Chapter 124: The Famous Mother of All Things, Holding Mysterious Afterbirth (Part 2)
Chapter 124: The famous mother of all things, holding the mysterious knot in the endogamy (Part 2)
The "fetal movement" formula that I have been unable to seek for has been a passage that I recited precociously. It is not surprising to think about it. Didn’t Feng Junzi teach the mantras before all borrow classics? Everyone can recite the classics, but no one can enlighten them, but it is just the words on paper. I asked him: "What do you mean - I am talking about the alchemy formula in this passage?"
Feng Junzi: "I may not be talking about the alchemy formula, but the alchemy can be used as the formula. The four gates and twelve levels were created by me, not by me! In addition to the Yangshen realm, most of the Taoist laws in the world use the "Eternal Life Strategy", the previous different levels of the same level were similar and different. I just borrowed it... I ask you, the book I gave you clearly wrote about "Yuan Zhiyouyuan". Why did you read it yourself as Xuan?"
"The one you gave me is a printed copy of the Siku Complete Book compiled by Ji Xiaolan. In order to avoid the taboo of Emperor Kangxi Xuanye in the Qing Dynasty, Xuan was changed to Yuan. I have read so many books, but don't you know about these?"
Feng Junzi nodded: "I can't look at you with old eyes. You are no longer the Shi Ye when I first met. My knowledge is getting older! Let me ask you another question. What I teach you is the alchemy, but you are very destined to be with Buddhist practice. Even a real monk may not be as diligent as you. This is not the ability of my master. Do you know what's going on?"
"I don't know, what do you say?"
Feng Junzi: "Newton once said something, our textbook has it. What did he stand on?"
"Standing on the shoulders of giants. What does this have to do with Newton?"
Feng Junzi: "It has nothing to do with Newton, it has something to do with his words. You have always been sitting on the shoulders of the Buddha to practice. Do you still remember the cushion I placed under the Zhuangyuan Bridge? I didn't lend so many cushions in Jiulin Zen Temple, but I just borrowed that one. There is no reason, because there is a very special thing hidden inside. This thing is famous all over the world. If it were a few years ago, I'm afraid only everyone in the Buddhist community knew it, but in recent years, almost everyone in the world knows it."
"What? Are the treasures of Buddhism? How can everyone know it?"
Feng Junzi: "I won't say it, but you'll find out what you think it would be?"
What? Relics, no, right? The Baye Leaf Sutra is unlikely to be? Sitting on the shoulders of the Buddha? Everyone in the world knows these past few years? What would it be? At this moment, I suddenly thought of a movie from a few years ago and blurted out: "Can it be a kapok robe?"
With a gurgle, Feng Junzi fell under the chair without sitting firmly. He then got up and lowered his voice and exclaimed: "God, I actually made you think it! It's indeed the token of Zen Buddhism, the kapok robe. Forget it, don't ask me, I won't say it anymore. I'm afraid it will be another storm... Let me tell you, if you practice in the future, you should not go to the top-level bridge, it's the most suitable Jingwu Cave Heaven. You can also take that cushion to Jingwu Cave Heaven... Now you go out, the Yin Shen meets at the top-level bridge in the middle of the day."
...
Some time ago, the monks of Shaolin Temple once discussed something - whether to erect a monument for someone? This person's name is Jet Li, so I don't need to introduce such a famous figure. Originally, after the monk died, he left only a relic pagoda, and there was a pagoda in Shaolin Temple. The only monument left in the temple was the ancestor Bodhidharma. Although the actor Jet Li also believed in Buddhist Zen, he was far from comparable to Bodhidharma. However, Jet Li brought two things to Shaolin Temple back then - fame and fortune!
Starting from "Shaolin Temple", Jet Li starred in a series of films set in Shaolin Temple and Shaolin Kung Fu, and has now become an international kung fu superstar. With Jet Li's journey to becoming a superstar, Shaolin Temple, with its depressed gate courtyard, has now become the most famous Buddhist temple in the world, with fame and fortune rolling around. Therefore, there will be a discussion on erecting monuments. Of course, in addition to Jet Li, another important figure, Haideng Master, is another important figure, but the influence of seadeng is far less international than Jet Li. If Zen Buddhism erected a monument to spread the Dharma, it is unreasonable to erect a monument because of fame and fortune. So this matter was later left unresolved.
