Chapter 24 The House of Bones(1/2)

"What?"

Lance's body suddenly stopped. Bonnie's voice was very light, with a hint of fear, but at least she knew how to restrain herself and did not shout out loud.

This is not above the monastery, it is in a dry well, and it is logically impossible to have wind.

"Something is blowing my hair...my neck is itchy, and I dare not look back." Bonnie whispered.

It could be heard that her voice was trembling.

Lance took a deep breath, and he looked serious and held Bonnie's left hand tightly.

The next second, he closed his eyes and turned the black bat's power to the maximum.

Before, he was still instinctively using Hawkeye's glimmer vision in the darkness. Although the effect was average, he could at least see something clearly.

But Hawkeye is not a real night vision ability after all, and many things hidden deeper are unable to be discovered by Lance.

Black bats are sonic searches, and in terms of reconnaissance, they are much stronger than Hawkeye. But the problem is that Lance cannot always turn on the black bat, so he will endure a large number of boring data streams every minute and every second. Although most of these data streams are endured by foxes, in places like dry wells, once something happens, the black bat's keen exploration ability will hurt Lance.

So he hadn't used this sub-chip before.

Now, under Bonnie's reminder, he opened the Black Bat.

I don’t know if it doesn’t open, but when it opens, Lance jumps!

I saw several vague outlines appearing on the stone wall of the dry well beside them.

These outlines are embedded on the stone wall, which fits seamlessly with the stone. I am afraid that even with real night vision, these lurking guys will not be able to find them!

"Arrow spitting snake!"

Lance said softly.

Bonnie's body immediately became stiff.

The statue of the monk in the monastery is still vivid in my mind. She doesn't become like that as she does. But she also remembers what Lance said. As long as you don't over-incite the arrow-spouting snake, these monsters will not spit out the petrified arrow.

"There are still many below, but you don't have to worry." Lance calmed down and whispered: "Once you feel something, just lean on me, and I will try my best to protect you."

Although the petrified arrow of the spitting snake is powerful, there is no way to go in front of Lance's crystal fog. The 360-degree solidification spell without dead corners. The defensive strength of more than 200 points is destined to be no threat in Lance's eyes.

The only person who could be hurt was Bonnie.

Lance continued to hold Bonnie's hand, controlling the telescopic rope to continue to descend while controlling the uniform speed, and said, "Don't be afraid, it's not that the spitting snake is aiming at you. It's itching to test whether you are hostile. Don't do it. Let's just land slowly. If it's a little itchy, hold back and don't scratch it, do you know?"

Bonnie nodded, remembering what Lance said. She didn't even point her head.

To be safe, Lance simply held the rope with one hand and gently held Bonnie's waist with the other hand.

He hugged the little maid's body tightly, so the two of them almost face to face, and the air flow of their noses was exchanged, which seemed a bit charming.

But Lance didn't have so many bad thoughts. He did this just to protect Bonnie to the greatest extent.

After all, the speed of the crystal fog is limited, so it is definitely more than enough to protect yourself, but it may not be able to cover Bonnie in time.

The two of them wanted to stick tightly to each other. Bonnie could feel the burning heat coming from Lance's hard and strong chest. She forgot all her fears for a moment, just hugged Lance calmly, and at the same time, she held a red ring, ready to launch a spell attack at any time.

Slowly, the arrow-spouting snakes on the stone wall seemed to lose interest in these two people.

Human bodies are too large and are not within the scope of the hunting map of the arrow-spitting snake. As long as humans do not provoke them, they will not attack them actively.

Finally, fifteen minutes later, the two of them touched a piece of ground.

...

A cold wind suddenly came.

"There is airflow, it proves not a dead end." Lance whispered.

He put away the telescopic rope and held Bonnie's left hand tightened slightly. The latter immediately understood Lance's intentions, and the glowing ladybug immediately flew out.

The long-lost light illuminated the bottom of the dry well, and everything around it made the knowledgeable Lance couldn't help but take a breath!

White corpses are everywhere!

