Chapter 56 Sniff is the eternal god(1/2)

The attack on Felch still had a significant impact.

For several days in a row, the students didn't talk about anything else, and they talked about the attacks he was being attacked all day long.

But everyone still has a gloating attitude.

No one likes Felch!

Felch's performance also made everyone unable to forget this incident at all times. He seemed to have suffered a serious blow, and he was cleaning the castle mechanically like a zombie.

He always muttered: "Harry Potter."

Many students regard Harry as the hero who defeated Felch.

Mrs. Loris was the weirdest. She didn't dare to get close to Felch. She ran to the cat climbing rack of Bobocha to sleep every night.

So William prepared a small nest for Mrs. Loris, and served her delicious food and drink all day long.

It would be best if Mrs. Loris could give birth to a kitten here, so that she would not be noticed by Felch without knowing it.

Although Dumbledore has always said that the secret room is not important, William still wanted to search for it and see what he found.

In fact, he had already had a goal in the secret room, and it was not too difficult to find it.

For example...a secret passage!

There are many secret passages in Hogwarts.

Some winding paths are hidden and dense forests are blocked; some are hidden deep in the valley, and the water flows outside.

Each secret passage is deep or shallow, large or tight, and the entry posture is also different.

For example, in the seventh-floor corridor of Hogwarts Castle, there is a portrait of the arithmetic diviner Winlock.

Behind the portrait is a secret passage leading to the portrait room, which is full of Hogwarts' picture frames, with the password "Snafflejak".

William has been there many times and discussed potions and spells with several of the principals, and he has benefited a lot.

There are currently seven secret passages to Hogsmeade.

In the first grade, the twins often walked through the secret passage behind the mirror on the fifth floor.

But later, William and the others found a giant snake's retreating skin inside, and the few people never walked there again.

Dumbledore speculated that the snake monster was a monster in the secret room, and that the snake monster had peeled off here, so this secret passage must have an entrance to the secret room.

When William came to this secret passage again, he was still very moved. It was not so much a secret passage as a suburb of Hogwarts.

It really looks like an underground palace, with a main road, with countless small rooms and walkways on both sides of the road.

Soon, they arrived at the building directly below the rotunda.

With the light, they could see the solid shape of forty Doric columns standing against the upper marble floor.

The building in this underground palace has no trace of time flowing, the reliefs are lifelike, and the colonnades are carved with complex ancient Runes.

When I first came, William was a first-year-old newbie, but now he can understand the texts on architecture.

"What is it said?" Cedric asked.

He also learned ancient magical writings, but he was only limited to understanding vocabulary and could not understand the above meaning at all.

"These pillars are carved with magic to protect the building from destruction."

William did not get any information about the specific purpose of the building from above.

However, this place must be a very important secret venue in the era of the Big Four.

It seems that the four giants are also doing education work on the surface and doing pyramid schemes behind their backs.

The four of them walked forward and saw the lake deep in the ground.

There is a small island in the middle of the lake.

There are pyramids on the island.

The pyramid is about two stories high and is made of granite. Under the illumination of the ground lamp, the four edges reveal the polished smoothness and exquisiteness.

The magic around ensures that no one can enter the middle of the lake.

Since they could not get close, they did not stop too much and walked towards the place where the snake monster skin was discovered.

“It’s here.”

They came to a corridor with bones of various small animals, and it was obvious that the snake monster had eaten here.

The four continued to move forward and saw the outline of a coiled behemoth.

It was a huge snake skin, pale and it looked like it had been faded for a long time.

"There is not a snake monster in the secret room, right?" Fred said worriedly.

If they find a secret room and find another one inside, they will be burping or not.

"It shouldn't be. From the perspective of food, Hogwarts can only feed one basilisk." William analyzed.

Haven't you seen this snake monster eat food like little mice?

The mouse is not enough to hold the teeth between the teeth. If there were two snake monsters, they would have been pinched up long ago.

This also shows from the side that the snake monster will not take the initiative to attack the wizard, otherwise the school would have been so delicious that it would have been a long time ago.

"But be careful," George said, pulling out a rooster from the ring.

The rooster's cry is deadly to the basil monster.

"Where did the chicken come from?" William asked curiously.

"I stolen everything from Hagrid," George said excitedly. "Look at this chicken is big and fat. After we find a secret room, we can eat chicken in it."

William nodded. He still had a lot of seasonings on him, so he could indeed have a small barbecue.

The four of them walked forward along the corridor, and Cedric couldn't help but ask curiously:

"William, I looked up in the library books. If you want to get a basilisk, you need to hatch an egg under the body of a toad.

Since the method is so simple, there should be many basilisks, but why does Mr. Scarmander's book say that there has not been a basilisk in England for hundreds of years?"

The twins also looked at William.

William pondered for a moment and explained: "Not all eggs can hatch a snake monster, it must be a rooster egg."

"Does the rooster have eggs?" Fred asked curiously.

"Of course there are eggs for the cock," William said. "The eggs that are not conventional, but rather a mixture of cock's ointment and feces."

"This mixture will become as big as an egg after seven years of pregnancy. Because of such a fake egg in the belly, the rooster will no longer eat, constantly dig up the grass in the chicken coop, and it will not be quiet.

Then, it will avoid eyes and ears and secretly give birth to the eggs on Sirius' brightest night.

The eggs that are laid are rooster eggs, also called magic eggs."

This method of making basilisk was seen by William in the book in the library's forbidden area.

Magic is vast, and many books are just mentioned in one stroke. They will not tell you how to spell or make some magical items.

But the Hogwarts Library's restricted area can always find the answer you want.

Of course, there are times of failure.

William saw an entry about Horcrux in Tywin's book "Three Volumes of Secret Philosophy".

He searched the library's restricted area several times, but found no information on how to make the Horcrux.

It is only mentioned slightly in the preface to "The Most Evil Magic": "The most evil magic invention of the Horcrux will not be discussed here and will not be guided."

What behavior is this?

And Ferma's sentence...'I am sure I have discovered a wonderful method of proof, but unfortunately the blank space here is too small to write down'... It has the same effect.

If you don’t write it, why do you mention it?

It's simply outrageous!

"So, it takes seven years to conceive, no wonder there are so few snake monsters." Cedric shook his head.

William thought for a while and continued to popularize the science: "In fact, this kind of demon egg is not the only way to get the snake monster.

If it is not hatched by a toad, but is hatched by a poisonous snake, a chicken-body snake-tail monster will be born."

The chicken-body snake-tail monster is different from the snake monster. It has wings and is pressed against the chicken's head.

However, it is as dangerous as the Basilisk. In the 1792 Triumph Championship, the Warriors had to deal with a monster with a chicken body and a snake tail. Then the three principals were injured and many students died.

Since then, the tense and exciting Trio Championship has never been held again.

The four of them walked and chatted, and finally reached the end of the corridor, where there was a broken wall.

They walked through the wall and looked inside.

"This is... Hogwarts' sewer line," George exclaimed.

"The basilisk has been shuttled through the pipes, so everyone can't find it," Fred said.

No wonder the Snake Monster can enter the Quidditch Stadium from Black Lake.
