Chapter 24 The relationship is broken

Hearing McGonagall's doubts, Dumbledore looked up.

"Minerva, I don't like him either."

"Then you still..."

"Have you read Lockhart's book?" Dumbledore took out a book called "Wandering with Werewolf" from the bookshelf.

"I've seen it, and the content is really good, especially since he used a high-end magic of "Restoring Humanoid Spell."

The Restoring Human-Shaped Spell is a spell that can temporarily transform the wolf-shaped werewolf back into the human-Shaped Spell. This is a few effective magic before the invention of the wolf poison.

"Yeah, yeah, an outstanding magical talent," Dumbledore said calmly, "To be honest, I was also surprised when I saw the contents of this book for the first time."

Professor McGonagall raised his eyebrows. Will Dumbledore be surprised by this kind of thing?

"Minerva, I'm really surprised. Because, I happened to know an old Armenian wizard who also used this magic to defeat Waga Waga werewolf."

"Maybe...it's just a coincidence?" McGonagall said uncertainly.

"I think so too. What if Lockhart did the same thing? How could I arbitrarily wronged an innocent and outstanding wizard?" Dumbledore nodded.

"So I found the old wizard, but he had lost a lot of memories, especially the part about the werewolf."

Professor McGonagall widened his eyes, as if he was listening to an absurd story.

"Since then, I began to pay attention to Lockhart, buy all kinds of books and learn about his whereabouts."

"When people are old, there are only these benefits. They know many wizards and have heard many unpopular stories." Dumbledore's slender fingers slid across the row of bookshelfs.

β€œIn his book, I saw more and more stories that I happened to know.

But none of the masters of those stories is Lockhart!”

After hearing Dumbledore's words, Professor McGonagall was incredible. She said angrily: "Merlin, this is a fraud, a crime. Lockhart should go to Azkaban!"

"But we have no evidence." Dumbledore said distressedly.

"So, you let him come to school?"

"Yes, I believe that as long as Lockhart is put into a normal school life, his scam will be exposed." Dumbledore said seriously.

McGonagall was silent for a moment and asked again, "But what can our students learn from this vain and famous guru?"

This has been a whole year, and it is a course as important as the Black Magic Defense.

"A lot." Dumbledore said calmly: "Students can learn a lot from a bad teacher: don't do anything, don't do something.

I think it is also very important to educate students on how to be a human being.”

Professor McGonagall nodded thoughtfully.

Time flies. In the last week of summer vacation, William and the other two left one home and returned to their other two homes in London.

Before leaving, William cast a lot of guardian magic around the yard.

There are many types of guardian magic: expelling the Muggle spell, guarding the peace, and protecting them all... But the most useful one is the spell of loyalty.

The Mantra of Loyalty is an extremely complex mantra that uses magic to hide someone's secrets forever in the soul of a living person.

The secret is hidden in the heart of the selected person, that is, the person who keeps the secret, so it will never be discovered unless the person who keeps the secret person actively leaks it.

As long as the confidential person does not disclose it, even if the thief puts his nose on the glass of their living room, he will not see them.

William also used this magic, and he was still a secret person, and the only ones who could enter the house were Hermione, Anne, Dumbledore and Nicole.

After the summer vacation, William and the other three will come back once on Christmas or weekends, and spend most of their time at school.

There is indeed a need to keep it confidential here to prevent outsiders from breaking in.

Soon, the summer vacation is over.

Roy drove William and Anne to the station. They waited for a while on the 9th platform, and Hermione arrived.

The three of them entered the train together.

They walked along the corridor, looking for empty cars.

Annie looked into a box and said, "There is still a place here, only Luna."

She pulled the door open and walked into the box with Bobocha in her arms, and William and Hermione followed in.

"Hello, Luna," said Anne, "Are you the only one here?"

Luna nodded and said in a daze: "It seems that this is the case. Many students just took a look and left."

Luna inserted her wand behind her left ear, and she was wearing a necklace made of corks of butterbeer.

In addition, when she read "Singing the Spoken Talent", she actually turned the magazine upside down.

It is understandable that everyone dare not come in.

Bobocha jumped out of Annie's arms, found the warmest position, and lay down.

Luna looked at them from the upside-down magazine.

"After you leave, the house disappears." Luna tilted her head.

"That's because I've lost it with magic." William quickly wrote an address on the parchment.

"Remember, you will see the house when you go back."

Luna looked down at the paper, and after a moment, the parchment roll turned into a bird, hovering over the carriage, and burning.

At this time, a very beautiful girl with long black and shiny hair was standing at the door of the box.

Behind her was a boy.

Autumn and Cedric.

The two were arguing fiercely about something.

This is not common.

When Qiu spoke, Cedric usually didn't interrupt.

After the two came in, neither of them sat together. Qiu sat next to Hermione, while Cedric sat on William's side.

The two of them were quarreling fiercely across William and Hermione.

"I think Lockhart would be a good professor, you see what he wrote in his book..."

"That's what he said!" Cedric shouted, "Lordhart is just a useless little white face."

Well, the evaluation of "no useless little white face" is usually based on some Gryffindor boys who comment on Cedric.

And those who say such words are usually ugly.

When William was in the first grade, he heard someone say this and then he was taught a lesson.

"But Dumbledore invites him to teach us..."

"Although I respect the principal, his vision is not good. Look at the professor of black magic defense that I have found for us in the past few years, which is far worse than what William usually teaches us."

"What's wrong with them?" Hermione asked in a low voice, attaching to William's ear.

"The relationship has broken down..."

Before they could finish their words, the two of them stared at William and Hermione.

Hermione and William quickly shut up and squeezed in the middle and shivered.

Luna suddenly laughed, and she let out a string of crazy laughter, waking up the bobo tea by the window.

Bobocha had a fur all over his body, jumped onto William and hissed.

Luna smiled so hard that the magazine in her hand fell off her legs and slid onto the floor.

William glanced at the magazine on the ground, suddenly noticed something, and reached out to pick it up.

It turned out to be a very exaggerated comic of Lockhart.

Lockhart was wearing a ladies' robe, and next to him was a witch in the same robe, holding a quill and a piece of parchment.

The description in the comic is: Is it a man or a woman? The big secret of Lockhart and Rita Skitter!
