Chapter 29 Individual Actions
"Trelawney made a prophecy to you?"
After the routine potion class tutoring, Snape suddenly said in a low voice.
"Yes, sir." Brian nodded.
"...Be alert." Snape's black eyes were indifferent and empty. He was silent for a long time and said concisely.
"Of course." Brian nodded and left the office.
The corridor at night was still dark and gloomy. Brian pulled out his wand and played with it in his hand, alerting to everything around him.
He took out the map of the living spots he made and checked the surroundings. Several little wizards were wandering in the corridor. The closest to him was Brees Shabini, who represented that his small dot was moving slowly along a corridor.
Brian remained vigilant and arrived at the House of Responsible Requests.
He took out the time converter and returned himself five hours ago, and took out the two books Dumbledore gave him.
He first looked through the Alchemy Notes by Nicole Lemay. It had a beautiful golden cover and was not very thick, but it took Brian a long time to finish it when he looked through it.
"It seems like a book similar to the infinite extension spell attached..." Brian was silent for a moment.
The content in this book is much richer than he imagined. It has more basic knowledge of introductory alchemy, more in-depth advanced knowledge, and even the most profound ones also contain the methods and experience of refining magic stones.
This should be the real effort of the alchemy master Nicole Lemay.
Brian pursed his lips, put away the heavy book, and instead began to study another book: "Ominous Research Records".
It cannot be regarded as a book, but a collection of various research reports, filled with various research materials, investigation reports and research conjectures.
Brian spent several hours browsing, and the description was similar to what Dumbledore said. Brian looked up the information of those who had died after seeing ominousness, and found that they had no special place or any connection. The time, place, and even the final way of death were different when they saw ominousness.
Brian marked the places of death of the victims, but also discovered a little pattern.
Although there are victims all over the world, it is obvious that European victims account for almost half of all victims. This is abnormal.
"Is there an ominous lair here?" Brian said mockingly.
He also summarized the races of the victims and found that most of them were humans, but all intelligent races actually had victims, such as goblins, domestic elves, dwarves, etc.
"Love in attacking intelligent races?" Brian raised his eyebrows.
He recorded his thoughts and discoveries, and seeing that the time was almost over, he packed up his things, cast a magical spell on himself, and returned to the public lounge vigilantly.
At this time, the common room was filled with little wizards doing homework. Daphne waved to him, and Brian sat down next to several people.
Draco was writing ancient Rune's homework. He looked through the Rune's dictionary with some annoyance and painted the parchment in a mess. Crab and Gal were lying their heads and copying Draco's homework, painting the homework paper even more messy.
Daphne nodded to Brian, then whispered Astoria to teach her deformation skills, and the little girl listened with a serious look on her face.
Theodore sat gracefully in the armchair, with a book "Today's Transformation" spread on his thigh, and was slowly reading it.
The silver snake Overwhelmed on the table here, coming and going freely like a silver sword, and playing with it.
After Brian wrote his homework, Brees returned to the common room and sat next to Brian and the others.
"Where have you been? So late, aren't you afraid of being caught by Felch?" Theodore raised his eyelids and said lightly.
"Go out for a walk, that old guy Felch can't catch me." Brees said proudly.
Over wandered to the table in front of Brees and hissed at him.
Brees blinked, spread out his textbook and looked in front of him.
Draco looked up and smiled and picked up Over and leaned straight into Brees. Brees looked at him.
Draco raised his eyebrows: "Aren't you afraid of Over?"
"Well, when have I been afraid of it?" Brees coughed lightly, "How could I be stumped by a mere little snake..."
He moved, stood up and said, "I'll go back to the dormitory first." He hurriedly left.
"What are Brees doing recently? He is as mysterious as Bryan these days." Theodore frowned.
"I happen to know a little..." Draco touched Over's scales and said slowly.
Draco kept it a secret and found that no one supported him, he said helplessly: "He is probably in love."
"Hmm?" Theodore and Daphne both looked over, and Brian also glanced at Draco.
Draco raised his chin proudly and said, "Last evening, I saw him talking to a girl secretly on the edge of the venue. I have never seen him as close to a girl...and he is a senior girl..."
"Who is it?" Daphne said curiously.
"It's too far, I don't see clearly." Draco said, "They quickly separated after seeing me. Perhaps Brees felt embarrassed to fall in love with a senior girl..."
"How do you know it's a senior?" Theodore raised his eyebrows.
"Of course, that girl's figure...you know." Draco glanced at Daphne's chest, turned his head and pretended to be nothing.
Daphne's cheeks turned red, and she gritted her teeth and said, "Der, La, Co!"
Theodore choked and started coughing gently.
Brian blinked and shook his head laughing and crying.
He freed Over, who had been struggling and shouting, from Draco's hands and placed it on the table.
"Yellow-haired is abused by me! Master, one day I will bite him!" Over hissed indignantly.
Brian smiled, looking at the deep lake outside the window with a distant look.
...
In the Gryffindor common room, there was a pile of books in front of Hermione. She finally finished her thick homework and stretched gently.
Her ginger cat, Crook Hill, poked her head out of the armchair next to her and stretched.
She looked at Harry and Ron, bit her lip with some entanglement, and then approached. Crook Hill jumped out of the armchair and followed her slowly.
"Oh, Hermione, let your broken cat go away!" Ron said unhappily, covering a small ball of trembling in his pocket.
"You can walk away, I just want to talk to Harry." Hermione said arrogantly.
"Hmph, it's great!" Ron walked away with the mouse. Crook Mountain followed him leisurely. Ron kicked it impatiently, and was flexibly avoided by it.
Hermione let out a heavy sigh, and she sat down in the armchair next to her, facing Harry's confused gaze, she gritted her teeth and said, "Harry, your living spot map..."
"Hermione, that's just a map, it's not dangerous at all!" Harry groaned, "You have lost my fire crossbow. Can you please don't..."
"I'm not trying to say this." Hermione pursed her lips tightly, her cheeks flushed. "I just wanted to ask if you can lend me some...that live spot map."
Harry looked at the little witch in front of him in surprise, as if he was wondering if she had been transferred. Hermione always thought that the map of the live spot was a dangerous thing.
"You know, I've always cared about the last semester..." Hermione said anxiously, "It makes me feel bad. I want to figure out something."
"Hermione, who do you doubt?" Harry said carefully.
"You know who it is, Harry!" Hermione said with a straight face, "only he has the motivation to do that."
"But, Fry, he told the truth and helped us defeat the Basil and Voldemort!"
"Yeah, this is something that I can't figure out. But are you sure the truth he told is really the truth?" Hermione asked back, "That's all his one-sided words. If... I mean, he didn't throw away that diary, but kept it until later on, and it was thrown to Fred?"
"This...this is outrageous, Hermione." Harry shook his head, "He is the least motivated to do this. He attacked his classmates, but promised that they would not be killed, so that Voldemort would almost be resurrected, and personally prevented his resurrection? There are contradictions everywhere!"
"Yes, I know." Hermione gritted her teeth.
"Then why are you..."
"Intuition, Harry, just because of this." Hermione turned her head and looked at the side. "If I can't solve this doubt for a day, I can't face him in a day. Maybe I just want to find evidence to prove that my intuition is wrong."
