Chapter 62
"Where is this, Brian?"
Daphne looked around, looking curious and uneasy.
"Maybe you can't remember clearly, you're leaving the soul." Brian explained to her, "The Soul Loss incident has spread in the school, and the brass coin talisman is used to protect us."
"But your amulet was secretly hidden by Pansy, so you are also out of your soul."
Daphne listened carefully, and when Pan Si hid her amulet, she frowned, and then checked herself and said, "That is to say, we are in a soul state now?" She was not too frightened and calmly looked at her situation.
"That's right." Brian said.
"So...Bryan, why are you here?" Daphne looked at him with blue eyes.
"I wanted to figure out some things, so I came here on my own initiative." Brian whispered.
Daphne didn't know what she thought of, her cheeks turned red, she lowered her head and gently pulled the corner of her skirt.
Brian didn't pay attention to her, and he began to look at the other frames.
"Colin Clivi..." In a picture frame, the thin little wizard was pillowing with his hands, his mouth was rising, as if he was having a beautiful dream.
In another picture frame, he saw Fred and Crab...
"Oh, Dumbledore!" Daphne exclaimed softly at a picture frame. Then she looked at a picture frame next to her, covering her mouth to prevent herself from screaming out of fear and resentment.
Brian looked over and said, "Dumbledore, with white beard and white hair, was sleeping in a picture frame, frowning gently, his expression blending with relief and complexity.
In the picture frame on the other side, a naked child was sleeping. He was curled up, his red skin was very rough, as if he had been peeled off, wrinkled and ugly. But when people saw him, they would not feel any pity, only repulsion and disgust.
"How could Dumbledore be here...and, what is this thing?" Daphne breathed in big mouth.
"Dumbledore is here to find you," Brian looked at them calmly, "and this thing is an evil thing..."
"Can't even Dumbledore get rid of his dreams?" Daphne blinked and looked at Brian with a very unusual look. He could do something Dumbledore could not do.
"I think he can't find out the problem, he just doesn't want to wake up." Brian twitched the corners of his mouth and said angrily. He could even guess what Dumbledore dreamed of.
"Yes, that dream is so beautiful that it makes people reluctant to leave." Daphne said with a little disappointed feeling.
"As for Tom Riddle..." Brian looked at the wrinkled child, with a hint of pleasure and struggle on his face, making his expression look distorted and ferocious.
"From his fear of death... even if he finds a problem, he will not be able to hug death anyway." Brian murmured in his heart, "That's why he has not escaped."
"Do you want to wake Dumbledore and the others?" Daphne found that Brian didn't want to mention the child, and did not bother her, so she asked instead.
"Forget it, I sneaked in. I don't want others to know for the time being." Brian looked at the hazy white light in the distance, "Try exploring here first."
Daphne nodded, raised her hand and pinned a strand of golden hair behind her ears.
Brian finally looked at the frames and he had another question, which was why there was no magic in his dream.
What he pursues is the ultimate of magic and unrestrained freedom, and everything in his dreams is like what he longed for in his previous life. This obviously makes it easier for him to get rid of it.
"So, is it a dream of me evolving for the foundation of my previous life?" Brian frowned slightly, "What is me now?"
The two of them walked towards the glimmer of light, and the sound of empty footsteps drifted away, making Brian recall the dream he had had twice. In the dream, he was also walking in the darkness, and could only see his own body.
But there is no whispering noise here.
The glimmer of light looked far away, but when they walked towards it, they found that it was actually very close.
"Brian, that thing..." Daphne seemed a little uneasy and anxious, "It's very attractive, but it makes me extremely scared..." She grabbed the front of her clothes, breathed heavily, staring at it.
Brian seemed much calmer, and he looked at the glimmer of light, the creepy at the beginning was now almost gone, leaving only a strong attraction.
"Or why don't you go back first?" Brian suggested, "I'll just go and have a look."
Daphne shook her head firmly and said with a forced smile: "Maybe I can help you. And I'm also very curious... Don't worry, if I can't hold on, I'll tell you."
Brian smiled and nodded at her.
When the glimmer seemed to be close, Brian took a step forward, and everything around him suddenly became biting cold and seemed to suddenly walk into the ice water.
"Stop first!" Brian raised his wand vigilantly and said. Daphne stopped behind him and squeezed the wand nervously.
"What's wrong?" Daphne said.
"Did you feel the cold?"
"No, it's normal."
"It seems that I have entered another area. Don't come in first." Brian said quietly.
"Okay." Daphne pointed his wand at the front of the empty space and responded crisply.
The darkness ahead suddenly surged, like black smoke was blown by the wind. They condensed into black shadows in hoods, like dementors and ghosts.
They rushed towards Brian with their teeth and claws, and the surrounding space was as cold as if it was about to freeze into ice.
"Bear of flame!" Brian frowned slightly, and a flame spell hit the ghost in front.
Unexpectedly, the ghost was instantly wrapped in flames and burned out in an instant.
"That's it?" Brian was a little surprised. He casually put a few spells and quickly cleared out the nearest ghost. And more ghosts leaned over from behind.
"How is it?" Daphne asked nervously.
"It's okay, keep going. They're weak," said Bryan.
Daphne followed him and continued to move forward, and more ghosts rushed over.
"Bear of flames!" Brian continued to use the flame spell, but found that they had become much stronger. The ghost easily extinguished the flames on his body and continued to fly over.
Daphne imitated him to put out a few flame curses, but it also had little effect. In a blink of an eye, the two of them were about to be surrounded.
"How is that possible..." Brian stood in front of Daphne and continued to try the coma curse, explosion curse and bone-breaking curse, etc., but none of them could stop them from moving forward.
"Get out!" Brian took Daphne's hand and finally ran out before the ghost surrounded them.
"Will they become stronger?" Daphne gasped.
"No, this is not right..." Brian pondered, "They are too strong, there is no process, so we can't pass here."
Brian suddenly thought of something, and he said, "You wait here first, and I'll try it in."
Daphne gritted her teeth and nodded, "Then be careful."
"It's okay, just believe me." Brian turned his head and smiled, his voice very light.
Daphne stared at him in a daze, showing a bright smile: "Well, I believe in you."
Brian entered the cold area again, and used the flame spell again toward a ghost, easily solving it.
"Sure enough," Brian smiled, "It's because Daphne didn't pass through the dream, but was woken up by me. She would feel that the things ahead were terrible... Maybe that represents 'death'."
"And these ghosts may reflect people's fear of death. The more they are afraid of death, the stronger they will be..."
Brian seemed a little indifferent.
I have to say that what he feared was never death itself.
He explained to Daphne and asked her to wait here. Daphne seemed a little disappointed, but she also obediently stayed there.
Brian continued on, easily clearing the ghosts along the way.
Gradually, the hazy light was right in front of him.
It is pure and beautiful, making people happy, but it can always induce people's most primitive fear.
