Section 5 Copy Runes
Lance tried hard to look at the old wizard's strokes and strokes, but to his surprise, his eyes were clearly staring at the handwriting on the animal skin, but he couldn't see clearly what the Amman wizard was writing!
"Spirit runes are indeed not so easy to remember." Lance opened his eyes wide. No matter how hard he tried, he could only see one outline of the runes at most.
The old wizard wrote very slowly. For him, writing such a rune was actually very skillful. The reason why he wrote so slowly was to give Lance a chance in the end.
Lance looked very seriously and his head began to ache.
Nothing can be seen, only one outline.
Lance began to sweat coldly.
"My condition seems to be much better than that guy. In my memory, he has read at least a dozen times in half a year to write runes, but he can't even see the outline, and can only see a chaotic animal skin." Lance thought silently in his heart.
His current situation is much better than the original owner, which proves that Lance's mental power is at least very sufficient. According to Amman's previous teaching, he knew that if he could see a rough outline when looking at the magic rune for the first time, it means that the person's mental power has met the minimum requirement to become a wizard.
Even so, such a person needs to read at least three times to see the writing clearly and remember the rune.
But Lance has only one chance at this time.
His breathing became more and more rapid, and his eyes began to wet - a large amount of tears gushed out under the stimulation of the soreness. While wiping his tears, he still focused his attention on the rune.
Three minutes later, the old wizard stopped writing, closed the animal skin and said lightly: "Okay."
Lance knew that this was the last favor the teacher had given him. The wizards didn't like to be disturbed. His words meant almost the order to expel guests.
He endured the pain in his head, bowed respectfully to Amman, and then turned toward the elevator.
It happened to be noon when I left the Moonlight Tower.
"Master Lance, you're out."
Seeing Lance walk out between the two potters, Poirot meets it. Lance trembles all over and his lips turn into a dark purple color.
His eyes were filled with blood, and the sound of the main chip came from his ears:
"Warning, warning, your brain is trying to carry an abnormal energy overload."
"Please stop this behavior! Otherwise, it will cause irreparable consequences!"
Lance groaned, vomited blood, and his knees softened, and he immediately knelt on the ground.
He wanted to forcefully interpret the rune in his memory. Of course, this kind of thing was beyond his ability, and immediately caused himself to be damaged by the spell rune.
"Master Lance, what's wrong with you?" Poirot saw that something was wrong and immediately supported Lance. He was not worried about Lance's safety, but about his position and life. Lord Viscount's reputation when he was young was also famous in the entire Cavalry Kingdom. If his entire waste son died by his side, wouldn't he be unable to protect himself?
"As it really doesn't work?" Lance shook his head and stopped the act of forcibly interpreting the spell runes. Even the interpretation cannot be completed, let alone memory, not to mention his promise to the viscount tonight is to be able to write down the entire spell runes.
Judging from the current situation, it seems impossible to use normal means. After all, Lance is not a magic genius, and it is impossible to master a magic rune in an instant.
"Bring me back to the castle." Lance said bluntly, he really didn't have the strength to walk now.
Poirot breathed a sigh of relief. Since Lance could still speak, at least the problem would not be too serious.
So he didn't say a word, and directly carried Lance and ran towards the castle.
...
From Poirot's back, Lance had recovered from his previous dilemma. He had just overdrawn his mental power and had no major physical problems.
Rejecting Poirot's advice to take him to the doctor, he quickly returned to his room in the castle.
"call!"
Lance sat on the bed. At this moment, he was extremely hungry in his stomach, but he had no appetite. The only magical rune shining in his mind was the magical rune.
"Spells are indeed the most magical thing in this world." Lance thought with a little yearning.
"Fox, has the previous record been completed?"
"It's done, the data has been stored all, please name it."
"【Second Meditation Rune】" Lance was a little excited, and he asked silently: "If I call out this information now, can I reproduce the previous process?"
"It can be reproduced, but the effect will not be reduced. However, according to analysis, this process will cause a huge load on your brain. Your current mental state is not suitable for opening the [Second Meditation Rune] information." The fox reminded.
Lance thought silently for a while before asking, "I heard that some advanced chips can directly copy the information into the human brain. Can the fox?"
