28 Always I think, therefore I am

"Bingling, do you believe there are ghosts in the world?" Feng Junzi sat at the dining table and asked Taomu Ling.

Taomuling: "I believe it."

Peach Muling's straightforward answer surprised Feng Junzi: "I thought your education should be considered a senior intellectual. How could he believe that there are ghosts in the world?"

Taomuling: "It's not surprising. The ghosts we mean not the same. My major is psychology, which studies the spiritual world of people. Everything in the spiritual world is a projection of the real world in people's hearts. If there is such a ghost in the human heart, then ghosts exist."

Feng Junzi blinked: "The world is a dialectical and abstract existence. It turns out that you believe in Hegel's philosophy."

Taomuling: "You can't say that, it's difficult to find the roots of a sect in philosophy. Freud, the founder of neural analysis, is still a scientific myth, or modern theology. My tutor once told us a popular saying in class in contemporary China."

Feng Junzi: "What are you saying, have I heard of it?"

Taomuling: "You must have heard that the old society turns people into ghosts, and the new society turns ghosts into humans."

Feng Junzi laughed loudly when he heard this, and after a while, he said, "So this is what your mentor is also promoting socialism?"

Taomuling: "It's not what you think. Our tutors meant to study the spiritual phenomena of social groups, not to say which phenomenon is better or worse than the other."

Feng Junzi: "Sartre once said, 'No situation is more free than another situation,' It turns out that your mentor is an existentialist."

Taomuling: "It doesn't seem like what you said. My supervisor belongs to the Jungian school, and his major is personality analysis. I don't know what the relationship has to do with existentialism. But he did tell us that 'ghosts are also an existence,' I think you can understand what I mean."

Feng Junzi: "The reason why the threshold becomes the threshold is not because of its own, but because of its place."

Taomuling: "Who said this?"

Feng Junzi: "From Aristotle's "Metaphysics"."

Taomuling looked at Feng Junzi with a slightly surprised look and said, "Your proficiency surprised me. We rarely talk about such in-depth issues when communicating with our Chinese counterparts. The West often thinks that contemporary Chinese scholars lack spirituality."

Feng Junzi sighed: "I heard a disgusting guy say the same thing in the restaurant. There is no way to do this. This place has its legal philosophy."

Taomuling: "Can philosophy be legal? Can soul phenomena be legislated, or legislation stipulates whether ghosts and gods exist? This is not a matter determined by secular rules."

Feng Junzi: "You live in the West but forget the history of the West. In medieval Europe, not only philosophy was legal, but even religion and theology also had its legal status. What's so surprising now here!"

Taomuling looked at Feng Junzi's eyes and asked thoughtfully: "Why did you suddenly talk to me about this topic today? It seems that you have really seen a ghost. What kind of soul is this? Can I see it too?"

Feng Junzi: "I know I can't hide it from you. I really saw it, and it was my initiative. But you can't see her because you can't see or hear it."

Taomuling: "I have a way. As long as you can contact it, I can contact it. Can you cooperate with me to do a small experiment?"

Feng Junzi quickly waved his hand: "Forget it, it's not the time for you to meet, so I'll talk about it then."

...

Feng Junzi and Taomuling got along more and more harmoniously. He rarely found someone to communicate like this, and even felt like he met a close friend. However, when he faced Lin Zhenzhen, he didn't know how to clean up his mood. After a few days, Lin Zhenzhen became much haggard and seemed to have become a different person. He was not like a tomboy in the past, and even his eyes were dim and flickering. He didn't want to meet Feng Junzi's gaze.

Feng Junzi and Lin Zhenzhen came out to meet. After meeting, they didn't know how to speak, so they just silently handed Lin Zhenzhen a stack of documents. Lin Zhenzhen took the folder and turned it through pages. As she looked, her face and eyes turned red, and her breathing became rapid. Before Lin Zhenzhen could speak, Feng Junzi spoke first: "These things were obtained by Chang Wu, so don't ask how he got them. It may be that someone threatened you with these things, but you no longer have to be afraid... Have you finished reading them?"

