186. Stonetalon Mountains

The Stone Claw Mountains where the dragon lives are the largest mountainous belt in the abyss, with mountainous terrain accounting for two-thirds and the remaining one-third are plains. It is said that the origin of the name Stone Claw Mountains is probably because of this stretchy mountain, which looks like an upside-down dragon claw.

The Dragon Clan relies on the Black Stone Dwarves to build dungeons among the mountains for a long history. About a few thousand years ago, a prosperous dynasty dominated by the Dragon Clan appeared here. Later, the Dragon Clan was destroyed and the Stone Claw Mountains fell once. After hundreds or thousands of years, it was deserted. Until the Red Dragon Queen reunified the Dragon Clan, the Dragon Clan re-established a new order and city here, and Dragon Fort is now the capital of the dragons.

Of course, if the dragon race rises to a lord's power, it is not just a dragon. There are also many vassals of giant dragons, such as the Black Stone Dwarf mentioned earlier, as well as the lizardman, dragon eagle, taurus and other creatures, jointly built this power group.

Looking at the mountains here from the sky in Rance in Aruba is a beautiful sight that you can never enjoy from the ground. Look carefully! The towering palaces hidden among the mountains, the magnificent city gates, and the entrances to the underground palaces. The huge dungeon is built in these unobstructed mountains that are difficult to distinguish with the naked eye, and is well connected. The busy dwarves on the ground are pulling ropes to erect huge stone statues. The guards of the lizardmen are patrolling back and forth, and further ahead, there are a graceful snow-capped mountains.

"Did you see that towering castle?" Aruba asked.

"Ah." Lance answered only one word, but his eyes were inseparable.

"That's Dragon Castle!" Aruba said proudly: "Where Her Majesty lives."

How should I say that this Dragon Fort is built on the top of the most steepest and highest-altitude mountain in the Shizhao Mountains. It is conceivable that the mountain here is dangerous and difficult to build. However, the entire huge city gives people an indestructible feeling, and it looks extremely sacred and solemn under the amiable snow.

Aruba seemed quite satisfied with Lance's shock. He asked, "Have Mr. Lancelot hadn't been to Dragon Fort before?"

"No." Lance answered honestly, still immersed in the shock brought by Dragon Castle. To be honest, he grew up in the slurry lord castle and visited the unparalleled Demon King City. However, in terms of the oppression and suffocation brought by the building, the Dragon Castle standing on the top of the mountain in front of him was unprecedented.

"Then enjoy it." The dragon laughed loudly. He had already flew into the sky above the Dragon Fort and greeted the flying dragon patrol beside him. Aruba said, "Hurry up, we are going to land."

Dragon Castle refers not only to this giant city block built against the mountain, but also to the castle on the top of the mountain where the queen really lives. Of course, in order to show respect and ensure the queen's safety, there is a no-fly area on the castle. All flying dragons must land in the outer city and then walk into the Dragon Castle, otherwise they will be attacked by the Dragon Guard.

Lance glanced at the crowds of flying guys in the sky, they were much bigger than Aruba and the others. Aruba told him that this was the Royal Guard stationed in Dragon City.

After landing, Lance found that the Dragon Castle was much different from what he imagined. In his imagination, the so-called Dragon Castle was the place where a large group of giant dragons gathered, with huge caves shining with fire. The dragons were dormant in it, and the earth was shaking the mountains. But the scene in front of him was completely different from that of a snow country. After landing, Aruba became a human form again.

Regarding the doubts on Lance's face, Aruba explained: "It was indeed like that before, and everyone would find a place to live easily. But later the Queen issued an order that in the Dragon Castle, other dragons must maintain human form, although it is not very convenient, but when it comes to getting used to it, it is just like that. But then again, there are at least thousands of dragons gathered in the Dragon Castle. If everyone had kept the dragon form, it would have collapsed here long ago."

Lance looked and found that in addition to the dragon, there were many other races in Dragon Castle.

"Does these creatures live with you? I thought there are only dragons in Dragon Castle."

Aruba laughed: "The Lords Castle and the Demon King City are not just demons. There are so many affairs in the Dragon Castle, and some people always need to share them. Our giant dragons are usually only responsible for guarding the Dragon Castle and security in airspace. Other ordinary miscellaneous items are left to the attendants, and even some borders and outer circles are responsible for the defense."

While talking, Jill and the others followed him. Aruba walked over and talked to the guards for a few words, then turned around and said to Lance and Jill, "Let's go."

The group did not delay and began to walk up the mountain road piled up by ice and snow. This was a spiral ladder. If you look down, it would be a very terrifying scene of cliffs. However, if you just look up, the castle built in the sky became more and more distinct.

It was not far from the outer city to Long Castle, so it didn't take much time to Lance and the others. When the majestic city gate appeared in front of Lance and others, Aruba handed Lance and others over to the guards of the castle and instructed: "Now I'm going to report to Her Majesty the Queen, they will take you to the lounge to wait. The Queen's affairs are a little busy and may not be able to receive you so quickly. Please be patient."

