Chapter five hundred and forty-ninth rain(2/2)

They stood outside the inn and waited for about half a moment, waiting for people and then waiting for military orders.

There was a man coming up from behind. When he came, the person standing on the street was like a separate wave, giving him a way out.

The man walked downstairs of the inn and looked up at the window.

The heavy rain washed his face, but he didn't even blink his eyes.

Li Chi looked at him, he looked at Li Chi.

I thought they would attack, but after a moment, the leader turned around and ordered, and all the men holding the sword immediately retreated.

They came silently, and they retreated silently.

Ding Shengjia walked to the inn alone, raised his hand and knocked on the door.

Yu Jiuling looked at Li Chi, and Li Chi nodded: "Open the door."

After a while, the living room.

After Ding Shengjia entered the door, he took off his hat and hung it on the clothes hanger at the door. The straw raincoat was still dripping with water. He did not walk inside, as if he didn't want to wet the ground of the inn.

Li Chi got down from the upper floor and pointed to the other side of the table: "Please sit."

Ding Shengjia shook his head: "Don't sit anymore, you can't get the inn dirty."

Li Chi said: "It's okay."

Ding Shengjia thought for a moment, took off his straw raincoat and hung it on the hanger.

He walked to the table and sat down, sitting there, his upper body still straight.

"You bought the inn?"

He asked.

Li Chi nodded: "After all, if you break someone else's things, you will have to pay for it."

Ding Shengjia sighed: "Shen Yitang is indeed not short of money."

Li Chi sat down opposite Ding Shengjia and poured Ding Shengjia a cup of hot tea.

"Why did the general retreat?"

"How do you know I am a general?"

Li Chi glanced at the clothes hanger and said, "The hat is like an iron helmet, and the straw raincoat is like a military armor."

Ding Shengjia's eyes showed a little appreciation.

He looked at the hot tea in front of him, but did not drink it.

After a while, he asked Li Chi, "If you have such a vision, you must know that there will be disputes, so why do you still have to do it?"

Li Chi asked back: "Is the general from Yuzhou?"

Ding Shengjia nodded: "I am."

Li Chi said: "I am from Jizhou."

Ding Shengjia said: "So?"

Li Chi said: "So the general shouldn't ask."

Ding Shengjia asked, "Are you a soldier too?"

Li Chi shook his head: "Not counted."

Ding Shengjia said: "The inside and outside of this inn are very cautious. Whether it is your position or their arrangement, they are all military formations."

Li Chi said: "They are soldiers."

Ding Shengjia frowned: "It is a shame for soldiers to be employed by merchants."

Li Chi smiled, without answering, just glanced at Ding Shengjia.

Ding Shengjia frowned again: "I am not employed by a businessman."

Li Chi still didn't say anything.

After a while, Ding Shengjia stood up and said, "If I order an attack, both sides will suffer."

Li Chi nodded: "You care about your soldiers' life and death, and I care too."

Ding Shengjia said: "My subordinates are all elites, so are your people. When fighting, many people will die."

Li Chi said: "General, please come back."

Ding Shengjia asked: "Return the carriage and horse."

Li Chi shook his head.

Ding Shengjia said: "Your people take advantage of the terrain to defend and take the lead, but how can you not leave the city? The plains, your people are not my opponent."

Li Chi said: "The number of five or five."

Ding Shengjia was silent for a moment and looked at the knife in his arms.

Li Chi immediately understood.
