Section 14 Intelligence
Wangfeng cliff, in the castle.
The largest study room was originally occupied by Prince Longbaton himself.
On the west side of the study, there is a large piece of blank glass. From this angle, you can see one line of defense arranged by the Kingdom of Piks with the castle as the fulcrum in the nearby waters.
Those damn sea tribes came from the Sea of Peace, first conspired to capture Winterfell Harbor, and then headed south along the coastline, eroding a large amount of land in the kingdom.
What is even more surprising is that this invasion of the sea tribe seems to be different from before. Originally, the sea tribe invaded human cities, at most it was to plunder some slaves and wealth, as well as other rare scarce resources in the sea.
It is precisely because of this that in the past few years, the two sides have established certain trade channels, which greatly alleviated the conflict between the sea people and the coastline residents. Although there are occasional reports of conflicts between the fishermen and the sea people, in general, both sides can still live in peace.
Before the sea clan attacked Winterfell Harbor, no one noticed any signs.
Even if a new generation of the sea tribe queen was born, these intellectually low-minded sea creatures had no reason to invade land. After all, for the sea tribe, the ocean is the place where they live.
So at the beginning, the Cavalry Kingdom was still optimistic about this war. If you drag it down, the sea clan should have retreated.
Because among the sea tribe, although the individual combat power of fishmen is not high, they are many, and they are the main force of combat. This kind of creature happens to be unable to survive on the ground for a long time, otherwise their scales will dry and crack. In the end, they will die due to excessive bleeding. Although the other sea tribe creatures do not have the disadvantages of fishmen, their combat ability will be greatly reduced on land.
Who knew that as the war continued to continue, the land of the kingdom was constantly being eroded, and more and more information was transmitted back from spies who were invaded by humans. Many of the valuable information sacrificed several precious lives before it was passed to the hands of the top leaders of the kingdom.
The three human kingdoms on the edge of the coastline, including the Kingdom of Cavalry, finally realized that this invasion of the sea tribe might be completely different from before.
This time, they seemed to really want to gain a foothold on land. They would gain a foothold and break into the inland!
According to the information, the royal family's top leaders learned some unknown information. The new sea queen was born with the ability to mobilize the giant beasts in the sea, and had a pair of magical eyes. Any creature locked by her eyes would obey her orders. Moreover, a secret place guarded by the sea royal family suddenly opened, revealing many very precious resources from it.
These resources cannot make the sea clan with low intelligence become such a powerful wizard, but they have transformed a total of nine sea clan prophets and more first-level spell casters.
Compared with the wizards hidden among humans, this number is undoubtedly terrifying. The royal families of the three kingdoms joined forces to ask Ferrendor for help, but they got the fact that the wizard world that guards one side is also being invaded by wizards from another race!
Among the three wizard organizations, the most powerful Scarlet Castle was completely destroyed. The truly potential geniuses were retained by the old blind and sent to the half plane to practice; while the wizards who were dismissed were hunted by vampires and the underworld. So when Lance returned to Ferrondor, he did not even see the wizards of Scarlet Castle, and there were only members of Rainbow Island and Treewalker's House in the safe house.
The other two wizard organizations, the Treewalker Hut, actively fought, but the attitude of Rainbow Island is a bit unpredictable. They disagree but do not stop the wizards of the organization from joining the army that resisted the Nether tribe. However, their headquarters is in a state of blockade. Several advanced wizards seem to be planning something important.
In this case, the TreeWorker's House was also unstoppable, so he could only send a second-level wizard and two higher apprentices to help.
Fortunately, there were originally some extremely rare wizards in the royal families of several kingdoms. These wizards, coupled with some of the Scarlet Castle apprentices who struggled to break out of Ferondor, formed the main force of humans to fight against the sea spellcasters on the sea tribe.
...
"The current situation is that the mysterious sea queen has not even appeared. We don't know what the reason for her decision to attack the inland, but it can be seen that her attitude is very firm."
Inside the study, a blond female officer dressed in a simple and neat manner was meticulously reporting to Prince Longbaton.
The female officer was wearing a narrow knee-length skirt, and the top was a simple white shirt. The buttons of the shirt were tightly buttoned, outlining the full curve of the chest.
She wore black glasses and her skin was astonishingly fair. Her enchanting figure and serious expression formed a serious contrast.
Prince Longbottom sat on a shark-skin recliner, squinted his eyes and listened to the female officer's report, and felt extremely upset.
He suddenly stood up, pressed the female officer on the desk, lifted her narrow skirt, and stabbed it hard.
