Chapter seven hundred and fourteen bombing Japan(2/2)

"Yes, I will be the doorkeeper today."

Meng Shaoyuan took a sip of tea and said happily...

When greeting these pilots at the airport, there was also no idle time outside the airport.

Military special agents, death squads, and security teams were all mobilized to assist in monitoring and protecting the airport's perimeter security.

Until now, these people still don't know who the important people are at the airport.

They also speculated privately.

Some people even boldly guessed whether the chairman of the committee came to Ningbo?

But no matter who is coming, this is Director Meng’s order anyway...

Meng Shaoyuan was in high spirits and not tired at all.

Suddenly, the phone next to me rang.

Meng Shaoyuan quickly picked up the phone: "I'm Meng Shaoyuan...Yes, yes, I understand."

After hanging up the phone, he stood up.

Knocked on a door behind me:

"Order, assemble!"

Just saying this, all the doors were opened!

Now, it’s 11 o’clock at night on May 19th!

Everyone is waiting.

The air seems to have solidified!

Luo Liangjian didn't know how many cigarettes he had smoked today.

All preparations are completed.

The pilots are ready to go!

Now, all we have to wait for is the final order from the headquarters!

No one spoke.

Suddenly, the office door was pushed open, and Luo Liangjian's secretary walked in hurriedly:

"Headquarters call!"

"read!"

"Execute the mission immediately!"

Luo Liangjian stood up with a bang:

"Execute the mission immediately!"

In the 27th year of the Republic of China, on May 19, 1938, the headquarters issued the final order to carry out the mission.

At 23:48, two Martin-139WC bombers 1403 and 1404 took off from Lishe Airport in Ningbo, Zhejiang, on a mission to bomb the Japanese mainland!

At the airport, everyone watched the plane take off and take off.

The sky carries the expectations of countless Chinese people!

Meng Shaoyuan raised his hand and saluted the blue sky with a straight military salute!

Two proud Silver Eagles have taken off!

Target, Japan!

The fleet carrying 1 million leaflets first turned south after setting sail from Ningbo, and then flew to Japan's Kyushu Island.

At 2:25 a.m. on May 20, the plane arrived over Kyushu Island, Japan.

"According to the aeronautical chart, the city below is Nagasaki!"

"Get ready to drop the bomb!"

"Bomb preparation is complete!"

The plane begins to lose altitude!

The crew's communicators Chen Guangdou and Wu Jichong immediately took out the sacks filled with leaflets from their respective tail compartments.

When the plane's altitude dropped to 3,500 meters, Xu Huansheng said calmly:

"bomb!"

"bomb!"

One after another, leaflets were thrown from the square shooting holes under the cabin like white bombs, flying toward Japanese territory.

After that, the two-plane formation started from Nagasaki and flew north in a large arc. It arrived over Fukuoka at 3:45 and dropped flares while dropping leaflets.

At 4:32, the formation flew over Kitakyushu and dropped all the remaining leaflets.

The role of flares is undoubtedly obvious.

Some Japanese people who got up early in the morning quickly discovered something strange.

The owner of a sushi restaurant in Nagasaki, Japan, opened the door and suddenly found flyers everywhere in front of the door.

The leaflets were printed with Chinese and Japanese text:

"Your country's invasion of China is a serious crime. If you don't do this again, millions of leaflets will turn into kiloton bombs. If you don't do it again, stop it."

Nagasaki is located in Kyushu, Japan, thousands of miles away from mainland China. Only airplanes can fly across the ocean. So many leaflets were dropped on Nagasaki, and the Japanese who understood it instantly panicked.

It was only at this time that the Japanese air defense department woke up from their dream and imposed a light blackout on Fukuoka. The whole city was dark, and ground anti-aircraft guns also opened fire fiercely.

However, the two planes were still allowed to leave Japanese airspace and go to sea, returning successfully.

The Japanese security department immediately searched the area and handed the flyer to Oji Paper's Yashirogi Factory for testing, which confirmed that the flyer did come from China.

When the news came out, the local people were very panicked and expressed doubts about the authorities' claim that "Japan's mainland defense is impregnable."

Although this air raid, called "paper bombing" and "humanitarian expedition", did not change Japan's behavior of invading China, it completely shattered the false statement that "Japan's sacred airspace is inaccessible".

This was the first time in history that Japan was attacked by foreign aircraft.

"This is all our Chinese Air Force can do!"

Meng Shaoyuan later told his subordinates: "Our strength can only carry paper bombs. If we can carry real bombs and directly bomb the Japanese mainland, it may change the outcome of the war."

But this is enough.

The almost completely destroyed Chinese Air Force and their heroic Chinese Air Force pilots have accomplished an incredible miracle.

This will bring a huge shock to the Japanese. This shows that the Chinese Air Force is still fighting, and the Chinese Air Force has the ability to directly bomb the Japanese mainland!