After Aruba said that, he communicated with the guards beside him in dragon language, probably entrusting them with tasks.

Aruba did not give a specific time for the meeting, which made Jill frown, but the guests followed the host, especially when they were here, Jill knew that it would be useless to protest more, but instead made the other party unhappy. He could only remind him indirectly: "If you have any hard work, we still have military affairs. Please help me convey the faster the better."

"I know." Aruba nodded and left, while Lance and Jill were taken into a separate living room to wait. There was no bed in the room, but a coffee table and several chairs were placed around a fireplace, which should be a place for guests to wait. The waiters in charge of leading the way left after preparing some tea and snacks for Lance and Jill. They simply left Lance and Jill here.

Under such circumstances, only the two brothers of the Igusas family remained in the room. Lans thought Jill would get angry about the fact that he had cheated him, but after waiting for a long time, he didn't see any movement. He was just drinking tea on his own, but Lance couldn't help it: "I said it's really good that you're drinking tea here so leisurely, and the Demon King City is about to be unable to catch up."

Jill lowered the edge of the cup and glanced at Lance with the corner of his eyes, "I'll be grateful if you're willing to calm down for a while."

Lance responded with a loud whistle, then turned around and walked outward.

"What are you going to do again?" Jill raised his eyebrows and finally couldn't help but put down the teacup. If Lance was to disgust him, then this strategy had to be said to be very successful. Because Jill really couldn't let him ignore it, otherwise God would know what kind of leak he would make.

But Lance rolled his eyes and said angrily: "Go to the toilet, do you want to follow me too?"

Jill withdrew his gaze and stopped looking at him, and then Lance came out of the room with a swagger.

He wanted to find someone to ask about the way, but the guards who led the way just now walked away, and there was no one left to guard the door. I don’t know where this place was. Lance searched for a long time but couldn’t find a convenient place. In the end, he had no choice but to find an inconspicuous tree in the corner and solved the physiological problems.

However, after Lance settled this urgent problem, he discovered a bigger crisis - that is, he did not know the way back at all.

"Hey, am I that far?" Lance scratched his head, looked around, muttering to himself: "I remember from that fork and then turned right. What's going on? I remember there was a flower bed and a fountain there..."

In fact, Lance has realized that ordinary people call this kind of situation where they look like it, which is called getting lost.

"You have to find someone to ask for the way." Although that's the case, if you can ask passers-by, Lance doesn't have this embarrassment now. He instinctively felt a little bad, because judging from the journey he had just walked and the surrounding environment, he might have come to something amazing.

Compared with the simple houses and snowy shrubs at the beginning, the scenery here has become obviously different. The flower beds blooming in the snow and the stylish building, and Lance is the lord's son, so he naturally knows what this means - I'm afraid he has now entered the backyard of a person with status.

In the past, Lance had had several experiences entering the deep boudoir and having a few times when he was in the Lord's Fort. If it were normal, Lance might have been a little excited, but when he thought that he was touching a female dragon's nest, Lance's cold sweat began to appear.

[Dragon Castle is where Her Majesty the Queen lives.] Lance's voice replayed in his mind. If he really bumped into it, would he swallow himself into his stomach?

"Let's go back..." Lance instinctively felt something was wrong. Just as he was about to leave, he suddenly heard a sound.

This should have been a gratifying thing, because Lance finally met a living person and was about to go up and ask for a way, but what he saw was a team of guards walking out with a body: "I'm so brave. He even dared to break in the queen's bedroom. I really don't know how the word "death" is written."

The guard who opened the way with a big sword was still splashing with sparks, and his apricot yellow eyes looked around: "Search around quickly to see if this guy has any other accomplices, hurry up and catch it and kill it. If it disturbs Her Majesty's peace, you can wait to peel off the skin."

With the roar of the guard leader, the row of Dragon Clan guards immediately scattered to find someone. The guard who was still holding the corpse in his hand was still standing there, and suddenly seemed to sense something, he looked at the place where Lance was hiding in confusion.

Lance really felt a little bit in his heart. He still remembered that Aruba and the others could smell something called the Dragon Seal on his body. Now that he went out, he was probably killed by the other party as a thief or an assassin before he could speak. Should he cheat people like this?

The guard holding the blade was approaching Lance with suspicion, and Lance's heart also rose to his throat.

"Belal, what are you rushing?" At the critical moment, someone behind him called out the chief guard.

"Uh, I seem to feel the Queen's breath here... Forget it, I must have made a mistake." The guard named Belal shook his head. The Queen is obviously receiving guests from the main hall now, so how could she appear here? She must have made a mistake...

It was all these damn assassins who made me feel a little bit full of weapons. I won’t swallow you alive after I catch you!

Belal walked away with the officer who called him in a swearing voice, leaving Lance hiding among the bushes sweating profusely. (To be continued...)