"Shaolin Temple" is a movie in 1982. The crew gathered the elites of the Chinese martial arts world at that time. As soon as this film was released, it set off a kung fu climax in various parts of China. At that time, most people in the mainland did not know Bruce Lee, but everyone knew about Shaolin Temple and Jet Li. Then, Kung fu and martial arts movies were one after another, including works like "Wudang" that set off another small climax. But what is truly a classic work is the "Kapok Roof" directed by Hong Kong director Xu Xiaoming and the mainland. This movie won the Special Award for Excellent Films awarded by the Ministry of Culture of China in 1984. The importance and authority of this award at that time were no less than the various large and small reviews that are popular now.
The historical background of the movie "Kapok Robe" is in the Ming Dynasty, but it tells a legendary story that took place in the Tang Dynasty. This story revolves around the legendary Buddhist object Kapok Robe-
It is said that after Kasyapa picked up flowers and smiled at the Lingshan Conference, Sakyamuni passed on the Dharma Eye to Kasyapa, and at the same time passed on the Kapok robe, which was the origin of Zen. Zen was passed on to India for twenty-eight generations and reached the hands of the Patriarch of Bodhidharma. During the reign of Emperor Wu of Liang, Bodhidharma came to cross the river and went north to Shaolin Temple in Songshan, and created the lineage of Zen Buddhism in Middle Earth. When Kapok robe and Zen robe were passed on to the fifth ancestor Hongren, Hongren did not pass it on to Shenxiu, the most famous disciple, but to Huineng, who spoke verse "There was nothing, where did the dust be caused."
When Hongren passed the cassock, he instructed Huineng: "Only spread the original body, secretly put it into the heart, and make a dispute, so that you will not pass it on. In the future, Buddhism will be carried out by you. You will quickly cross the south to avoid being harmed by your fellow disciples." As Hongren expected, Huineng was chased and killed all the way with his cassock, and he also enlightened many people. Many years later, Huineng opened an official lecture in the south, creating a path of "sudden enlightenment" in Zen, which people call the Sixth Patriarch. Chinese Zen actually started from the Sixth Patriarch.
During the reign of Wu Zetian, another disciple of Hongren, Shen Xiu, entered the palace to be worshipped. Shen Xiu recommended Huineng to Wu Zetian, whose intention was to use the imperial family to retrieve the kapok robes. Huineng did not enter the palace, but simply handed the kapok robes to Wu Zetian for offering. From then on, the kapok robes fell into Wu Zetian's hands and their whereabouts were unknown. Although there were many speculations in the scriptures of later generations, no one could be sure where the kapok robes really fell.
There is another magical legend about the kapok cassock. It is said that the fellow disciple Huiming of Shenxiu sected Huiming to chase Huineng and retrieved the cassock. Huiming caught up with Huineng, and Huineng put the cassock in the grass for him to take it, but Huiming couldn't take it. It is said that Zen Buddhism believes that the Kapok cassock is protected by the eight divisions of the Heavenly Dragons, and it is not something that ordinary people can take it. Later, Huiming did not take it and asked about the Dharma. Huineng taught him the Zen mental method, and he also realized the truth three years later. Unexpectedly, this magical Buddhist treasure was actually hidden in a cushion in Jiulin Zen Temple. Feng Junzi stole this cushion and kept letting me sit on it to practice. Incredible, incredible!
If someone else heard about this, they would definitely be unable to help but disassemble the cushion to see if there is a kapok robe inside? If so, what does it look like? But I didn't do that. The cushion is not my thing, and I can't damage it at will. I just took the cushion from under the Zhuangyuan Bridge to Jingwu Cave Heaven. I thought to myself: In the future, this thing will still be returned to Jiulin Zen Temple, and I just use it. I am not interested in Zen robe and bowl, but this thing is beneficial to practice, so I will borrow it for the time being.
Since I had to travel in the Yin God at midnight, I could not stay in Jingwu Cave Heaven and still stayed in the back room of the Luxue Ming room for the night. I decided to travel in the Yin God and came to the Zhuangyuan Bridge early. After waiting for a long time, I saw Feng Junzi flying over. It was not that he was late, but that I was half an hour earlier.
"Shi Ye, you came early. Are you very anxious? You are so impatient? You are not too lazy to pass on the Dharma, you are not too lazy to practice the Dharma, you are not too impatient... Today, did your ears bring you?" Feng Junzi asked me slowly.
