokins did say that she had seen a fugitive. I thought it was Sirius Black."

"Ah, I've been staying in the resort before, but I almost got recognized. I have only been here for a few days recently." Lockhart breathed a sigh of relief, "I didn't expect that there were people who knew me here... I'm so famous that anyone can recognize me anywhere."

Lockhart said, with a little distressed expression and a little proud.

"What did you do to Bertha Joggins?" Brian remembered the woman's appearance just now.

"Isn't this obvious? It's just a little forgetting spell." Lockhart showed his iconic smile again, and his teeth were still dazzlingly white.

Brian blinked, thinking that the woman had left a great sequelae because of Crouch's powerful forgetting spell. This time she was not completely stupid, but she was afraid she would say goodbye to the Ministry of Magic forever.

"What's going on in this town, do you know, Professor?" Brian said.

"Ah, this is a famous town." Lockhart said with his hands behind his back, "I dare say that there are many fugitives in this town, including werewolf, vampires, etc., and wandering black wizards... I just came to hide for a few days, and then I'm going to find a nice island to live a retirement life."

"You won't want to catch me, Bryan?" Lockhart's eyes stared at him.

"Of course not, good luck, professor." Brian smiled.

"Of course, I'll have good luck. To be honest, my luck has always been good. But being a professor in Hogwarts was the worst decision I've ever made." Lockhart said, "Your father must have had a smile and swallowed up so much of my share...the cunning guy."

The two talked for a while, and the atmosphere was unexpectedly harmonious. Lockhart also asked Brian to taste the high-end black tea he made during the trip. It seemed that even while on the run, Lockhart still did not treat him badly.

"Those idiots in the Ministry of Magic actually put the secret room on my head." Lockhart said in a relaxed tone, "But, no matter how much debt is, I don't need that little charge... You have to believe that I'm not that heir." He seemed to be reminding Brian in a vague way.

"I get it." Brian nodded and took a sip of black tea.

"No matter what, the magic world will be in chaos soon. It is a good choice to hide and avoid disputes." Brian said meaningfully.

"Then, I'll say goodbye first, Professor." Seeing that the time was almost over, Brian planned to leave.

"Are you leaving this town?" Lockhart said in a hurry, "Can we go together?"

"Yes." Brian nodded.

Lohat breathed a long sigh of relief and began to pack his luggage, his clothes and pants flying all over the sky.

"Oh, I've been stuck in these days... I don't want to go out." Lockhart explained, "I suspect I've been targeted by a few dark wizards... Of course, I'm not afraid of them, I just don't want to fight with them... It's so bad that I fight and kill. I'm willing to reason, but they don't look like they can listen to the truth..."

"...I was thinking, maybe two of them wouldn't make any decisions on us if they went out together." Lockhart threw the last sock into his suitcase.

Soon, the two of them walked out of the town. There were still not many people on the street, and there seemed to be pairs of eyes hidden in the dark doors and alleys, staring at them tightly.

They walked safely outside the town, and just as Lohart breathed a sigh of relief, several men in black robes rushed out of the dense bushes on the side of the road, holding magic wands in their hands and spells randomly.

"Armor Protect!" Brian waved his wand and blocked all the spells that were shot.

But the people rushed up and opened their mouths to bite them, making a low roar.

Without much effort, Brian easily defeated them and learned from the outrageous guys of these dishes.

"Werewolf?" Brian pondered.

These werewolfs discovered Lockhart's identity and knew that this was a fat sheep and were ordered by the leader to come and rob.

"Fenriel Grebroke is in town?" Brian whispered.

"Yes." A werewolf nodded in confusion.

Brian narrowed his eyes and played with his wand in his hand. Lockhart turned around anxiously, urging him to leave soon.

Looking up at the town, Brian knocked them out and slowly moved away from here with Lockhart.

Although the werewolf came to Bryan, he did not want to spend time on the werewolf. Although he knew that as long as he killed Fenriel Greybock, the group of werewolfs would become a mess and fall into chaos and infighting.

A group of werewolfs led by Grey Burke will follow Voldemort in the future, which will be beneficial to Brian's plan, and there is no need to weaken them now.

Besides, there is no need to weaken these werewolfs. They have basically not learned many curses. Not every werewolf can be as lucky as Lupin. This also means that except for the full moon night, the werewolf's level is really not very good.

Having someone leads them can cause less chaos and easier to deal with.

As for cooperation...wewolves are really not a good partner, and Brian is even unwilling to control these guys to do things for him. He is not clear-headed, has a low IQ, is rough in character, is reckless, is prone to make mistakes when doing things, hates wizards, has a strong desire to attack wizards, and the moon night is a time bomb.

Thinking of this, it's useless...

"Let it go with the flow, the Dark King's momentum can't be too small after his return." Brian said softly.

"What did you say?" Lockhart asked.

"Nothing." Brian said, "It's time for me to go back. I'm glad to meet you, Professor Lockhart."

"Oh, thank you for helping me." Lohat said with a reserved look, "You know, if I take action, the ending of those werewolfs may be very bad... I just want to be low-key, well, after all, the Ministry of Magic is still thinking about grabbing me..."

Brian said goodbye to Lockhart, boarded the steamship home, and quietly watched the turbulent sea surface.

After a period of travel, Brian returned to the manor and was asked about his well-being by Mrs. Fley.

I looked at the locator in my hand, which represented the little red dot of the little dwarf was on the way back to China. It seemed that it would take a long time to come back.

"I really don't have a memory. I only know that I have destroyed the locator on the dwarf." Brian shook his head.

There is also a locator hidden in the badge he gave to the little dwarf.

Of course, if you don't take it apart, you won't be able to discover it.