"I've finished watching." Lin Zhenzhen's voice was a little dull.

"I'll give it to me after reading it." Feng Junzi took the file and lit the lighter. The file disappeared in the fire one by one.

Lin Zhenzhen asked in surprise: "Why did you burn it? These are all evidence of guilt!"

Feng Junzi replied expressionlessly: "These are indeed evidence of crimes, the evidence of Sun Weidong and others, and also the evidence of your crimes. When Chang Wu gave me the materials, he said, 'The purpose of catching bad people is to protect good people, so we cannot hurt good people while the bad people are arrested, otherwise we will lose their original meaning.' So I will destroy it in front of you."

Lin Zhenzhen gritted her teeth and said, "I would rather die with these people."

Feng Junzi: "Zhenzhen, don't do this. You are not wrong. Don't let Chang Wu down. As a policeman, he has made a mistake in stealing. Destroying evidence of crime is a mistake, so he cannot do this in front of you. He specifically begged me to see you."

Lin Zhenzhen lowered her head: "Thank you."

Feng Junzi: "Don't thank me. If you want to thank me, thank Chang Wu. I did nothing. There is one thing I want to tell you, that is, if today's thing has passed, pretend that it has not happened. Don't mention this to your family, friends, and anyone including me and Chang Wu, otherwise you will harm yourself and implicate Chang Wu."

Lin Zhenzhen looked at the ashes on the ground: "What a pity, continue to let these people get away with it."

Feng Junzi: "You can't think so either. My thoughts are different from Chang Wu. He believes that evidence of guilt is a means to punish bad people, but he doesn't know what kind of secret is the most threatening secret."

Lin Zhenzhen: "What does it mean?"

Feng Junzi: "The secret that does not exist is the real threat. Now Sun Weidong must be trying his best to find these materials, but he can never find them back. He will always live in fear... Zhenzhen, what do you still want to do in the newspaper? Have you ever thought about changing a job?"

Lin Zhenzhen: "Some time ago, a magazine wanted me to go there, but..."

Feng Junzi looked at Lin Zhenzhen's desire to speak but stopped, and couldn't help but whisper: "There is another thing I want to tell you, that is, Sun Weidong's office not only lost these documents, but also lost many other things, almost everything - the filing cabinet and the things in the desk are gone, and it may be haunted there. Don't stay in a haunted place, leave quickly."

Lin Zhenzhen then raised her head: "What you said is true. All the things in Sun Weidong's desk are gone? What's going on? Where did they go?"

Feng Junzi: "Of course it's true. Maybe it's wrapped in a stone and threw it into the sea... I've said just now. I'll pretend that this has not happened in the future. Don't mention it with anyone, including me and Chang Wu."

Lin Zhenzhen: "Does Chang Wu know that there is a video in Sun Weidong's desk?"

Feng Junzi: "Chang Wu doesn't know, but that video no longer exists. Even the computer hard drive in the room has been removed. Don't mention this matter again in the future, it's over."

Lin Zhenzhen: "I will go back to the reporter station to go through the resignation procedures immediately."

Feng Junzi: "Chang Wu said that he would wait for you at the entrance of your press station at 3:30 this afternoon and help you pack your things. Now the time is coming, and you should go, don't let him wait for a long time."

...

Feng Junzi thought he had handled Lin Zhenzhen's affairs quickly enough, but he also had some negligence. Lin Zhenzhen's resignation so simply immediately aroused Sun Weidong's vigilance. At around 10 o'clock that night, Feng Junzi heard about Chang Wu's injury.

