Sunshine, flowers, water-like language
Many years ago, I read this sentence in an article: "Language should be like sunshine, flowers, and water." At that time, I felt very useful, so I kept my heart in mind and always reflected on it. As I grew older, I felt that it was meaningful.
Common sayings: "A good word warms up in three winters, and a bad word hurts people in six months." Language is a tool for conveying emotions and communication, but if used improperly, even if it comes from unintentionality, it will become a powerful tool for hurting people. Looking back on my life, aren't I often rejected, mocked, or even slandered? The reason why I can safely survive every stormy wave is that I should first thank the classic texts and the famous quotes of ancient sages, among which historical biography describes the mysterious
Master Zang's "Word without fame and fortune, and behavior is empty and empty" is my motto of self-encouraging since I was young. I have been consciously benefiting from it for many years. Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva's spirit of "If I don't go to hell, who will go to hell" always arouses my infinite courage when I rebelliously arise; whenever I am in danger, I think of what Master Jianzhen said, "Why cherish life for a great thing?", a strong sense of mission arises naturally, adding to the infinite power in my heart.
In addition, I can also "create" the language like sunshine and flowers in my heart, intoxicated and contented. I remember when I founded Foguang Mountain, there was a small open space in front of the round gate of the school department. I often invited teachers, students and disciples to have tea and talk together. At that time, I often said to myself: "It's so great, there is such an open space for our masters and disciples to meet our hearts." Later, we opened up a Bodhi Road, and I was very excited: "It's so beautiful, we have another place to go for a walk." When the Baoqiao was completed, I was very excited: "It's so beautiful. We have another place to go for a walk."
The feeling of happiness often comes to my heart: "It's so convenient. Now that I have such a bridge that crosses the stream, I no longer have to wade around the water." Even if I buy a small book and put it in the library, I am very happy: "Everyone has more spiritual food." Because I regard many things as "so big" and "so beautiful", I never limit my mind to the comparison between people and me, but can expand myself from the improvement of my soul; from the growth of construction, I can complete myself, so I can be content and always be enterprising.
