24. The war broke out(2/2)
Monk Yuanwu turned the mottled Buddhist beads in his hand, and he said softly in his old and weak voice:
"Disciple, you have fallen into the world of worldly disorganization. Your heart is like a Bodhisattva sitting down and not seeing the Dharma. It is full of sorrow. The turning point is very great. What happened to you?"
The Mustard Monk was silent for a moment.
He knelt down behind Monk Yuanwu and replied:
"The disciple disappointed the master. However, the six senses are no longer purified, and the heart is greedy for the world and cannot let go."
"oh?"
The old monk pursed his lips, and a smile appeared on his old face, and he said:
"Why are I disappointed? Amitabha, my disciples have no regrets. In the past, the false thoughts have fallen into the spiritual platform. Although I have no Zen intention, I am blessed in disguise and have already picked up the heavy world.
If you can let go, you can be sacrificed, enter my Buddhism, and receive my Buddhism.
This is a great thing. When the Jinling incident happened, I followed my teacher to go back to Nirvana Temple and practiced hard against the wall. After three years, I will be slaughtered for you.”
Before the Mustard Monk could speak, Chen Qiu stepped forward, bowed to the old monk to the end, and said softly:
"Master Yuanwu, please forgive me for being rude, but Master Mustard Seed should not be slandered!"
He raised his head and looked at the old monk's clear gaze, and he said:
"Master Mustard Seed, the world is not over. If you really enter Buddhism, it will not be a good deed, but a tragic matter."
"Why is this?"
The old monk blinked his eyes. He seemed to be very curious and asked Chen Qiu:
"I said that my disciple has already seen the state of mind and has eliminated his delusions. He can enter Buddhism and find bloody descendants in the secular world and feel satisfied. Is there any conflict between these two?"
"Ah this..."
Chen Qiu was asked nothing to say.
The old monk spread his hands and asked again:
"Who told you, a child, that if I am a Buddhist, I have to cut off my feelings and righteousness?
Who told you that if you practice my Buddhism, you will be free from worries in the world?
Isn’t this the compassion of my Buddhist mercy?”
Zen Master Yuanwu stood up, his waist slightly bowed, he pronounced the Buddha's name and said to the two behind him:
"If there is a Buddha in your heart, and wine and meat penetrate the intestines, it is also a practice; if there is no Buddha in your heart, you will not be liberated even if you recite the scriptures thousands of times. People in the world slander me as a stone sculpture and clay sculpture, and will not be satisfied.
But I don’t know that it’s not that the Buddha is not effective, but that others don’t believe it in their hearts.
If you really believe it, this world will be blissful in the West.”
The old monk breathed a sigh of relief. He turned around, folded his hands together and said to Chen Qiu:
"You young man, you are roaring with a shackle in your heart, wanting to break free from the bondage in order to hurt others. You have to recite the scriptures with me for a few years than my disciple."
Chen Qiu looked embarrassed.
Zen Master Yuanwu did not rebuke him openly.
But what I said just now explained to him the Buddhist principles of Nirvana Temple.
Chen Qiu didn't hear what it was, but it was certain that it was not the same as the kind of practice that was closed-door and pure practice in his memory and cut off all things. Zen Master Yuanwu didn't care what the mustard seed monk encountered in the world.
He even valued the regret in the mustard seed monk's heart being supplemented, and he had already seen the perfect state of mind, and he didn't even care about the mustard seed monk's life in the world.
This doctrine is very free.
However, the old monk was a little unpolite about what he said to him later. He probably saw that Chen Qiu was in a state of distracting thoughts and was unable to be free.
"Master, don't be kidding."
The mustard monk stood up from the ground, patted the monk's robe and dust, and said to Monk Yuanwu:
"Chen Qiu is a person with his own opinions. He has his own bottom line in his heart and is determined to walk through the world. His master cannot persuade him."
"I didn't think about persuading you."
The old monk laughed, he glanced at Chen Qiu and said:
"But you, the Heluo hero, have already reached this level of martial arts practice, but you still have no martial arts in your heart. It's really strange. If you were not born with a superb mind, you would be a person with great wisdom.
I have a connection with my Buddhist sect, just like the donor in the past."
Zen Master Yuanwu's smile made the atmosphere in the tent relax and Chen Qiu's heart relaxed, but then he heard "Master Zhang back then", but he became suspicious again.
This Zen Master Yuanwu, who always loves to play the game, isn’t Zhang Moye talking about?
When he had to continue asking, he heard a noisy sound from outside the camp. Chen Qiuding's ears heard someone shouting:
"The Northern Controversy attacked Jiangxin Island! Hurry up! Pick up your weapons and line up!"
Hearing this, Chen Qiu's face changed. He turned around and bowed to the Mustard Monk and the old monk, then turned over and flew out, galloping towards the Jianghu Camp.
Jiangxin Island...
The Heluo Gang just now stood up, and the Northern Dynasty attacked.