"Nonsense, ears are with me!"
Feng Junzi: "It is not listening, but the achievements of the Śrāvakas. This mental method is extremely profound and cannot be passed on by simple words. Since ancient times, the alchemy books have come here, so people outside the door cannot understand it. Today, you and I will still ask questions and answers one by one, and then pass on the mental method after understanding the questions and answers.”
"I understand, please ask."
Feng Junzi signaled me to sit down at the bridgehead, but he floated cross-legged in the air at the other bridgehead. He faced me in the air in a profound and unfathomable manner and asked, "At the beginning of an old question, why are there four doors and twelve floors divided into four doors?"
"I know this. This Dao Dan realm is like circling up. Every time I pass the third level, I return to a higher starting point. The mantras and mind methods look similar, but the realm is different."
Feng Junzi: "What is the similarity between the first and second doors when you start with it?"
"The first door starts with the 'inner illumination'. Before this, the mortal eye could only see everything outside the body, but could not see the flow of its own vitality. Entering the first door, you can look inward, which is a new vision. The second door starts with the 'spiritual'. After the elixir is completed, all things are different. A lie is opened in the chaos, and a free body and mind appear in the body."
Feng Junzi nodded and asked again: "Then why do you have to go through the true sky disaster when entering the third sect?"
I thought about it and replied: "The realm of true vacuum is after the completion of the golden elixir. When the golden elixir is perfect, the body and mind are in harmony. The true nature is always there, and the golden elixir has become my body and mind. If you stop here, you cannot continue to practice. The "I" disappears from the vacuum. After the "I have nothing", the golden elixir is gone! I think in the third elixir, it is probably the reappearance of the golden elixir? I remember when I first entered the second elixir, my perception was that everything in heaven and earth was created out of nothing. Have you said anything like God wants to have light?"
Feng Junzi blinked and asked an inexplicable sentence: "Shiye, do you believe me if I say I am the Buddha?"
"I don't believe it!"
Feng Junzi: "Why?"
"The Buddha said--The Tathagata cannot be seen."
Feng Junzi blinked and asked again: "Ishino, do you believe in me if I say you are God?"
"I believe it!"
Feng Junzi: "Do you believe this kind of nonsense?"
"God said - there must be light. All things in the world are born from nothing, so before all things are born, God is nothing. I think the alchemy in the third door is to emerge from the realm of "I am nothing" and a new "I am" is born from nothing."
Feng Junzi laughed loudly when he heard this, laughed and turned a few times in the air, then calmed down and said, "Congratulations, you all answered correctly! God first and then there is light? Is that true? I don't know! When you see the light, you will look back to God. This is the way of the alchemy. Why does the mental method of fetal movement need to be after the vacuum? Because the two words fetal movement are the beginning of human beings. There is no me in the vacuum, so where do I come from? Of course, from fetal movement, what I teach you is the mental method of creating a holy fetus in the vacuum... Shi Ye, how do you understand the "nameless" and "famous" in the formula?"
"The beginning of the nameless world, the mother of all things. My realm is beyond my understanding, so I dare not argue. What I think of today is myself, I am Ishino. I want to know who I was before I was Ishino?"
Feng Junzi: "Haha, that's still you. But it's another you. Don't bother me, just have this state of mind. Go under the bridge hole together, I'm going to talk about the mind method. In fact, the mind method has just been explained, and I'm just giving you some more annotations. It's not easy to understand, you have to listen carefully."
Feng Junzi explained the method of fetal movement in the mind under the bridge hole. He gave me three hours of speech. He spoke for six hours without stopping. It was not long-lasting. He did not repeat a word from beginning to end, and each sentence had a key point. If such a mind method, if there is no achievements in the Śrāvaka with supernatural powers, let alone learn it, you won’t even know what he said after listening to it! I really admire him for being able to explain these words clearly. Although I understand it, I cannot convey others clearly like him.
Feng Junzi finally finished speaking, and it was almost dawn. He stretched out his arms and flew into the air, leaving me thinking hard. While he was thinking, he heard Feng Junzi's voice coming from far away from the air: "The Taoist 'fetal movement' elixir technique can actually be verified with the Buddhist Zen practice. If you have learned the Diamond Sutra, you can learn from it from 'no place' to 'good care'. That's why I asked you to meditate on that cushion...... Practice the fetal movement method - be careful not to have a miscarriage!"