In this spacious study, he started to vent his anger.
However, what is surprising is that the female officer who was pushed down only showed a slightly painful expression. The next second, she did not even frown and continued to report like a robot:
"...For you at present, greater pressure comes from the country. The lords in the southwest are no longer satisfied. They think you have taken the Queen hostage and took advantage of this war to try to rewrite the kingdom's surname to Longbottom. According to spies from Horn, the food in the territory has increased by more than 60% in recent days, which is a sign that someone is secretly hoarding food. Your northern territory is not that safe."
The blonde female officer's voice was so beautiful, like a graceful oriole, but in Longbaton's ears, there was no sound.
It seemed as if what I was doing was a soulless puppet!
He grabbed the female officer's chest with a big hand and shouted in a nearly roaring voice: "What else do you have to report on?"
The female officer whispered in pain, but it further stimulated Longbotton's desire. He struggled to conquer the woman beneath him.
After the latter whispered, he answered seriously: "There are many more. For example, Viscount Ryan's son. What are you going to do with it?"
"Although Viscount Ryan is a nobleman of the New Party, he is an absolute royalist. He is loyal to the Queen, and I don't need to say much about his attitude towards you, right? You took away his territory and he hated you to the core. As for his son Griffin, he is a good man. He has made many achievements in the battle with the sea tribe before. If he just killed him like this, it would be a pity."
Longbottom speeded up and said quietly, "You mean Ryan? A little viscount, what can he do if he hates me?"
"As for his son, it's a pity to kill him. Let him go to the front line and fight with the sea clan. Hehe."
His breathing was getting heavier and heavier.
The female officer's tone was as stable as ever: "But the information shows that Viscount Ryan actually had two sons. The one we caught was the eldest son Griffin. There was also a second son named Lance..."
"These are useless information!" Longbottom angrily lifted her narrow skirt, slapped it on the snow-white touch, and immediately left a deep red palm print.
"Your father asked you to follow me to repay your kindness, but not just a full-time intelligence officer, you also need to learn how to please me!"
The female officer still had a blank expression: "I'm sorry. I won't."
"In addition, I still need to make a point about that Lance. There is information that this young master Lance went out to study in name, but actually entered the wizarding world... This information comes from an old chef in Wangfeng Castle. In addition to the invasion of the sea clan, he gained the trust of Viscount Ryan. Therefore, his reliability is still very high."
"So what about the wizard world?" Longbaton suddenly became even more annoyed: "I don't know how many wizards died in this war in the wizard world. Do you think that Lance can return safely from the wizard world and come to the door?"
The female officer glanced at him and said calmly: "Although you are not afraid of your mouth, your physical reaction has betrayed you."
Longbottom stood there awkwardly and cursed, but he lifted his pants and put away the soft guy.
The female officer's attitude made him lose interest and he unknowingly lost the ability to continue while discussing the information.
The female officer quickly straightened her body and tidied her clothes, which did not take more than three seconds.
She cleared her throat and continued, "So, even because of Lance, the potential wizard, we must be careful of Viscount Ryan's counterattack. I suggest that we must approve his previous application-at least half. If he is completely prevented from taking away the people of the territory, then he will not talk about opening up new territory, even the nobles' lives will not be able to maintain."
"Approval application?" Longbottom sneered, "What should I do? Who gave me human hands? What should I use to fight the sea clan?"
The female officer said calmly: "This is the decision you need to make. I am only responsible for reporting and analysis of intelligence."
Longbottom looked at the beautiful face beside him and felt very angry.
Who knew that at this moment, a personal guard suddenly rushed in in panic.
"Prince! Young Master Longbottom was killed!"
"What!" Longbottom roared angrily, unable to believe it at all: "Is it the people of the sea clan who sneaked into our territory?"
"No!" said the guard hurriedly: "Today, the young master led people to attack Viscount Ryan's Apple Manor, but he was defeated. Half of the knights in a squadron died and half escaped. The young master... could not escape."
"Then why do you say that my son was killed??" Longbottom breathed a little slow and angrily scolded: "That bastard Ryan dare not kill my son."
"No... the young master's head is now hanging on the narrow bridge at the entrance of the castle. The enemy who defeated our knights is now standing outside the city gate. He said he wants to see you."
Longbaton's eyes suddenly turned dark and he almost fainted in anger.
"You mean, there is only one person who defeated a squadron knight?" the female officer asked extremely keenly.
The guard immediately nodded: "I heard that the man is the second young master of the Ryan family, and he seems to be...Lance."