The incident happened at around 8 o'clock in the evening. The target of the perpetrator was not Chang Wu but Lin Zhenzhen beside Chang Wu. The location was on the way to Lin Zhenzhen's dormitory. That afternoon, Chang Wu accompanied Lin Zhenzhen to submit his resignation application, simply packed up the things in the office, and had dinner with her. After dinner, he accompanied Lin Zhenzhen to the dormitory of the reporter station to pack other things. Although Lin Zhenzhen's parents lived in Binhai, she had a Beijing household registration and was transferred to Binhai for work. The reporter station also gave her a single dormitory. Lin Zhenzhen often did not go home to live in the dormitory.

Chang Wu and Lin Zhenzhen were attacked while walking through a remote and deserted street. Although Chang Wu was not a martial arts master like Xiao Zhengrong, he was quite skilled than ordinary people. He might have been able to deal with the three thugs. But the incident happened too suddenly. Chang Wu only came and stretched out his arm to block the first knife at Lin Zhenzhen, and then launched a counterattack and knocked down two of them. The other person had to take action. Chang Wu shouted in front of Lin Zhenzhen: "If you don't stop, I'll shoot." Chang Wu actually didn't bring a gun, but this loud shout scared away the three of them. Lin Zhenzhen held Chang Wu from behind, and his tentacles were covered in blood.

It was the next morning when Chang Wu woke up. The first thing he saw was Feng Junzi, Lin Zhenzhen's mother, Yuan Xiaoxia and colleagues from the criminal police team, but he did not see Lin Zhenzhen. Seeing Chang Wu open his eyes, Feng Junzi sitting in front of the bed said jokingly: "Boy, you have finally woken up. You must know that sleeping in is not a good habit."

When everyone saw Chang Wu wake up, they all breathed a sigh of relief and gathered in front of them. Yuan Xiaoxia leaned forward and said, "Captain Chang bravely fought against the robbers with bare hands. The team has decided to write your advanced deeds into materials and report them to the bureau. It seems that your deputy captain has hope of formal correction this time."

Chang Wu obviously hadn't figured out what was going on. He looked around and asked, "What robber? What about Lin Zhenzhen, how is she?"

Mother Lin, who was beside him, said softly: "It's really okay. I'll rest in the ward next door. When you wake up, I will immediately call her to come and see you."

Chang Wu: "What? She lives in the ward, is she injured?"

Feng Junzi interrupted, "I was not injured, but I was suddenly pumped 500cc of blood by the doctor, and I'm afraid I have to rest, right?"

Chang Wu: "500cc blood, what's going on?"

Feng Junzi: "It's not just to save you. In fact, your kid is not seriously injured. It's all skin trauma. After bandaging it, it's okay after lying for two days. It seems that he learned how to block the knife. It's just that he lost too much blood last night and was in a critical condition when he was sent to the hospital."

Chang Wu: "Then Lin Zhenzhen doesn't need to give me blood transfusions. Now the hospital has a system, and blood stations provide blood supply to blood banned on-site blood collection."

Feng Junzi: "Who knows why you kid was so lucky last night? The driver at the Blood Station drank too much and drove the van that sent blood in the emergency room into the ditch. He is still in the hospital now. If you have to wait for the Blood Station to find someone to send a car to deliver blood, you may be dead. You have to collect blood on the spot. Unfortunately, it's not that I'm not a friend enough. Only Lin Zhenzhen and Yuan Xiaoxia who came to the evening had a type A blood type like you. However, when Officer Yuan came, the second blood delivery car at the Blood Station had arrived, so only Lin Zhenzhen..."

Feng Junzi said a lot of words, and Chang Wu finally understood. It turned out that after he was injured last night, Lin Zhenzhen saved his life. He only listened to Feng Junzi's words: "Chang Wu, please have a good rest. Dad Lin and Mother Lin moved their home to the hospital and will take good care of you both. Your team has begun to hunt down those gangsters, and even our Captain Chang dares to move. He is too brave. Don't worry, this kind of thing will not happen to you in the future... Even if you wake up, I can handle other things with confidence."
