Forty-two Unforgivable (Part 1)
In fact, as an emperor, as the noblest person in the entire country, what he likes to hear the most is the praise, approval and support of others; and what he most does not want to hear is the voice of opposition, but what he needs to hear the most is the voice of opposition. Therefore, there are so many ministers who dare to speak out and are respected by later generations, and the monarchs they directly advise will often become the targets of cursing in history.
The reason why His Majesty Li Er was able to obtain a relatively high status was that during his reign, a famous counselor named Wei Zheng appeared, and he lived until he died of illness. Although the tombstone was later pushed down, he was finally recognized by the emperor and made him feel guilty again.
Therefore, His Majesty Li Er's mind is broad, and in the early years of Zhenguan, he could accommodate all rivers. Therefore, Suning did not have to be afraid that His Majesty Li Er would be angry because of his own mistakes: "No, Your Majesty, the victims of the villagers' relatives are not merely me. The world is in chaos, the people are displaced, and countless victims of the villagers' relatives are countless. This is inevitable. I will not burn the enemy just because of this."
His Majesty Li Er was very surprised. He felt that Suning was becoming more and more interesting: "What does this mean?"
Suning said: "Anyone who is not my race will do this. It would be fine if he doesn't offend me, even if he dares to offend me, even if he dares to offend me, even if he has the chance, he will kill all the tribe, regardless of men, women, age and young!"
As soon as he finished speaking, the court was shocked. Even His Majesty Li Er was quite surprised. However, he had experienced strong winds and rains, and had seen anyone, and there were also people who had teeth hated foreign races. However, there were no ones who were young like Suning who hated foreign races so much that they shouted to kill them all.
Young and vigorous, young and vigorous! His Majesty Li Er suddenly felt a little relaxed. Suddenly, he felt a little happy, and a smile appeared on his face. This kid could not escape his own control. This is a great opportunity! No one would think it was inappropriate.
People like Li Jing, Li Shiji, Tang Jian, who have a little understanding of Suning do not find it strange, but they are shocked. If you say such words in the court, isn’t it a slap! Men, women, young and old? Although many people think so, no one dares to say so, dares to do so! Even an old rascal like Cheng Yaojin dares to say so in the court. At most, he is wronged and cheated. As for such a big problem and a big position, Old Cheng has always been a self-protection!
This kid really wants to be Huo Qubing?!
At this time, only Yuchi Gong, the black object, nodded constantly and sighed, saying that this was right, and this was what I always wanted to do! But at this time, Yuchi Gong obviously would not support Suning explicitly, because even his wooden head saw the civil servants' evil spirit soaring into the sky, and a faint black air rose into the air, forming a black angry dragon, ready to launch a strong attack on Suning! It was obvious that Suning's words just now aroused the anger of the civil servants!
Although civil officials and military officers have been opposed since ancient times, in the court, military officers are not opponents of civil servants. Their words in the court are more powerful than swords in the hands of military officers. What's more, in the current situation in the Tang Dynasty, civil servants are quarreling, and military officers will only watch the walls and will not argue with civil servants in court affairs. What's more, this kind of problem that civil servants regard as a big deal is probably not even able to withstand the civil servants!
Changsun Wuji was the leader of civil servants, and at this time he also frowned. As a former general, he would not feel cruel and unkind, but he knew very well that in the eyes of those civil servants who had never seen blood, this was definitely an unforgivable sin! Although this kid was excellent, he was still too young and energetic! It was not good now. Even those old guys had to retreat!
Tang Jian's face was even pale. Looking at the many officials around him who were eager to try, he felt powerless. If he was angry with the public, even the emperor would not be able to protect him! This kid is too young!
"Your Majesty! I have this memorial!"
Sure enough, after a short period of dismay, the civil servant group began to attack Suning. The first one came out was an old man with a gray beard and hair, wearing a shallow robe, and he should be a fifth-rank official. As soon as he stood up, he glared at Suning. His Majesty Li Er was obviously afraid of the old man, and his voice became a little hesitant: "Uh, what is Kong Aiqing's memorial?"
Kong Aiqing? A minister named Kong in the early years of Zhenguan, was it Kong Yingda? The prosperous scholar who wrote "The Justice of the Five Classics"? There was an important task that the Tang Dynasty and descendants had extremely important influence! It was a descendant of Confucius who was awarded the title for cultural contributions! Oh my god, when the old man talked about Confucianism, he specially mentioned this old guy. He is now doing the job, the position that specifically refuted the emperor's orders, and the civil and military officials in the court, which is the most suitable position for him. The identity of Confucius' descendants, no emperor dared to touch him, such as His Majesty Li Er...
Old scholars like Kong Yingda had a very high status in the Tang Dynasty. They had low titles and official positions, but their status was very high. In the era when less than one thousand scholars of the Tang Dynasty, anyone who knew literacy and knowledge was a treasure, not to mention these erudite scholars, who were quite respected, and even the emperor dared not rebuke them. Besides, they had no reason to be rebuked.
Didn’t you see that His Majesty Li Er is in a very hesitant situation now?