Above the corpse, there was a strange insect covered with red surfaces, with wings flapping faintly. It seemed to be slow, but it made a low thunderous sound.

This is what the bugs seem to feed on these corpses.

But in Lance's opinion, there were too many corpses in the maze of this monastery!

It can almost be described as piled up into mountains!

"Young Master, these corpses are very deformed." Bonnie took a deep breath and could calm down and analyze: "It should not be human corpses."

"Well, if I guess correctly, it should be the dwarfs who dug these tunnels. I don't know what kind of battle they experienced here at the beginning."

Lance pondered.

The corpses on the ground did not cover up the road they were going to. The dry well was indeed a well-connected tunnel group.

Or, Lance, who doesn't have a map on hand, would rather call it a maze.

The two of them carefully bypassed the weird red bugs, and it was the best thing for both of them to be at peace.

"Where are we going?" Bonnie asked.

Lance's eyes flashed through the map above the monastery, looked at the stone walls on both sides, and finally said, "Let's go there."

...

Lance clearly remembered that he entered from the west gate of the monastery. If he wanted to truly enter the underground world, they had to reach an important place.

And that place is below the dry well in the center of the monastery.

Since you are in the West, just walk east.

Although the tunnel of the monastery was made by dwarfs, it was very high. Lance was very tall, but he could still walk in the tunnel freely.

The only thing that made him feel uncomfortable was that there was a dead silence in the entire tunnel.

He had only felt this kind of aura in the Flower Scorpion Society wizard who practiced necromancer at the time.

"Is there a necromancer here?" Lance thought carefully while walking.

Bonnie followed step by step, not daring to be negligent.

The corpses along the way made Lance shockingly see. He seemed to have never seen any land that was empty. Every five steps, there was at least a small skull, and every fifteen steps, he could get a skeleton of a dwarf.

"This is the paradise for the necromancers..."

Lance smiled self-deprecatingly.

Fortunately, although they don’t have a map in their hands, the maze below does not seem to be complicated. They are straightforward tunnels.

Lance walked along the tunnel, and ignored it when he encountered a fork, heading east all the way.

Finally, fifteen minutes later, he encountered the first monster.

It was a wild mountain blue spider that had been entrenched for a long time. She hid in a cold and narrow cave and was about to attack Lance.

Unfortunately, Lance, who turned on the Black Bat and Hawkeye at the same time, could make her do what she wants?

Two simple cutting techniques, Lance cut off eight of her tentacles.

The rest of the matter is unforgettable for the little maid.

"Come on, kill her."

Lance's tone was calm, but it made Bonnie feel a little nervous.

"She has no ability to resist anymore. So you don't have to be afraid." Lance said lightly: "If you want to follow me, you must be prepared to deal with some situations. My personal maid needs more than just the help I have in my daily life. Do you understand?"

Bonnie nodded. She was not a very smart girl, but she believed Lance's words.

She gritted her teeth and suddenly took out a long sword from the Arcane Ring in her right hand. Since she mastered the secondary meditation, Lance has given her the Arcane Ring.

Bonnie held the long sword and strode to the wild mountain blue spider. She stared at the dying and whineful spider, firmly held the long sword, and stabbed it hard at the latter's abdomen!

Puff puff puff!

A large amount of green juice splashed out, and a few drops even splashed on Bonnie's face.

The girl did not let go, but pulled up her sword high and continued to stab her in the whine of the spider!

After several consecutive times, the spider finally lost all its vitality and stopped hesitating.

The girl put away the sword, wiped off the green juice from her face silently, and stood behind Lance:

"Young Master, what you have explained is done."

Her tone was a little trembling, but her eyes were extremely firm.

Lance patted his shoulder with relief, and the two of them stopped caring about the spider and continued to move forward.

...

Dark tunnels are always easy to make people feel that they can't finish them.

The near-dead silence is enough to defeat most people's minds, which is why the dark world makes the wizards on the surface very afraid.

The master and servant moved forward with each other. After a long time, the fork in front of him suddenly began to become wider.

It was a place that seemed like a burning corpse.
To be continued...
