Chapter 1 Desert Island

When Tianyi opened his eyes, he saw the sky, which was not a good sign for him.

When I sat up, I found myself lying on a beach and looking to the right. The water and sky meet in the distance, the blue sea and the sky are clear and the water is white. When I look to the left, I find a dense coconut forest, lush and dense layers. By observing the coastline, I can basically know that this is an island, not land.

Tianyi was still wearing that dirty black suit, with a black shirt with an open and wrinkled collar inside. There was nothing in his pocket, but in this case, he still turned it over again to prevent any crabs and other animals from crawling into the clothes.

There were more than ten people lying on the beach, but they had not yet woken up. Tianyi could not sense any valuable information from these people. They were all ordinary people, including those who were incapable or transformed.

Tianyi's head hurts very much. He can't remember how he came here. The most basic inference should be that he was drugged or knocked unconscious, and then brought it here, but who did the question?

He concentrated on his mind, recalled and reasoned: If anyone in the world could approach me silently and knock me out, it would be a mirror face, but it would be a death when it fell into this guy's hands, and there was no reason to be sent to such an inexplicable island; then, it might be drugged or... a sniper of a remote anesthesia bomb? This involves another question, how was the whereabouts of the bookstore discovered?

In April, when I was in the Demon City, 90% of the mirror faces were probably found by Wei Sheng’s power. Could it be that Wei Sheng once again tracked my location and sold the information to another person... So, who is that person? What does it mean to send me to this island?

People from the Empire can be eliminated first. If I fall into their hands, I will definitely be thrown into the Tide Prison; and most other forces or individuals who are capable of achieving this level do not know that there is still a person like me in the world, so how can I do such a thing? Wait...

Could it be that I was caught because I was treated as an ordinary person...

Thinking of this, Tianyi looked at the people on the beach again. They were dressed in a very unique way, both men, women, young and old, and had different skin colors and races. It seemed that they were civilians who were captured from all over the world based on random standards.

Tianyi said to himself: "That's true, I can only blame my luck... It's when the world is about to change, but I'm involved in something strange. Hum... Well, anyway, the consultant will find out if I'm missing. I'll see what kind of thing is doing here."

About ten minutes later, people on the beach woke up one after another, and their reactions were almost the same, such as panic, doubt, fear, and obvious headaches.

After all the twelve people except Tianyi woke up, a man in his thirties saved up all the people and said some comforting words. The general meaning is to be calm. He is a policeman, so there is no need to worry. Let's see if anyone is injured first.

Tianyi ignored every word that popped out of the man named Yang Gang. When the guy was about to take on the position of leader spontaneously, Tianyi was observing the people around him. Just like reading books, it was also interesting to see people. Their way of thinking, values, personality, and abilities can all be reflected in very subtle actions and reactions to the situation in front of him.

"Does anyone know where we are?" Yang Gang said to everyone.

Everyone whispered for a while, but no one answered him, so he continued, "Does anyone remember how he came here?"

At this time, a young black guy dressed in hip-hop fucked an authentic street accent and said, "Man, can't you still see it? This must be done by aliens! Yes, I've been paying attention to them for several years. They can wash away human memories, so we can't remember anything. I bet these bastards will catch us here and put the metal detector into our ass at night!"

"Okay okay... man, you can also refer to your views. Can anyone provide more constructive opinions?" Yang Gang said.

"I have one." The man who spoke with a beard, white man, bald head, a tiger-back, bear-back, a little beer belly, as strong as a cow. He walked up to Yang Gang and deliberately stared at the other party with condescending eyes: "My opinion is, why, naturally, you boy, became the leader."

"I don't mean that..." Yang Gang replied.

The bald man interrupted, "Okay, I know the tricks of people like you. Now you are playing heroes and good people here. When people come to their senses, you are already giving orders."

"I just think someone has to come forward and do something." Yang Gang said: "Sir, if you have any objections to me, or think that it will be helpful to everyone if you ask these questions..."

Listening to Yang Gang's remarks like this, not long after, several ladies and two young people who looked like office workers expressed their agreement. The crowd started to cheer and let the bald man not make trouble.

Tian Yi watched like an outsider, sneering at the news of what happened in front of him, and thought to himself: "In such an unknown situation, the first thing a person does is to meet his most basic needs - safety. The weak need to rely on the strong, and the strong need to use the weak. Under this premise, a hypocritical attitude like Yang Gang is much wiser than the bald-headed look tense. Yang Gang's words are very cunning, 'someone must be', 'helps for everyone'... Put the bald-headed on the side opposite to the entire group, so the argument becomes meaningless."

Soon after, the debate stopped. Yang Gang was still in control of the scene. He suggested that everyone introduce themselves and tell me the time and place of the last memory.

He himself took the lead: "As I said just now, my name is Yang Gang, a native of Longjun, and I am a policeman. Before I came here, the last thing I remember was that I was on duty on the street..."

When the twelve people introduced themselves one by one, a woman standing behind Tianyi side patted Tianyi on the shoulder and whispered to him: "Sir."

Tianyi turned his head slightly and whispered, "What's the point?"

"I've seen that person... he's not a policeman at all." The woman said in a whispering voice.

Tianyi actually knew about this, but he was too lazy to expose the various flaws in Yang Gang. However, he didn't know the background of the woman around him, so he replied calmly: "Oh? Then why did you tell me specifically?"

The woman replied: "The others already thought that he was a good person who could rely on. They had just spoken for him, and only you have always used this..." She was speechless for a moment, not knowing how to use more elegant words to describe Tianyi's eyes when he looked at Yang Gang.

Tianyi understood what she meant and replied directly: "Oh, I understand. You think that publicly exposing him without evidence may not be successful and will cause trouble for yourself. But he also hopes to convey this information to others, so let's start with me, who doesn't seem to agree with him very much."

"Yeah, yes."

Tianyi said again, "Why don't you tell the bald gentleman that he has publicly challenged Yang Gang."

The woman replied, "With his personality, he would yell out this matter in less than five seconds, and would say that it was what I told him. When he said it, others would even disbelief."

Tian Yi smiled, but didn't say anything, because it was his turn to introduce himself at this time.