"Of course, the fox is the latest generation of super main chips." The main chip quickly replied: "But this process has irreversible characteristics. Once the data is copied into the brain, it will never be eliminated. Moreover, this process will cause serious damage to the brain. Although it will not be able to recover forever, it will definitely take a long time to rest. In addition, everyone can only copy the data once in a lifetime. After all, the human brain is a very fragile creature, and current science and technology cannot fully analyze it thoroughly. As an auxiliary instrument of the brain, the main chip is not suitable for long-term interference with the operation of the brain."
"Can you only copy it once?" Lance pondered for a while, and finally decided: "One is enough. As long as I can overcome the hurdle in front of me, I will definitely become a wizard! Although secondary meditation is a relatively common type in meditation, advanced meditation is not so easy to find. It is worth paying such a price to memorize and master such practical spell runes."
"I decided to copy the data, target data [Second Meditation Rune]." Lance lay on the bed and found a more comfortable position to lie down.
"Come on copy now?" the fox asked.
"Of course. Execute the mission immediately!" Lance is not a dragging person.
"The order has been received, and the information has begun to be sorted..."
"The information has been sorted out..."
"Begin biocurrent anesthesia of some brain areas..."
Gradually, Lance entered a state of confusion. He seemed to be asleep, but the fox's voice was still clearly audible:
"Copy the information, start!"
In an instant, it seemed as if a needle was stabbed into Lance's head. The mind, which was already in a state of depression, became even more painful in an instant, and a clear and complete rune was completely imprinted into his mind.
"It turns out that the secondary meditation rune looks like this..." Lance suddenly became enlightened, as if a layer of hazy window paper was pierced by him, and a ray of sunlight shone in.
And outside, outside is a brand new world.
The world of wizards.
After that, there was a severe pain, and Lance fainted without saying a word.
...
As night falls, candlelights in the castle are just coming.
In the dining room on the first floor, a few figures sat calmly, five or six servants and maids served at the dining table, and delivered the dinner brought from the kitchen to the long table.
There were a total of five people sitting on the dining table, including Lord Viscount sitting at one end of the long table, and the rest sitting on both sides according to their status.
Except for Viscount Ryan, the other four people on the dining table were Viscountess Nancy and the three daughters of Viscount. The eldest son Griffin was stationed at the Red River outpost all year round and rarely came back to eat. The second wife went back to her parents' home earlier, which is said to be because an elder with a wealthy family passed away. The second wife is expected to obtain a rich inheritance when she returns.
The rest of the people are listed except...
"Where is Lance?" Viscount Ryan's voice slowly rang on the table.
Several servants immediately looked at each other and shook their heads. Since the previous personal maid was fired by Master Lance, no one has served as the second master's servant again. They were not sure what happened to Master Lance.
"Master, this morning, Master Lance went to the Moonlight Tower. At noon, a guard saw that he had returned to the castle." A thick female voice replied: "Master Lance has always been on time. Something may have tripped up today."
The person who spoke was a middle-aged woman named Xili. She worked in the castle for more than ten years. The deep viscount and the viscount's favor were the viscount's distant relative. Xili was originally a distant relative of the viscount, but now she works in the castle and serves the viscount's children.
The Viscount snorted coldly.
The atmosphere on the dining table suddenly became cold.
Everyone knew that Lord Viscount was in a very bad mood now. Just before the meal, Viscount announced in front of everyone that he would give Lance another chance, and after today's dinner, he asked him to write a spell rune, which was personally identified by the Amman wizard.
But when the dinner began, Lance did not show up at all.
This made Viscount Ryan very angry.
After about five minutes, Lance still showed no sign of showing up. Becky looked gloating, and her mother obviously did the same; Erin showed a worried look.
"Eat." Viscount ordered concisely.
Everyone dared not disobey and began to enjoy tonight's sumptuous meal.
An hour later, the last round of dessert had been served, and Lance still did not show up.
Lord Viscount was still expressionless, but the waiter standing behind him was about to sweat on his forehead.
After serving the viscount for many years, he clearly knew that this was just a strange peace before the storm came.
"Master, the Amman wizard has arrived." An old man in the butler's clothes walked over slowly.
"Please come in," said Ryan.
The butler nodded and walked out.
At this moment, a sound suddenly appeared on the dining table: "Sir, let me go and see Brother Lance..."