However, Suning was not afraid of him. He happened to have a lot of words to talk to Kong Yingda, the orthodox representative of Confucianism. Just like when Emperor Wu of Han was preparing to launch a counterattack against the Huns, he also wanted to unify the ideas in the court so that it would not have an impact on the war. Therefore, a large-scale debate meeting was held, which demoted a large number of ministers of the master and the faction in one fell swoop and promoted the pro-war faction. If he wanted to fight well and succeed, he had to unify his thoughts and not have opponents, especially in the court.
Every time the Tang Dynasty launched a war, there were always people who raised objections. Whether this was good or bad for the Tang Dynasty, they all thought it was bad. This was not only a problem of Confucianism, but more importantly, it was the huge social problems brought about by launching a war, such as increasing labor service and taxes, affecting people's livelihood, causing the people to suffer, and the country consumed a lot of money and food, which was not good for the country. These issues were important issues that determined whether the Tang Dynasty could launch a war.
So Suning not only wants to refute that kind of idea, but more importantly, propose solutions so that the kind of master and idea does not have the soil and supporters on which to survive. In this way, many things can be changed.
Old man Kong Yingda snorted angrily and said, "Your Majesty, Suning, the Sanyuan County, spoke too much in the court, and even kept killing all the people. My Tang Dynasty established the country with benevolence and filial piety. How can such an unkind person bear the respect of Your Majesty? If such a person is valued, how should the vassal state of the Tang Dynasty view the Tang Dynasty? I am worried all day long and will be forced to rebel! At such a young age, so cruel and unkind, what did your master teach you? You have read poetry and books! Benevolence is the foundation of your life, and your master has never said it?!"
As soon as Kong Yingda finished speaking, another official wearing a green robe stood up and said loudly: "I am asking you! Your Majesty, I have also heard that Sanyuan County entered the kitchen as a title and did that humble thing! Mencius once said that a gentleman was away from the kitchen, and Sanyuan County actually entered the kitchen. It can be seen that he was not a gentleman! I beg Your Majesty to blame him heavily!"
His Majesty Li Er frowned. Before he could scold this person who followed the trend, Suning became furious.
"The family members of my family have been separated for fourteen years. I have just reunited to cook for my mother and for my family. What's wrong with me? When I served my master in the past, I have never cooked a lot. I respected my master and respected my mother. What's wrong with me? I have no kitchen, what's wrong with me? I have no kitchen, what's wrong with me? I have no food to eat! I don't have diligence in my body and no grains to distinguish! I have the face to say to me! I feel ashamed of you!" Suning scolded the green-robed official.
Before the green robe official could speak, Kong Yingda spoke first, and it was not what he said to Suning, but to the green robe official: "Rareless! How can you talk nonsense like this! Sanyuan County is a filial act of cooking for her mother and teacher! The Tang Dynasty established a country with benevolence and filial piety, and benevolence and filial piety, so there is the word filial piety! Filial piety is a great way! Sanyuan County does not hesitate to cook to repay her mother's kindness for giving birth. What's wrong with her? Where did the books of sages in the past have been read!"
Suning looked at Kong Yingda and was a little stunned. Isn’t this old man going to fire at him? The green-robed official obviously helped Kong Yingda open fire at him. Why did Kong Yingda help him speak? Could it be that he is really a master with noble character, not people, and wholeheartedly doing good? This is the true master style?
The green robe official was also quite aggrieved. He obviously helped the old man, but the old man turned the gun and fired him, making him look bad inside and outside. His face was red and he dared not speak. He became a joke in public. Moreover, the future was unclear, and His Majesty Li Er's expression was very bad...
Kong Yingda angrily scolded the green-robed official, and saw Suning looking at him in surprise, and snorted, "I have always only looked at what I did right or wrong. I will not identify a person by looking at just one thing. What you said is to be a mother and a teacher. I think it is a filial act. Today, I heard what you and Duke Dai and others said, but I also understand the temptation of food. I have always been very doubtful about Mencius's words, gentlemen stay away from the kitchen. Confucius once said that there is no difference, but why did Mencius say that? I have never understood this, and I have never looked down on the cook. Yi Yin is the cook, but he assisted Shang Tang in establishing the country. If you can have such ability, I will naturally be very happy.
But why do you say the word "killing all the people"? Even the young and old are not spared? Why are you so vicious at such a young age? Listening to your words and deeds, you know that your master must be a master of your generation. Why did your master bring such blood-blooded disciples? You are filial and I appreciate it very much, but why don't you understand benevolence and righteousness? Don't tell me that your master is a blood-killed person."
Suning understood that Kong Yingda was a true master of knowledge, a person who truly understood Confucian principles and put them into practice. Confucianism can be said to be in four stages: self-cultivation, family management, country governance, and world peace; and most people cannot even get through the first stage, so not everyone can achieve self-cultivation. Confucianism’s requirements for self-cultivation are not very high, and even countless hypocrites have appeared over the past thousands of years, but it is difficult to find a true gentleman.
But it is obvious that Suning saw a real Confucian scholar standing in front of him.
Suning has always respected the masters of knowledge who are truly personal and principled. The old man looked down on those famous bricks, but he is very respected for the masters who can truly uphold their own principles, not look at people with tinted glasses, and have enough knowledge.
